Chapter 7 - CH7: Uncomfortable!

"This is absolutely absurd!! You broke the stamina test machine, the vitality test machine, the endurance test machine and even the damn Pain Giver!!! The only readable data I got was from the durability test machine! Hahaha! And let me tell you, Jack! Plasma rounds might just feel like a little burn now!!" At first, it seemed like Dr. Mishtval was livid but the crazed smile on her lips said other wise.

".... Thanks?" I said uneasily, watching the doctor pace back and forth in front of me.

"No! Thank you! Be all edge lord or whatever you want but you are literally the perfect specimen! The perfect patient! A living! Breathing! Magnum opus! Of genetic disparities! I'm going to make super soldiers from you!" Grabbing my chest plate, Dr. Mishtval pulled me down with a strength the belied her body and spoke with gleaming stars in her eyes.

"Again... thanks?" I gave her an awkward smile, not sure how to feel about this.

"Ugh! So damn gloomy. Bah! I really don't care." Dr. Mishtval groaned and let go of my chest piece, scoffing as she waved a dismissive hand.

She walked away and grabbed a camera with a tripod, setting it up in the direction of a chair. Afterwards, she grabbed a small device with a bunch of wires sticking out of it that ended in little clips. She pulled a drawer open from her desk and grabbed a bunch of white dots with little metal bars on one side. Pulling off a white film on one side, she began sticking the white dots to her face and neck.

She hooked the wires to them and then attached the little device to her belt around her waist. She then grabbed a foldable table and placed it in front of the chair after unfolding it. Grabbing what looked like a childs puzzle game, she sat it on the table. Going back to her desk once more, Dr. Mishtval grabbed a folded piece of paper and brought it to me. With a curious frown, I opened it up as she began speaking.

"In a moment, I'm going to hit record on that camera. When I give you a nod, you will use that weird hypnosis power and make me do those actions in order. We've already tested your telekinesis earlier so now its time for the other psionic abilities." Dr. Mishtval instructed and I gave me her a slow nod.

"What?" She asked, noticing the weird look on my face.

"Are you sure about... well, this?" I asked, pointing at the paper.

"Yes." Dr. Mishtval said blandly before turning around.

I let out a reluctant sigh as she hit record on the camera. Soon, she stood in one spot and gave me a firm nod. I squinted my eyes slightly, creating a string of mental energy that moved through the air from my forehead to her own. It was completely invisible to the eye but I could feel it like a part of me. Dr. Mishtval's expression went slack as her eyes grew dull.

I gave one more sigh before I began playing with her like a puppet. I made her do a series of physical activities, run around the chair a few times and even do a few flips in the air before somersaults in different directions. Controlling her was far easier than I expected and I felt that controlling a human was easier than controlling a Daviirn as well. That is what my intuition told me.

Afterwards, I made her sit down and got through the puzzle several times. Each time started with a different shape and ended with a different shape. Once I had gone through all the combinations, I used telekinesis to put them in place before making her do the puzzle but in reverse. All of this took a good hour and soon, we came to the most uncomfortable part.

I made Dr. Mishtval stand in front of the camera and begin groping her breasts. Then her shoulders, sides, hips, thighs and legs. Next came making her grope her own ass and it was then that I started feeling a bit of mental resistance. Finally, I made her stick her hands into her pants before beginning to masterbate. The whole process felt uncomfortable and the mental resistance grew by the moment.

The objective was to bring her to orgasm but with the very uncomfortable feeling and the growing resistance, my hold over her mind soon snapped. I grunted in pain as I took a step back, a bit of blood leaking from my right nostril. Dr. Mishtval blinked a few times before blushing softly. After wiping her hand on her pants and making herself look decent, she glance over.

"You okay?" Dr. Mishtval asked with a raised brow, seeing my bloody nose.

"Yeah. Just incredibly uncomfortable." I nodded with an annoyed look, wiping the blood from my nose.

Dr. Mishtval gave a nodded before walking over and ending the recording on the camera. She brought it over to her desk and began looking at her tablet again. I watched as she nodded to herself, mumbled curiously and even gasped a few times with a shocked look. The she reviewed the camera footage. Within a few minutes, a big grin split her face.

