Chapter 17 - CHAPTER :17(RE-UNITED)

(Sakthivel cuts off Nizharasan's head.)

Sakthivel: Finally, the shadow has disappeared.

Nagulan: Hmm... Sakthivel! Are you okay?

Devaguru: He is not Sakthivel.

Sakthivel: Yeah, you are right, Devaguru. I am not Sakthivel.

Indhiran: Did Nizharasan die?

Indhiran: Ohh... Sakthivel, are you alive?

Sakthivel: Ohh... Indhira, I am not Sakthivel. I am your death.

Indhiran: What?

Devaguru: Indhira, he is not Sakthivel.

Indhiran: Then... Ohhh. I think I have to go now.

Devaguru: Let's end this. Thank you for your help.

Sakthivel: Devaguru! Now you can save Indhiran, but not forever.

Devaguru: Yeah, I know.

Sakthivel: Okay, boys. Now I have one last thing to do for you.

Sagathevan: What are you getting ready for?

Sakthivel: Don't worry. This won't cause you that much pain.

(Then, Sakthivel absorbs the souls of the previous Devas from Nagulan and Sagathevan.)

Nagulan: Ohhh... Did you just take those souls?

Sakthivel: Yes. Now you have been freed.

Sagathevan: Ohh... Sakthivel. I don't know who you are now. Please give us our Sakthivel back.

Sakthivel: Ohh... Sorry, I forgot about that.

(Then, Sakthivel returns consciousness to his body.)

Sakthivel: Ohh... What just happened here? Am I still alive?

Nagulan: Yeah, you are still alive.

Sakthivel: Did Nizharasan die? Who killed him?

Sagathevan: You killed him.

Sakthivel: Me? No, I didn't. I was severely injured, and I lost my arm. I don't know how it was regenerated.

Nagulan: You mean it wasn't you. It was your inner version.

Sakthivel: My inner version?

Nagulan: Look, we also don't know what happened to you. Let's leave it here for now.

Devaguru: Sakthivel?

Sakthivel: Devaguru.

Devaguru: Now, you are all liberated from the souls of the previous Devas. I have taken those souls. You can go back to Earth now.

Sakthivel: Thank you, Devaguru. Okay, where is Devi?

Devaguru: Don't worry. Look up there.

(Everyone looks up.)

Devaguru: She has already been rescued by the Devas.

Sakthivel: Okay. Again, thank you, Devaguru. Also, I think you are hiding something from me.

Devaguru: Hmm... Yes. You will know about it soon.

Sakthivel: Looks like a warning! Okay, I'll take that.

Devaguru: Also, don't forget: not everything you see or feel is real.

Sakthivel: Okay.

Devaguru: Nagulan, Sagathevan, take care of yourselves and train your powers harder.

Sagathevan: Of course, we will. But before that, I have to see one person.

Sagathevan: Rambai.

Nagulan: Sagathevan?

Sagathevan: Okay, we can go.

Devaguru: Okay, bye...

(Devi regains consciousness.)

Devi: Where am I?

Sagathevan: Devi, are you alright?

Devi: Sagatheva?

Nagulan: You're safe.

Devi: Nagula?

Sakthivel: Hey, Devi! I risked my life to save you. You have to give me a treat.

Devi: Sakthivel?

Sakthivel: Also, I don't know how I defeated—

(Devi hugs Sakthivel.)

Devi: I thought you were dead.

Sakthivel: I won't die like that, because you know I'm an egoistic, psychotic villain.

(Sakthivel winks at her.)

Nagulan: Look, Devi, we also fought to save you. You have to thank us.

Devi: I... I... I...

Nagulan: No, no. That's a joke. We're a team. We have to protect each other.

Sagathevan: Yes, yes! I was the main reason you were saved.

Nagulan: Look, Sagathevan. That's not funny.

Sagathevan: Then, is the way you talk funny?

Nagulan: Ohhh... You want to fight with me?

Sagathevan: Don't ask again.

Sakthivel: Guys, stop.

(Devi smiles at them and hugs her team.)

Devi: Thank you, guys, for coming all this way to save me.

Nagulan and Sagathevan: Ohhh, don't thank us again.

Nagulan: Ahh... Jinx.

Sagathevan: Ahh... Jinx.

Sakthivel: Okay, we have to go now.

Sakthivel: Okay, Devaguru. We will meet again.

Devaguru: Yes.

Nagulan: Bye.

Sagathevan: Bye, Rambai.

Devaguru: I can see your future, Sakthivel. You will have to make some difficult choices.

(Then, Sakthivel, Nagulan, Sagathevan, and Devi return to Earth.)

Sakthivel: Okay, guys. I think you are all tired. Now, take some rest and meet here tonight for the success party.

Nagulan: Okay, bye.

Sakthivel: First, I have to call my grandpa.

(Sakthivel calls Elanguvan.)

Sakthivel: Ahh... Grandpa, it's me, Sakthivel. How are you?

