As Cry slowly descended, her snow-white feet hovered barely two inches above the ground. She didn't touch the earth; she floated with an ethereal grace that seemed to bend the very air beneath her.
The villagers, who didn't know who she was, instinctively bowed, lowering their heads in unison. To them, this was no ordinary woman. This was a goddess, a divine being delivering judgment upon the wicked and the corrupt. Every Marine, every fishman she had taken, had been swept away by her unseen power. Their screams, their struggles, their fates—they all left a weight of awe in the air. The villagers gulped, dared not look directly at her, and remained bowed. The silence was absolute, as if they had witnessed a miracle beyond mortal comprehension.
Luffy ground his teeth, his fists tensing, but his eyes shone with exhilaration. He understood power when he saw it—and what he saw now dwarfed anything he had encountered.
Zoro's gaze was fixed, unwavering. He knew Cry was powerful, yes—but not to the scale of what she had just unleashed. To summon a behemoth capable of devouring the sky itself… that was beyond imagination. In that moment, he felt something stir deep inside him—a new goal, a challenge he would strive toward, a standard beyond anything he had yet faced.
Sanji, meanwhile, tried to steady himself. Smoke curled from his lips as he struggled to maintain composure. Cry was beyond anything he had known—her presence, her power, her elegance—the epitome of beauty and lethal grace. His heart raced, but he did not falter.
Nojiko's eyes followed Cry, cautious but calm. She didn't fully understand what she was witnessing, but she saw how gently Cry had protected Nami, and that gave her a strange relief, a quiet reassurance.
Nami's gaze stayed fixed on Cry. Her tears had vanished, replaced by clarity. She knew Cry was strong—but she also knew she wasn't alone anymore. This time, she had allies, protectors, and family who would fight for her. For the first time in a long while, she allowed herself to smile—genuine, unmasked, unburdened. Relief, gratitude, and happiness washed over her in equal measure.
Usopp could hardly breathe. His legs shook, his heart thudded in disbelief. When Cry lifted into the air, the sheer scale of the dragon-serpents struck him with overwhelming force—not one, not two, not a hundred, not even a thousand, but perhaps millions of them. He passed out from the sight, only to awaken and see Cry walking downward, her feet gliding along the air like steps lent by the heavens themselves.
Jonny and Yusaku watched silently. They nodded to one another, their resolve quiet but firm. They understood their limits. They would stay behind, protect what they could, and not burden the others. Their choices were made; their paths were clear.
Unbeknownst to all, scattered across the ground of Arlong Park, a network of snail cameras—Cameko—captured portions of the battle. These had been set by Arlong and his crew, intended to record new agreements and trades with the Marines. Most of the devices lay shattered, destroyed by Luffy's ferocious Battle Axe. The few that remained responsive could only record fragments—Marines and fishmen being swept away, the ground-level chaos—but they could not capture what lay above the sky.
Above, the coiling tongues, the dragon-serpents, the mass of living black obsidian—all of it eluded the cameras. Even if recorded, the horror and scale were impossible to comprehend.
And then, a single detail emerged from the chaos: a pair of beautiful, snow-white feet, hovering slowly down, leaving the world trembling in their wake. The cameras could not capture her face, nor her identity. But anyone who saw it—anyone who survived—would forever remember those feet. The weight of screams, the agony, the terror of all those pulled skyward—it all traced back to them. The feet that had brought judgment, salvation, and the uncompromising power of Cry herself.

The silence stretched, heavy and complete, until Nami slowly stepped forward. Her feet moved cautiously, each step deliberate, as if she didn't want to break the fragile calm that lingered in the air.
"Thank you, Cry," she whispered, her voice soft but full of genuine gratitude.
Cry tilted her head slightly, the delicate curve of her expression and the subtle shine in her eyes strikingly beautiful. The simple gesture—the way she regarded Nami—made the entire crew blush. Even Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji couldn't help but feel a warmth in their chests at her quiet, mesmerizing presence.
Nami turned her gaze toward the boys, her voice firm but gentle. "Thank you… Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy."
Luffy grinned, his usual carefree laughter slipping out, "Shishishishi… no problem, Nami!"
Zoro exhaled slowly, his body relaxing for the first time in what felt like hours. His eyes softened, but the intensity of the battle still lingered in his mind. "It's… over," he muttered, a hint of relief breaking through his usual stoic tone.
Sanji, however, was instantly undone. His lecherous instincts surged, his body subtly wiggling as if every fiber of him was reacting to Nami's presence. His eyes glinted with hearts, and he practically sang out, "Ohhh… Nami-chan! No need for thanks! I'll always be your savior, anytime, anywhere!"
The intensity of his declaration made Nami's cheeks flush slightly, though a small, amused smile touched her lips.
The simple, almost innocent interactions—the quiet gratitude of Nami, the proud relief of Zoro, the playful grin of Luffy, and the wild devotion of Sanji—somehow made the moment feel lighter. For the first time since the chaos had begun, they all felt a fragile, comforting sense of ease.
Even Cry, hovering just slightly above the ground, observed the scene with her usual calm elegance, her expression unreadable yet somehow approving.
The storm of battles, horrors, and destruction had passed. For now, this small group of friends, protectors, and allies could breathe.