"Come look at this." She urged me over, not looking away from the small screen.

I walked over and looked at the screen, watching her do a bunch of physical activities that I made her do. Yet, there was a faint blue string in the air, connected to her forehead.

"You see that blue string?" Dr. Mishtval asked and I nodded.

"Now take a look at this." She urged while fast fowarding the footage.

She brought it to the part where I was making her mess with the puzzle. Slowly, the blue string turned green before becoming light green.

"And this." She smirked, fast fowarding it again.

She let it resume at the point where I made her touch her body. At first, the string turned pink before becoming hot pink. By the time she was grabbing her own ass, the string began turning red. By the end, it was a deep red before just... vanishing as she blinked at the camera.

"Cameras can and will catch phenomenon that we can't perceive. What is happening here is the camera catching the mental connection and how it reacts to your commands. When doing simple movement task that take little thought, the string remains blue. Green for intelligence. Pink for arousal. And red for resistance." Dr. Mishtval explained with excitement.

"I need to test the implications of the various colors but if I'm correct, you could siphon one's emotions or memories using this mental connection. As long as you can 'percieve' the string and its state at that moment." Dr. Mishtval turned to me and gave me her assumptions with eyes full of excitement.

"That sounds.... scary." I shuddered.

"It is! However, it opens so many doors for you to use in combat or even interrogation. If I'm correct, that is. Anyways, lets move on. I need you to read my mind. I'll say a word in here and you need to repeat it back to me." Dr. Mishtval nodded energetically before moving on, tapping the side of her head.

"Alright." I nodded, taking a few steps back.

'Apple.' Dr. Mishtval thought.

"Apple." I repeated with the same tone even.

'Grey goose.' Dr. Mishtval thought curiously.

"Gray goose." I parroted in the same tone.

'Dick!' Dr. Mishtval thought lewdly with a big smile.

"No! Hell no! I'm not saying that, let alone in the same way!" I denied profusely with a frustrated look.

"Hahahaha! Relax. I'm just teasing you." Dr. Mishtval laughed before waving a hand dismissively at me with a sly grin.

'Mmm~. Colonel Losman is one hot hun-' Dr. Mishtval thought lewdly before I shivered, immediately cutting the connection as a forbidden image of my father began to form from her mind.

"No! Hell no! That's it for today! I am fucking done!" I growled at her while pointing a finger, spinning around the next moment.

"That is alright, I know I pushed you a bit far. Have a good day, my golden boy~!" Dr. Mishtval cackled evily before purring as she waved me off.

I grumbled inaudibly under my breath as I stormed out of the room. The door opened with a hiss and closed automatically, revealing me to a waiting room. Dad stood up from a chair, wearing black armor with red accents and holding a sleek helmet underneath his arm. Looking me over, dad pursed his lips as he studied my expression.

"I take it that Dr. Mishtval got a bit.... too excited?" Dad asked slowly.

"You don't even know half of it. Did you know that woman literally gets aroused by scientific discovery?" I ran a hand over my face before asking him incredulously.

"I knew about it but always thought it was some kind of metaphor." Dad shook his head.

"Well, I just became the crazy woman's most arousing toy. Let's leave before I hear more things that I don't want too." I shook my head before shuddering and urging dad to leave.

"So it was definitely uncomfortable." Dad nodded and stated the obvious.

"Yes." I growled as we walked through the strange clinic building.

"Well, I guess I should debrief you then. Here, slot this chip into your helmet." Dad shrugged as he walked with me, putting his helmet on before handing me a black chip.

I blinked a few times before grabbing the chip and placing it in my helmet. A transparent screen booted up before my eyes, allowing me to see the information without it blocking my view. The first thing that I saw was a bunch of electronical logs.

"From here on out, you will be a part of the Human Homeworld Resistance, or HHR for short. You've been give a special position, named Bridge Runner. From now on, you will be know as BR Losman or Bridge Runner Losman by fellow soldiers." Dad explained before my hud shifted to show that woman's full body image, making me clench my hands in anger.

