Scene One: The Need for Rest
After finishing his last confrontation, Haru stood still for a moment. His axe was in his hand, yet his heart felt heavy. The purple sky above him was calm, and a gentle breeze brushed across his face. He felt it clearly—both his body and soul needed rest.
"I… need to calm down for a while," he said quietly, looking at Joceka and Narka.
Joceka smiled softly. "Come with me. There's a place here… a place that will remind you that you're alive, not just fighting."
Narka nodded with quiet seriousness. "You need this. Rest itself… is also a form of strength."
Haru gave a small smile and followed them.
Scene Two: The Lake of Mirrors
The first place they reached was a vast lake, its surface perfectly still like a mirror, reflecting the purple sky and the stars above. The breeze was incredibly light, creating gentle ripples across the water, while the soft sound of droplets filled the air.
Haru sat at the shore, removed his shoes, and dipped his feet into the cold water. The breeze passed over his face, carrying a faint scent of violet flowers. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"This… feels so good," he whispered. "This breeze… makes me feel like everything will be okay."
Joceka sat beside him, while Narka stood a few steps away, watching silently.
Scene Three: The Forest of Sleeping Lights
They walked onward and arrived at a strange forest. Tall trees stretched upward, their leaves glowing in shades of violet and gold. The light did not come from the sun, but from within the trees themselves, as if sleeping lights were gently breathing. The air was pure and cool, and the breeze stirred the leaves with a soft, whispering sound.
Haru reached out and touched one of the leaves. It was incredibly smooth, releasing a small spray of glowing particles. He let out a quiet laugh.
"This place… feels like a dream," he said.
Narka replied calmly, "It isn't a dream. It's a part of you. The part that longs for peace."
Joceka gathered a small orb of light from the air and let it flutter around Haru like a butterfly. Haru tried to catch it, but it slipped away, making all three of them laugh.
Scene Four: The Hill of Gentle Winds
They climbed a high hill. From the top, the view stretched endlessly—violet clouds reaching as far as the eye could see. The breeze remained soft and steady, moving Haru's hair and his green jacket.
Haru sat on a stone, opened his hands, and let the wind pass between his fingers. He closed his eyes and took a long, deep breath.
"I… love this breeze. I love this calm. It makes me feel… real."
Joceka sat beside him. "This is what you needed. Not everything is about fighting. Sometimes… rest is the truest form of strength."
Narka stood behind them, gazing toward the horizon. "This calm will help you face what's coming. The organization… and other threats."
Haru opened his eyes and smiled with clarity and peace.
"I know. But for now… I'm here. And that's enough."
Scene Five: A Moment of Reflection
Beneath a large tree in a small valley, Haru lay down on the soft grass. The breeze was warm and gentle, and the rustling leaves sounded like a quiet lullaby. He closed his eyes and reflected on everything he had been through: the kindness others mocked, the future dreams that saved lives, the monsters he understood and redeemed, Narka's transformation, and Joceka's return.
"I'm… not alone," he whispered to himself. "Even if the path is hard… I'm not alone."
Joceka and Narka sat beside him in silence. They didn't need to speak—their presence was enough.
End of Chapter 18
(In the distance, a faint sound began to approach… but Haru was now at peace, ready for whatever comes next.)
