Chapter 1 - little princess Rory

Not affected by the usual weather condition here in the Gaelic colony, I stood on the not- so- high hill where I used to play with my mom- Queen Alasdair, Inhaling every peace that came with the weather and the beautiful scenery.

Matter of fact, there is always peace in the palace. I can't even imagine otherwise when there's Dad - King cillian Ailbhe, his most beautiful and capable wife- Queen Alasdair, the most of all, my partner in crime, my 19 year old sister, princess Blàthnaid (meaning flower in Irish). Giving that she's 4 years older than I am, we do all the stupid things together... from touring the whole of Laighin and beyond together, to going places that are forbidden to princesses, and going hunting for treasure that we never even find, well we actually found a stone near the countryside river once ...it looked shiny and different,we really didn't even know much about it but we kept it anyway. Most of the time getting caught and punished and then ending up getting a 3 hour long lecture from mom. I can't imagine life without my sister...well I guess she can't imagine life without me too.

I had just finished dinner at the large dinning almost located in the middle of the chambers. With my mom and sister, my dad has not been around for days now, the annual ceremony to assign new district leaders came up faster than expected. He is king anyway, of course he had to be there.

Dinner was peaceful, as usual. Small talks and giggles, while eating-etiquette played a thousand times in our heads. The royal kitchen probably got their monthly bonus, as dinner was almost unusually too top notch today. Foods designed too beautifully on the silver and gold plates spread across the dinning table like they wanted to remain untouched.

After dinner, my sister went for her usual training at the field with the chief guard -Aiden. Learning archery for self defense, my mom went for some Queen's business, while I'm here filled with luxury food and a known satisfaction, missing my sister already. Normally after dinner like this, we would come here together talking plans and layouts of our next adventures, or probably gossiping about other princesses, chuckling and giggling like we could never imagine a life otherwise. But now, I'm alone at least for now, and honestly, I think I actually needed this space to clear my head and reminisce everything that has happened in my life.

Only when I thought I was alone, some familiar footsteps started approaching. Of course it was fionn. The chief royal Cook's son and also training to be a king's guard. Even though he sometimes leaves the palace on different occasions, it seems to me like he never leaves the palace. Always pestering around and finding a way to personally annoy me with his presence.
