Chapter 54 - Chapter 54: BOTH SIDES ?

The gates of Arlong Park loomed ahead, jagged and cruel, adorned with bones and tattered flags fluttering in the sea breeze. The distant cries of villagers and clanging of collapsing wood echoed across the beach. The air itself seemed heavier, charged with the presence of something monstrous lurking inside.

Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji landed on the sand, their footsteps sharp and deliberate.

Luffy cracked his knuckles and grinned. "Alright… let's go saved this village and help our friend!"

Sanji's hands curled into fists, jaw tight, his cigarette trembling slightly as he clenched it between his teeth. "They're not leaving Nami-san alone. Not today. Not ever."

Zoro's eyes narrowed, and he adjusted the hilt of his sword. "Keep your guard up. These fishmen aren't ordinary."

No more words were needed. Ahead, Fishmen patrolling the park noticed the intruders. One by one, they lunged, claws slashing, teeth bared.

WHAM! Luffy's fist met the first Fishman square in the chest, sending him flying over the fence.

"Shishishi! That's the way!" Luffy laughed, dashing forward.

Zoro drew his swords in a blur, slicing through the legs of two more Fishmen in a single sweep. "Move fast. They'll overwhelm you if you dawdle."

Sanji's legs twisted and kicked, landing blow after precise blow. Each kick sent Fishmen crashing into walls, into other opponents, into the sand. "You'll pay for laying a hand on Nami-san!"

The trio moved like a storm, unstoppable, their rhythm perfect—Zoro cutting, Luffy smashing, Sanji kicking. Even the strongest of Arlong's guards fell before them, their confidence shattered by the sheer speed and ferocity of the attack.

Inside Arlong Park, Arlong, Hatchan, Kuroobi, Chew, and the rest of the crew turned at the commotion.

"...What… what is this?" Hatchan's eight arms twitched, scanning the battlefield.

Arlong's cold eyes widened slightly, though he quickly masked it with a sneer. "Humans… bold, or foolish. Who dares to move through my park like this?"

Kuroobi stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. "It's just three of them… they can't possibly be serious."

Chew bared his teeth, grinning. "They don't even know who we are… this'll be fun."

Arlong's tail swished behind him, sending a wave of sand rolling toward the advancing humans. "You think you can waltz in and challenge my territory? These people… they have no idea."

Meanwhile, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji continued their assault, smashing through the remaining Fishmen. Zoro's blade sliced the air with a humming edge, sending opponents tumbling. Luffy's fists exploded forward, each strike like a cannonball. Sanji's legs were a blur, spinning, kicking, sending enemies flying in all directions.

Hatchan hissed. "…These humans… they're insane."

Arlong's eyes narrowed. "Something's… different. They're not afraid. Not like the others. There's strength… there's intent in them."

Zoro wiped blood from his sword but didn't pause. "Don't stop. Keep moving!"

Luffy landed on a broken wall, looking at Arlong's crew with a grin. "You're in our way. Step aside!"

Sanji's foot connected with a Fishman's jaw, sending him staggering into the sand. "You've messed with the wrong girl—and the wrong crew."

Arlong's expression darkened. He took a step forward, his shadow falling across the battlefield like a stormcloud. "Enough. Humans… you've caused enough destruction."

Hatchan and Kuroobi stepped up beside him, their faces hardening. "This is Arlong Park. You're stepping into a fight you won't survive."

Luffy laughed, cracking his fists in the sun. "We're not backing down! "

Zoro's gaze locked onto Arlong, blades steady, unwavering. "You've been warned. Step aside—or die."

Sanji flicked his cigarette aside, his voice low and dangerous. "You'll regret making Nami-chan. cry… mark my words."

The tension thickened. Dust rose from the sand. The Fishmen who had survived froze, watching, unable to move. Even the air seemed to hum, aware of the impending clash.

Arlong's lips curled in a grin, sharp and cruel. "Hmph… humans, huh? I like your spirit. But your bodies? They won't last five minutes here."

Hatchan's eight arms flexed. "Let's see if they can actually fight, boss. I'm curious."

Chew tilted his head, smirking. "This is going to be entertaining. They think they're heroes… we'll show them reality."

Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji stood side by side, muscles tense, hearts racing—not with fear, but with anticipation.

Luffy shouted, cracking his fists into the sky. "We're not leaving until I'll beatyour ass !"

Sanji's eyes burned with anger. "They've gone too far… time to settle this."

Zoro's blade gleamed in the sunlight. "Let's finish this… fast."

Arlong's grin widened, dark and menacing. "Then let the real battle begin…"

And in that moment, both sides paused—the calm before the storm—every heartbeat, every breath, every flicker of movement foreshadowing the explosion that was about to engulf Arlong Park.