"You have one main objective, build negotiations with the Daviirn people through War Officer Shal'ok Jasnta Hav'oolk. We have confirmed the identity of your Daviirn Mother." Dad spoke like my commanding officer, giving me a life long mission.

The hud shifted to show a front, side and back view of a massive humanoid mech. It was a war platform, having a sleek body with thrusters on its back and legs. While it could walk like a human, it had large tracks attached to the bottom of its feet. On its back was a large one-handed laser sword and a raised section on its left arm, a retractable shield. It also held a massive rifle that was basically a handheld auto cannon.

"We will be escorted by the White Tiger Mech Squad, comprising of 4 JM1's with elite pilots. We've already established communication with War Officer Hav'oolk but she made it very clear that she's part of the conservative faction in the Daviirn higher-ups. The only faction silently backed by their Empress." Dad explained as we exited the building, his voice now echoing directly through my helmet only.

"The other factions hate War Officer Hav'oolk's plans and will be trying to actively assassinate you, those close to you or the War Officer herself. The first two are far easier than the last as War Officer Hav'oolk is an elite among elites. She is no simple War Officer and it is likely that her threat level is higher than we think. So, keep your guard up and ready for sneaky attacks.

In otherwords, keep yourself alive at all cost, play nice with your Daviirn Mother and don't let your anger burn a bridge for humanities sake. Regardless of any on-going negotiations, we are still at war with the Daviirn Race. Keep your life held close and the secrets of humanity closer. Don't give them any vital information but keep them happy." Dad explained the rather volatile situation as we got into a heavily armored hover humvee, ending with a bit more key points.

"Got it." I nodded as I read through the several documents in my hud that shifted once I read them completely.

The vehicle hummed to life and the driver began moving down the road. Soon, we found ourselves on the surface and after 20 minutes of movement, 90 foot tall mechs appeared. One in front of the vehicle, one at the back and the other two at our sides. Dad and I remained silent most of the ride, having a bit of small talk here or there.

We had to stop several times as Daviirn War Bird's or War Lancers appeared, the mechs dealing with them decisively. War Lancers were a type of jet without hover capabilities. Each shot from their handheld auto cannons boomed with a explosion that shook the ground. At first, their wasn't many enemies to deal with but each wave got larger and larger. It got to a point where I had to bend the light around the transport vehicle to hide, letting our sole protector join the other three.

The constant travel and fighting made the trip far longer than it should have been, making us move throughout the night. By morning, we finally reached our destination. The once broken battlefield of an abandoned farm was now turned into a forward base, filled with Daviirn troops and defensive battery cannons. The mechs had a small stand off with the defensive cannons as we staying inside the vehicle.

"You ready?" Dad asked solemnly.

"To be extremely uncomfortable for humanities sake? No. But that is the thing about doing what's right, huh? Not all the time is it pleasant or what you want." I chuckled with a shake of my head before repeating his advice.

"That's my boy, come on." Dad said pridefully before stepping out of the vehicle.

I followed him out to see the imposing walls of the forward base, taking a moment to soak in the sight. It looked like a ancient palace with futuristic defenses, ready to take on the end of the galaxy. I stood next to dad as he crossed his arms, the front gates of the base were about 120 yards away from us. They opened slowly, ominously, like the doors to a vast throne. Two figures wearing War Officer armor with slight changes to the base design walked out with a another figure floating in the air between them majestically.

That figure wore golden armor, leaving her mid-section, back, lower arms and feet unprotected. Yet, it looked incredibly majestic and just as ominous. The female figure floated forth with two War Officers at her side, her long braid extending past her feet by a foot. It was twice the length as the War Officer's braids.

Both War Officers jumped nimbly, quickly covering the distance as they left behind the floating golden figure. It was almost like they were leaping in a zero gravity zone. The two War Officer's stopped about 30 feet away. I blinked and the golden figure was suddenly between them, hovering about 4 feet in the air. The mechs shift instantly, aiming their handheld autocannon rifles at that woman.

"Consalair Gara'sha... This is the last place I'd expect you to be." Dad spoke slowly, dropping his arms and standing with a posture that told me how wary he was.

'A Consalair... this just became more of a big deal than it was.' I thought grimly, becoming far more alert as well.
