Chapter 76 - Azenzo "Destroyers" Jaze

Jaze Azenzo stood on the balcony of the Azenzo Clan's main tower as dawn washed over the city. The sky above Tokyo was fractured with faint dimensional scars left behind by recent disasters, thin lines of light stretching like wounds across the clouds. Wind brushed through his black coat, carrying the scent of smoke and broken stone from districts that had not yet recovered.

In his hand was a small communication orb. It pulsed softly, waiting.

He tapped it once.

A lazy, half-awake voice answered.

"What do you want this early, Jaze."

Jaze smiled faintly. "Morning, Father."

On the other end was Kurokuto Aizen, the former head of the Azenzo Clan and still one of the most powerful sorcerers in Japan, though he now spent most of his days sleeping, eating, or wandering around in slippers like a retired monk.

"You only call when something annoying is about to happen," Kurokuto said. "So get it over with."

"The war is escalating," Jaze said. "Tengen Orasu. Absolute Rank. Radiances falling. Cities gone. You already know."

"I know," Kurokuto said, yawning. "Hard to nap when the sky keeps shaking."

"I'm joining the front," Jaze said. "The Azenzo Clan will not stay neutral anymore. We will support the Master Groups and the students."

There was a pause.

Then a long sigh.

"Took you long enough," Kurokuto said. "I was wondering when my serious son would finally get bored of watching the world burn."

"So you agree."

"Of course I agree," Kurokuto replied. "If Tengen keeps tearing reality apart, even my nap schedule is in danger. That alone is unforgivable."

Jaze chuckled softly. "I will bring the Holy Landers with me."

"That's your call," Kurokuto said. "You are their leader now, not me."

"Then we move today."

"Don't die," Kurokuto said lazily. "I hate paperwork."

The orb went dark.

Jaze lowered his hand and looked out over the city. Beneath the calm surface of the morning, Japan was trembling. Beasts were multiplying. Sorcerers were being forced into endless battles. Entire schools had vanished. The balance of the world was tilting further every day.

The Azenzo Clan could no longer stand aside.

Within the hour, the clan gates opened.

Ten figures stepped out behind Jaze.

They were known as the Holy Landers, the top ten elites of the Azenzo Clan. Each one was chosen not just for power, but for discipline, loyalty, and combat instinct.

They wore long white coats marked with silver runes of density control, the signature of Azenzo techniques.

One of them spoke quietly. "So we finally go to war."

"Yes," Jaze said. "Against beasts, calamities, and anyone who threatens the future of this country."

The group moved through Tokyo with purpose, crossing ruined streets and cracked roads where barriers flickered weakly. Civilians were being evacuated in the distance. Low rank sorcerers fought skirmishes against beasts that slipped through dimensional tears.

Then the ground shook.

A roar echoed through a shattered plaza ahead.

From between collapsed buildings emerged a Rank 0 beast.

It was massive, shaped like a distorted horned beast, its body surrounded by unstable mana waves that crushed the air around it. Each step it took fractured the pavement.

One of the Holy Landers stiffened. "That thing alone could wipe out a district."

Jaze stepped forward calmly.

"Do not interfere," he said. "Observe."

The beast let out another roar and charged.

The air itself bent under its pressure.

Jaze did not move.

When the beast came within ten meters, he raised one hand.

"Density Magic. Compression Field."

The space in front of him suddenly felt heavy, as if gravity had multiplied dozens of times. The beast's charge slowed, its body sinking into invisible resistance. Its limbs struggled, unable to move forward.

Jaze closed his hand into a fist.

The compressed space tightened.

Not violently, but absolutely.

The beast was forced down, its massive frame pressed into the ground by overwhelming invisible weight. The plaza cracked beneath it, but there was no explosion, no mess, just raw force being applied evenly.

The Rank 0 beast tried to resist, mana surging wildly.

It failed.

With a final pulse of energy, its form destabilized and dispersed, leaving nothing but fading particles of light.

The entire battle had lasted seconds.

The Holy Landers stared.

"That was a Rank 0," one of them muttered. "And he erased it like it was nothing."

Jaze turned to them.

"This is why the Azenzo Clan exists," he said. "Density is the foundation of all matter. If you control density, you control the battlefield."

He looked toward the distant skyline, where dark clouds gathered over Tokyo.

"Tengen Orasu is tearing the structure of the world apart. Beasts are flooding in. The Master Groups are being overwhelmed."

He clenched his fist.

"So we will become a new pillar."

The Holy Landers nodded.

They did not cheer.

They did not celebrate.

They simply followed.

As Jaze Azenzo led his clan deeper into the ruined city, one truth became clear.

Another major power had entered the war.

And the balance of Japan was about to shift once again.
