Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

I smiled as I stared down at the school tour guide in my hands. I had to look for my lecture room first, which was a little bit further from here. Okay, let's go find it.

When I reached the faculty building, I gawked at it for some minutes before going in, I opened the glass door that lead to the hallway and walked in, the hallway was neat and and was a pretty sight, I smiled as I saw some students rushing to their classes, this would also be me in a few days. Lectures for the freshers haven't started yet, we still had a lot of introductions to do. After turning to another side of the hallway, I saw Gabriella ahead with two other girls.

Here goes nothing.

I kept walking, their voice got louder as I got closer, they were discussing about something I definitely didn't want to know about.

Just as I was about to reach them, someone bumped into me.

"I'm sorry!" The girl apologized as she picked up her books from the ground."

"It's okay." It wasn't that much of a hit anyways.

"Still. I should have watched where I was going." The girl insisted, finally packing up her books and standing to face me. She had strikingly light blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Her smile was bright as the sun, literally.

"It's okay really." I assured. Still in a trance.

Her eyes traveled to the book I was holding in my hands and she smiled again. "I guess we'll be seeing each other a lot more often."

"What?." I was confused.

Then she nodded towards the book in my hands. "You're studying fashion too right?. First year?" She asked.

"Yeah..." Then I looked at her hands and realized she was holding the same tour book as mine. I smiled sheepishly as the realization came too late.

"So I'll see you then?." She said and waved. "Bye."

"Bye." I waved back as she began to walk away. "Oh wait you didn't tell me your..." But she was already gone. "....name."

I sighed as I realized I might have just missed an opportunity to have a great friend, she really looked like a nice person. What if we actually never cross paths like she said, it's a big school. Anyways, what's done is done, I shrugged as I continued my journey to my sister and her friends.

"Hi." I waved at them with a smile.

The blonde one who didn't notice me at first stopped talking to look at me, then her eyes widened.

"you have a twin sister?! " she asked Gabriella.

"Yes. " Gabriella gritted out with a deep scowl on her face.

I knew she always hated it when her friends at highschool saw me, so here I am, digging my own hole.

"That is so cool, I love twins." she exclaimed.

Well... she's a weird one.

"Hi I'm Anna, this is Tess." she said pointing to the other girl beside her, Tess had a deep set of brown eyes and long raven hair that framed her pretty face.

She wore a black long sleeve turtle neck blouse and a brown leather jacket over it, with ripped black skinny jeans and black heel boots. She looked really cool.

While Anna on the other hand was wearing a white turtleneck blouse with a pink jacket & mini skirt with cute sandals.

Someone wasn't feeling so cold.

"My name is Rosaline, Rose for short." I said with a smile.

"Oh my gosh you're so cute. " Anna smiled.

"We literally look the same. " Gabriella scoffed.

"You're not a brunette though. " Anna said, rolling her eyes.

"Let's go to the basketball court to meet with the Dean or we're going to be late." Tess spoke up for the first time, she had a blank look on her face, she only glanced at me for a second before walking away with Anna hot on her heels. I don't think Tessa really likes me much...

My face scrunched up in disgust and I turned to look at Gabriella who was still standing there, glaring at me.

Why was she still standing there?.

"Why are you still standing there? " she snapped.

I was about to ask the same thing!

What was that called again?. Twins Telepathy!.

"I was wondering if we could walk together to the court to meet principal Linda. ". I replied

"Oh really ?" She scoffed.

"Look here, clone face, there is no we walking together. And you see Anna and Tess, those are my friends. Now, it's better for you to go look for your friends and don't even think about making friends with my friends cause it's not gonna work. I'll make sure of it. "

She said and walked away.

I sighed and adjusted my back bag, before walking, trudging a few steps behind her, maintaining a safe distance.

Gabriella never liked me, she's been like that ever since we were young. She'd always told Robert back then that she didn't like me, which I thought was really childish.

But now, many years later, she's still like that, but then I thought it had to be something else, not just what she used to rant about while we were younger. It had to be.

I should have probably gotten used to it, but I couldn't help but feel sad everytime I thought about having a twin sister but not being able to have the twin bond with her, I thought she would change, but we've came so far and she hasn't changed one bit.

But I still had hope. I hoped that one day, we would be able to look at each other with love and understanding that would only stay inbetween us, that we would have our own special bond. That my sister would finally grow enough to put the past behind her, that everything would change and she'd stop looking at me with hatred in her eyes. That one day, it'll be us against the world.
