After finally taking stock of his rewards for the past few days, Huang Shi felt a warm stir in his chest. He looked down and saw his beautiful lover finally started to wake up.
He watched the way her long lashes flickered as she moved, her head resting comfortably against him.
She slowly opened her eyes, looking a bit lost for a few seconds.
Her eyes moved across the ceiling and the walls of the room, trying to remember where she was and what had happened.
She seemed confused by the morning light at first. Before she could feel worried or scared, she felt his warm touch on her body.
His hand was gentle and kind, and she quickly calmed down.
She felt safe in his arms, knowing he was right there with her.
She began nuzzling herself on his body, acting like a small cat seeking warmth, before looking up at him with a look of pure adoration.

Huang Shi quickly smiled to himself.
He felt very happy to see her face and the way she looked at him with so much love. He leaned down, kissing her on the forehead softly.
His lips stayed there for a moment before he pulled back and whispered back to her, "Good morning my Mei'er."
They stayed like that for a while, just enjoying the peace of the morning.
After cuddling for a bit more and basking in the feelings of last night's intense debacle, the room felt warm and still. Huang Shi finally decided to give her his gift.
He had a plan in his mind, and he spoke with a gentle smile on his face.
"Mei'er, I have a gift for you, but you have to promise not to ask any questions," he said, looking deep into her eyes.
Li Mei looked a bit startled for a few seconds.
She stopped moving and looked at her lover.

Huang Shi saw the look of concern in the eyes of his lover.
He could see that she was worried about him, but he also knew that she had already accepted whatever changes had happened to him.
This gave him an immense amount of relief. He felt like a weight had been lifted off his back.
It's good that I no longer have to worry about Mei'er, Huang Shi thought to himself. I can act a bit more freely now.
Huang Shi then asked Li Mei to rest for a bit.
He told her to close her eyes and relax while he was apparently trying to find the best kind of gift for her.
Huang Shi then shifted his attention back to the system.
In his mind, he asked it to materialize the wheel of fortune. He watched as the air began to shake and glow.
The wheel of fortune appeared in front of him.
It was a majestic display of sparks and lights. It was very bright and beautiful, like it held the secrets of the universe itself.
The wheel was covered in symbols and hummed with power.
After thinking for a couple of moments, Huang Shi finally grabbed a hold of the wheel.
He reached out his hand and gave it a strong spin, as hard as he could.

The wheel began to turn very fast. As the wheel started to spin, a large amount of stuff started to pass him by.
He saw many items and treasures, giving him glimpses of possible rewards like magic swords and glowing pills.
The wheel made a loud clicking sound as it blurred.
However, the wheel never stopped and he trusted that it would give his woman the best possible reward that she needed at the moment.
Come on, Come on, give me something good, he prayed.
After a couple more seconds of spinning, the wheel finally slowed down and stopped. A loud sound rang through his head, giving a clear announcement of his reward.

As more and more time passed, the purple light became thick. Li Mei was eventually surrounded by a huge purple cocoon with golden outlines.
It was like a giant egg made of light.
It was clear that this thing was meant to serve as a way to protect her during her transformation. It wrapped around her to keep her safe while her body changed.