Elanguvan: Where have you been for one year?

Sakthivel: Hmm... One year. Thank God! I thought it would be twenty years. Hmm... Nothing, Grandpa. That's a big story. I'll tell you later.

Elanguvan: Okay. Where are you?

Sakthivel: I'm at our office. Will you come to my house tonight?

Elanguvan: For what?

Sakthivel: I'll tell you when you come over. Okay, where is Manthagini?

Elanguvan: She is...

Sakthivel: She is...?

Elanguvan: Hmm...

Sakthivel: Grandpa, tell me. What happened to her?

Elanguvan: Nothing happened to her. She is in Canada.

Sakthivel: Canada? Why?

Elanguvan: Her dad has planned her marriage.

Sakthivel: What?

Elanguvan: Yes.

Sakthivel: Do you know her exact address?

Elanguvan: I know it, but how will you get there today?

Sakthivel: I'll take care of that. Send me the address.

Elanguvan: Okay.

(Everyone assembles at Sakthivel's house.)

Devi: Where did Sakthivel go? He still hasn't come.

(The door opens.)

Elanguvan: Hello, officers. Are you still alive?

Nagulan: Elanguvan, sir? How are you, sir?

Elanguvan: I'm fine. Hello, Devi. I think these three idiots saved you.

Devi: Yes, sir. Do you know where Sakthivel is?

Elanguvan: Hmm... He was...

(The door opens again.)

Ayavanth: Hello, folks! How are you?

Sagathevan: Ayavanth?

Elanguvan: So, this is the Ayavanth?

Nagulan: Yes, sir. How are you? And where have you been?

Ayavanth: I... Ohhh... Devi, how are you?

(Devi takes out her pistol and shoots directly at Ayavanth's left eye.)

Nagulan: Devi, what are you doing? Drop that gun!

Elanguvan: Drop the gun, Devi.

(Devi drops the gun.)

Ayavanth: Ouch... That was rude. Is this how you welcome your guests?

Devi: You are not my guest.

Elanguvan: See, I don't know what the problem is between you two.

Sagathevan: Sir... Psst... Come here.

Elanguvan: What is it, Sagatheva?

Sagathevan: Sir, Devi fell in love with Ayavanth.

Elanguvan: Oh... Love. Okay, I'll handle that.

Elanguvan: Ayavanth, why did you suddenly show up?

Ayavanth: I will explain everything in detail.

Ayavanth: When I defeated John Walker, I went to my planet to see my ancestors. Actually, they aren't really my ancestors. They are me, and I am them. But I also have emotions. That's why I left. I needed to change a lot of things on my planet, and that's why it took me so long to return.

Then, when I returned to Earth, I had only one thing in my mind: to mentor you people and save the Earth. That's all I wanted.

But while I was coming to Earth, I saw Naradhar, the son of Brahma. He told me everything that had happened in Devalokam.

Then I realized that, apart from my planet, there was someone on Earth who was worried about me.

So, I planned to stay here forever with that person.

Elanguvan: Wow! Sounds romantic. But you are a God. How will you live with a human? Is it possible for a God to do that?

Ayavanth: What do you think about Gods? We don't have any rules. Our only purpose is to protect the good.

Nagulan: Okay, who was that person?

Ayavanth: Hmm... That person is sitting right in front of me.

Sagathevan: Devi, he is talking about you.

Nagulan: Ahhh, finally! Ayavanth, you just saved me from love.

Ayavanth: You owe me.

Nagulan: Yeah, you're right.

Ayavanth: Okay, let's come to the point. Devi, will you marry me?

Elanguvan: Wow! A God proposing to a human. That's something new.

Nagulan: Okay, everyone, be silent.

Ayavanth: I will ask you again. Will you marry me?

Devi: Hmm... If it is possible to marry a God, then yes, I will.

Ayavanth: Yes!

(Ayavanth and Devi hug each other.)

Ayavanth: Okay, guys. I brought some drinks from my place.

Sagathevan: Hmm... Does it taste like Devalokam Amirtham?

Ayavanth: Better than that. Okay, let's enjoy!

Ayavanth: Hmm... Elanguvan, where are Sakthivel and Devi?

Devi: Yeah, I forgot. Where is Sakthivel?

Elanguvan: Ayavanth, you proposed to Devi, and Sakthivel has gone to propose to Manthagini.

---

At Canada

(Manthagini is sitting with her mother and the family of a man who has come to meet her for marriage.)

Lady 1: After marriage, will your daughter continue working?

Manthagini's Mom: No, no. She will not.

Lady 1: We like your daughter.

Manthagini's Mom: Ohh, thank you.

(Manthagini sits sadly.)

(Suddenly, the house begins to shake.)

Lady 2: What was that? Was that an earthquake?

(Then, Sakthivel enters the house.)

Sakthivel: Hello. I'm looking for Manthagini.

(Manthagini stands up.)

