Lin Meiyin decided not to wake the little star up so she decided to finish a short novel. It soon got dark and Shen Rui woke up and looked across the room, Lin Meiyin was there typing something on her laptop.
Shen Rui nods and goes to meet her, Lin Meiyin looks at Shen Rui seeing that she was awake and smiled.
"I fell asleep Auntie now I missed lessons"said Shen Rui with an innocent look scratching her hair.
"It's okay you must be hungry now, come I bought some food"said Lin Meiyin.
Shen Rui starts eating and Lin Meiyin wipes her mouth with a napkin, when Shen Rui was done eating, Lin Meiyin gave her, her coat and then she walked outside the building.
Master Bo was standing outside and Lin Meiyin walked over to him.
"I'll see you tomorrow Rui Rui"said Lin Meiyin ruffling her hair, but Shen Rui held unto Lin Meiyin's pants with sad eyes.
"Grandpa I like Auntie can she be my mommy I want to stay with her"said Shen Rui with pitiful eyes.
Grandpa looked at Lin Meiyin and then little Rui who held Lin Meiyin's leg tighter.
He sighed, "This is my little gift to you, well you're supposed to give me a grandchild but I turned out to be giving you one"said Master Bo.
"What !!! But I haven't even thought about having a child yet"said Lin Meiyin.
"Auntie I promise I won't be a burden to you,Rui Rui 's a good girl"said Shen Rui tugging at Lin Meiyin's pants.
Lin Meiyin sighed this little star was something else, "Okay fine"said Lin Meiyin.
"What am I going to tell Chenyu?"she said to Master Bo.
"Well you're married so you'll figure that out"he said getting into his car and driving off. Lin Meiyin watched the car speed off and she looked at Shen Rui who's eyes were red, "Okay let's take you home"she said, taking her to Lanwan Villa.
Shen Rui's eyes widened as she looked at the villa before her, "Welcome home"said Lin Meiyin with a smile.
"Mommy do you live here?" She asked.
Lin Meiyin was very surprised hearing the little one came her mommy, she had adapted to her new life so quickly.
"Yes, I live here and it's your home now"said Lin Meiyin holding her hand and she walks into Lanwan Villa.
"Welcome back Mrs Lu"said Auntie Chu, Lin Meiyin takes off her shoes and puts on her slippers.
"Rui Rui say hello to Auntie Chu she'll be like your grandma"said Lin Meiyin with a smile.
"Um really Mommy I have a Grandma now, hello Grandma Chu I'm Rui Rui"said Shen Rui with a smile and giving Auntie Chu a respectful bow.
Auntie Chu was confused for a moment does the young madam have a child, when did she have a child this big.
"Um hello dearie your very sweet"she said to Rui Rui as she gets herself back.
"Where's Chenyu?"Lin Meiyin asked Auntie Chu.
"Master Lu is in the garden"Auntie Chu replied.
"You're back home late"said Gu Chenyu walking into the living room with a cold face.
Shen Rui immediately hid behind Lin Meiyin and showing only her round little head.
"Mommy who is that?, that Uncle is very scary"she said.
Gu Chenyu's eyebrows form the word Chuan. Did he hear right MOMMY!!
Who is the child?
Lin Meiyin smiles and drags Shen Rui from behind, making her stand in front of her.
"Don't mind him, your Daddy can be a little scary sometimes but he's very sweet " said Lin Meiyin.
DADDY!! Gu Chenyu didn't seem to catch or remember having a one night stand with Lin Meiyin years back.
Lin Meiyin starts laughing "Chenyu this is Shen Rui Master Bo adopted her for us"said Lin Meiyin.
"Rui Rui say hello to Daddy"said Lin Meiyin, pushing Shen Rui forward who was very shy and scared. Gu Chenyu stood there looking at the little thing who couldn't even look at him. She turns back to Lin Meiyin.
"Mommy, Uncle-Daddy doesn't like me"she said.
"How come I didn't know about this?"he says to Lin Meiyin.
"It's....
"Uncle please don't be mad at Mommy, it's not Mommy's fault it's my fault I told Mommy to take me with her, I promise Uncle I won't cause any trouble "said Shen Rui with a pitiful look. Gu Chenyu didn't know what to say and he looked down at the little girl who was a bit thin her head looked a bit too big for her non petite body to carry. All of a sudden he half kneels before Rui Rui and ruffles her with a little smile, "Call me Daddy"he said.
Shen Rui looked up and she saw that all the scariness had disappeared.
"So Uncle- Daddy wants me to stay?"she asked.
"It's your home now"said Gu Chenyu his hand was still on her little head.
"Thank you Daddy "she said smiling back and hugging him.
"Auntie Chu will take you to your room"said Gu Chenyu signaling Auntie Chu to take Shen Rui upstairs.
Once Shen Rui was taken upstairs Lin Meiyin sighs "I just couldn't say no to the little one she really seemed attracted to me, Master Bo adopted her and he wanted me to be train her but she started clinging unto me and didn't want to go home with Master Bo "said Lin Meiyin still explaining when Gu Chenyu pulls her into a deep hug, resting his chin on her shoulder.
"Please don't be mad"said Lin Meiyin.
"I don't care about that I just miss you" he said taking in her scent.
"It's just one day"said Lin Meiyin
"It feels like years come on wifey" he said, his eyes filled with interest and then he sweeps her into his arms and takes her upstairs.
"Chenyu what are you doing?"she said.
"I need to hold my wife" he said to her taking her to her room.
