Kirk got home from Mr. Adjetey's office, tired as usual. Abruptly, he heard a voice of a female cry bitterly. He assumed it was fromth next door, besides, Uncle Ato won't stop arguing with Aunty Yaa. But hey, something felt as if it was coming from his residence. He continued to move to the living room and to his astonishment, and image of his Father abusing his Mother stood in front of him. Enraged with fierce anger, Kirk stepped up and confidently stood before his Father. "Are you that shameless, you abuse your wife and even your son?", Kirk angrily asked."Is that so", Agnes asked in sobber."Yes, he even had intimacy with me". Kirk said. "Look at you, what can you possibly do". Lenard asked in laughter."You can't do anything, you are and will always be a weak leaned boy". Lenard added. "No more". Kirk said as he grabbed his mother by the hand and sent her into their car. Kirk surprisingly started driving with ease as if it was a hobby. Lenard also took his car and drove right after them with the motive of pursuing them. Kirk drove swiftly but fast in order to lose Lenard. The chase was really intense. It made people wonder" What in Fast and Furious is going on here". After a long trail of intense chase, Lenard crossed Kirk, at that moment, Agnes began to cry. Lenard walked towards the car and grabbed both of them by the head to his car. "Go to hell", Kirk said. Lenard looked back and said " And I'll meet you there". "I think you're going there alone". An unknown voice informed. Lenard turned and saw Mr. Kyei, their neighbour. He was the Senior Inspector of the state police in Accra." You're under arrest for domestic abuse and violence." Mr. Kyei said. Kirk asked , "How did you get here". "I followed your Father as he pursued you and Agnes. I've also seen and heard your Mother endure the ill treatment of this monster of a man. Boys, take this man where he's supposed to be " Kyei ordered. "You have no evidence ". Lenard said, " The case will be rendered an absurd judgement ". Lenard added. Mr Kyei reluctantly took his phone from his pocket and showed Lenard a video of him brutally hurting Agnes. Lenard looked speechless. "Evidence huh". Kyei asked as Agnes gave a serves you right yell. Lenard's head was carefully lowered into the police car rendering Kirk a free life. His burden was lifted and he celebrated this joy greatly with Dela.
