Inside the celestial Tower of providence, in a specific hidden section in a multilayered independent pocket dimension that avoided all prying eyes,the goddess of inheritance and bloodlines, Aurelia awoke from her divine throne for the first time in a million years. She had just finished a session of babbling about with divination arts, planning her next moves with deliberation in order to exact her revenge.
"Melon." She called out softy,her eyes regaining a glimmer of halo that washed the entire destitute throne room.
A round shadowy sphere appeared before her,spots of white and crimson revolving around it. Her shadowy figure contrasted the divine halo perfectly, complementing each other just as the goddess willed it so.
"My lady." She bowed enthusiasticly. " Are you done dabbling in divination arts?" She asked as she woke from her bow,her body transforming to take the form of a 14 year old Loli. " Your seclusion took so long...do you know how bored I was! Hopefully we are ready for the next phase of the plan. That hatefull villain is already leading a crusade to the Wild continent, trying to strengthen his firmament again by taking advantage of the maturation procces of the Albera realm." She complained with a spoilt expression. Clearly, the two of them were old friends apart from their master servant relationship.
"Okay, okay, off with that expression. The Celestial Tower of providence won't allow any sovereign level cultivator to step foot in the wild continent before it matures. Right now there is a bigger issue to address. Let's walk in the gardens."
The two teleported, appearing in a lavish garden. Stone paths were craved with great architecture. Trimmed bushes on both sides filled with berry bushes and other divine fruit.
"Tell me what's been happening in the outer universe. I am quite curious what became of the million or so systems we released all those years ago."
"Did my lady get revelations from the divination?"
" Oh Yes, and it's most curious." Melon stood with interest,nodding with eyes that insinuated she continues.
"The Celestial Tower of providence granted a mortal my given name." The goddess dropped the bombshell. Melon's big eyes dilated,her aura unleashed unintentionally as anger and jealousy oozed from her eyes. What did it mean for a mortal to be given the name of a God realm being ? It meant that the two were connected by karma. Meaning that if the goddess perishes or loses her divinity, the mortal will die. More importantly and more likely to occur that the latter insinuation, would be for the mortal to die. Although the mortal's death would not cause the goddess to outright perish,this action would greatly affect the goddess's divinity. Causing her enemies to take advantage of this fact to attack her.
That could not be tolerated. Especially when Melon was around.
"Oh calm down melon. What's with that face? Also, be conscious of my garden with your little tantrum."
"Who is it? Why would the Celestial Tower of providence do such a thing? Isn't it supposed to be neutral?" Melon asked as her aura settled down.
"The host of one of your sovereign ranked systems in the outer universe. System model #57672332....."
Melon took notes, considering that there were over a million system in the outer universe,it was one long number. She then waved her hands in the air.
Upfront,an elf clad in what seemed like administrative midevial clothing appeared. Seeing the goddess next to his superior,the elf hurriedly knelt on one knee. Reverence gleeming from his eyes.
"Look into this System. System model #57672332....678..89.Make it quick. Don't keep the goddess waiting, Chop! chop!"
The elf disappeared with another wave of Melon. After a few seconds, he reappeared with a scroll in his hand. He fell to one knew again and opened the scroll,letting out a divine halo as it was unsealed.
"Reporting to the goddess. The system: Territory Expansion with my Harem system in presently in the hands of a Norlan...."
The elf stopped mid sentence. Startled by the name he saw on the scroll. He looked at Melon as if asking for permission. He most certainly did not want to offend his goddess.
" Go on, don't keep he Lady waiting." Melon instructed. Her face cute even as she scowled.
The elf proceeded. " In the hands of a Norlan Aurelius Grimblade. The system is operating in a blue planet designated with the name Earth. The territory of the goddess Mother Nature. One of the last few million planets in the outer universe scheduled for assimilation on Albera by the Celestial Tower of providence.
The previous owner of the system was a Titus Grimblade. The ancestor of the present owner. Titus Grimblade is now the current system spirit after the last system spirit perished due to forceful alleviation on realm via Titus's instruction.
The system functionality was 11.2% when it first bonded the current host Norlan Aurelius Grimblade. However, due to the interference of an Expression that had malicious intent towards the host. System protocol protected the host with 10% functionality as the price. The host was still injured even after system intervention.
Currently, the system is providing the healing function powered by the breath of the world essence of the goddess,Mother nature."
The elf stopped, carefully folding the scroll with meticulousness befitting his post. He then bowed an then teleported away with a wave of menon's hand.
"Melon, invite our friend Norlan for a chat. Use the breath of the world to summon him. There is no need to waste our resources when we can take advantage of other's. You may also summon that system spirit. Tell it to guide Norlan to me. I will not accept no for an answer."
Melon nodded, teleporting to make preparations as instructed.

Back on Earth, in a specific country,town and hospital ward, Norlan was loosing his mind with hysteria as the system used breath of the world to facilitate his recovery. His eyes were glued to his system interface while his body was levitating in the air.
From his system interface, Norlan could swear that he saw his stats rising with every pop and crackling sound his flesh and bones made during his healing process. Lucky, there was no pain. Norlan guest that the system had somehow drugged him, or maybe it was the effect of the breath of the world.
But the absence of pain didn't mean that the process was seamless. He could feel his mind getting cloudy,getting intoxicated by every passing minute. It was due to this feeling that overwhelmed him that he was not affected by the loud popping sound that reverberated in his ears,or the infinite loop of vision that filled his entire view.
Amidst this derision and intoxication, a Ding sound etched in his mind. Norlan couldn't care less, overtaken by the Euphoric sensation all over his body and soul.

Norlan looked at the new quest with bated breath,his mind still groogy and cloudy. Instinctively, he wanted to accept immediately. Reason however was holding him back, little as it was.
"What did I even do to attract such attention? Like, I've been literally been in the hospital since I got this fucking system!"
"System, is this your doing? Do you mind explaining?" The system did not respond and Norlan still couldn't care less.
'Whenever you are faced with a decision,had you find yourself high as fuck,do not ignore that voice of reason.'
His inner self muttered by his ear.
'what should I do? Should I really be going to chat with a fucking goddess in my situation? Hell no! If she really wants to talk to me, I'll take a raincheck.' He reasoned,his finger extending to press No.
However,there is no such thing as taking a raincheck when summoned by a goddess. The decline option was just there for decorum. There was no such thing as No.
Poof !
Norlan vanished.