Sakthivel: Hmm... Hello, Manthagini. Hello, Manthagini's Mom. With your permission, may I talk to your daughter?

(Manthagini's mother thinks for a moment.)

Manthagini's Mom: Yes.

Sakthivel: Thank you.

(Looking at Manthagini.)

Sakthivel: Look, Manthagini. I don't know how to say this without sounding completely crazy.

Sakthivel: I tried convincing myself that I could be fine without you. I kept telling myself that I didn't need anyone, that I could handle everything on my own.

But every good thing that happens... you're the first person I want to tell. Every bad day... you're the person I look for.

And somewhere along the way, you stopped being just someone I cared about.

You became the person I can't imagine my life without.

Because loving you means giving you the power to hurt me. And honestly... that terrified me.

But I'm more afraid of losing you because I was too scared to tell you how I feel.

A man can hate himself, but he never hates a girl he once loved.

In dreams, you are mine, and in reality, you are my dream.

No matter how beautiful the moon is... a sunflower always keeps its eyes on the sun.

Sakthivel: Do you know the curse of love? It's the curse of never forgetting. I never forget you, even when I'm at the point of death.

So, here I am.

I love you. Not because you're perfect. Not because you make everything easy.

I love you because when I'm with you, I don't feel like I have to pretend to be someone else.

Manthagini: Then, where have you been all this time? And what do you want from me?

Sakthivel: I don't want you to promise me forever tonight.

I just want one chance.

A chance to choose you every day, and to let you choose me back.

Manthagini: You really mean that?

Sakthivel: More than I've ever meant anything... And I want to tell you one thing: you complete me.

Manthagini (crying): Shut up... just shut up!

Sakthivel: What...?

Manthagini: You had me at hello.

Sakthivel: Hmm... Is that a yes?

Manthagini: It's a "stop talking and kiss me."

(Sakthivel walks toward her, hugs Manthagini, and kisses her.)

Sakthivel: I promise you, I will never leave you again. And... will you marry me?

Manthagini: Yes.

Sakthivel: Manthagini's Mom, don't worry. I will protect her throughout my life. Will you give us your blessing?

Manthagini's Mom: Yes.

Manthagini: Thank you, Mom. But Dad...

Manthagini's Mom: I will talk to your dad. Are you happy?

Manthagini: Yes.

Manthagini's Mom: Now go to him.

Manthagini: Bye, Mom.

Manthagini: Sakthivel, how did you come to this place?

Sakthivel: By flight.

Manthagini: Which flight?

Sakthivel: Haha... Fire flight.

(Then, Sakthivel grabs Manthagini and flies with her to his house.)

---

At Sakthivel's House

Nagulan: I don't think Sakthivel will propose to her.

Sakthivel: Yes, I did, Nagula.

Devi: Sakthivel?

Manthagini: Devi?

Sakthivel: Ayavanth?

Sagathevan: Why are all of you shocked to see each other?

Ayavanth: Because it's a reunion after a long time. Isn't that right, Sakthivel?

Sakthivel: You're right, Ayavanth.

Elanguvan: Hello, Sakthivel. How are you?

Sakthivel: Sir...

Elanguvan: What?

Sakthivel: Everyone, I want to tell you something.

Nagulan: What?

Sakthivel: The big man, Elanguvan, is my grandfather.

Nagulan: What?!

Sagathevan: What?!

Devi: What?!

Ayavanth: Why is everyone shocked? That... Ohhh. Yes... What?!

Manthagini: I already knew that.

(Everyone starts talking among themselves.)

Nagulan: Sakthivel, look! The TV news says that an asteroid is going to hit Earth. What do we have to do now?

Sakthivel: We have to do something.

Ayavanth: Don't worry, guys. I'll take care of that.

(As Ayavanth gets ready to fly, something happens to Sakthivel.)

Sakthivel: What is happening to me?

Ayavanth: Oh my God...

Nagulan: What happened, Ayavanth?

Ayavanth: This is Aura Forming.

Sakthivel: So, this is Aura Forming?

Ayavanth: Have you practiced how to control this power?

Sakthivel: No. I don't know how.

(Then, Sakthivel starts to fly.)

Sakthivel: Okay, don't worry, Ayavanth. I'll take care of this.

(Sakthivel flies toward the asteroid and destroys it with a single hit.)

Manthagini: Is that really Sakthivel?

Sagathevan: You still have a lot to learn about him, Manthagini.

(After Sakthivel destroys the asteroid, some small pieces of it scatter in different directions.)

(Then, Ayavanth destroys all the remaining pieces of the asteroid using his Astra.)

(Sakthivel lands on the ground.)

Ayavanth: Wow, Sakthivel! You learned Aura Forming so quickly.

Sakthivel (giggling): Wow! Yes, I did.

---

Somewhere in Paathalalokam

Pavithrasura: Well, well, well... You really learned Aura Forming. That's impressive.

Now, get ready for the real fight.
