Chapter 22 - Chapter 21The Toxic Truth at Dawn

When the soft morning light filtered through the window into Soha's room, her sleep slowly drifted away. As soon as she opened her eyes, she felt a strange sense of peace. She was wearing a very thin white nightdress, which clearly traced every curve of her body. Her body was relaxed from sleep, and her physical appeal radiated through the translucent fabric.

Soha got out of bed and walked with unsteady steps toward the balcony. As the cold morning breeze touched her skin, her heart felt light. She thought today was a new beginning in her life—the first morning of freedom from Adriq's captivity.

She gripped the balcony railing, looking at the distant mountains and taking a deep breath. At that very moment, without her knowing, a pair of strong hands wrapped around her from behind. Soha shuddered at the touch. That familiar dominance, that powerful physique—instantly, Soha's blood ran cold.

From behind, the man buried his hot lips into Soha's neck in a long kiss. Soha stood frozen. That touch, that scent... there was no doubt left in her mind as to who he was.

Soha (Whispering in a voice of disbelief): "Adriq...?"

Soha saw her reflection in the glass. Standing behind her was not the disguised servant boy, but Adriq himself. His eyes held that familiar demonic joy. Adriq leaned in and whispered again in that cold Russian language near her ear.

Adriq: "Did you really think, Soha, that I would tolerate someone else having rights over your body? Last night, the one you loved, the one you gave your all to—that was me. Every gasp, every 'ummm...' of yours—it was all for me alone."

Soha was stunned. Her face turned pale with shame and hatred. The very man she tried to use for revenge had used her instead, taking everything away. Soha realized how helpless she was before Adriq in this thin white dress.

Soha (In a trembling voice): "You... you could do this to me? You deceived me?"

Adriq gripped Soha's chin even harder and turned her toward him. A devilish smile played on his lips.

Adriq: "You deceived yourself, Soha. You thought you could forget me and touch someone else, but your body is useless without my touch. Now tell me, did this secret house save you from my hands?"

In the cold balcony air, Soha felt completely exposed and defeated. Adriq had destroyed her not just physically, but mentally, forever.

Adriq's voice and his demonic confession felt like poison in Soha's ears. She felt the ground slipping away from beneath her feet. The man she hated, whose touch she had fled from by hiding in this secret sanctuary—she had spent the entire night with him!

Soha covered her face with both hands and burst into sobbing tears. Her entire body burned with disgust and shame.

Soha (Breaking down in intense tears): "Disgusting! You are so low? Adriq, you are such a beast! I can't even imagine that I... with you... Ugh! I hate myself! This is so pathetic... I want to die, Adriq, I feel so deeply ashamed!"

Soha slid down against the balcony wall and sat on the floor. Her thin white nightdress now made her feel even more humiliated. She tried to huddle into herself, as if to hide from Adriq's gaze. But Adriq was not one to back down. He knelt before her and forcefully moved her hands away from her face.

Adriq (With a cruel laugh): "Shame? What is the use of shame now, Soha? You didn't feel ashamed last night when you were falling for my disguised persona. You were pulling me closer then. In truth, you didn't love me, you loved the primitive excitement I gave you."

Soha (Screaming): "Stop! Don't say another word! You cheated me. You are a coward!"

Adriq wiped her tears with his finger, but there was no mercy in the touch.

Adriq: "I am not the coward, Soha, you are. Because you cannot fight your own heart. This shame you feel is proof of your defeat. You cannot accept that even when Adriq is in disguise, your body only recognizes him. This secret house, your revenge—it's all under my feet today."

Soha sat motionless like a stone. All her pride, all her plans turned to dust in this single morning light. She knew she could never erase this stain of shame. Adriq hadn't just insulted her body; he had insulted her soul.

While Soha was breaking down and hating herself, Adriq grew even more aggressive and predatory. Without a word, he gripped her chin firmly and sank his lips into hers in a frenzied lip kiss.

Soha tried to resist at first. She pushed against his chest, her mind screaming— "No, this is wrong!" But the pressure of Adriq's muscular body and the deep touch of his lips shattered her defenses in an instant.

In that long and deep kiss, a bolt of electricity shot through every vein in Soha's body. Her hatred began to slowly transform into a primitive excitement. Soha couldn't do it anymore. Even if she wanted to push him away, her own body began to betray her.

Soha (To herself): "I hate him... I want to kill him... but why is my body acting like this? Why am I getting even more excited?"

As the excitement crossed all limits, Soha unknowingly clawed at the hair on the back of Adriq's neck. Tears were still falling from her eyes, but her lips were responding to his kiss even more deeply. Soha's body began to tremble beneath the thin white nightdress.

Adriq realized Soha had surrendered. In the middle of the kiss, he whispered in her ear—

Adriq: "See, Soha? Your shame, your hatred—it's all insignificant compared to a single touch of mine. No matter how much you deny it, you are addicted to this toxic obsession of mine."

Soha was so disoriented with excitement that only faint moans escaped her mouth. She could no longer protest; instead, she began to lose herself in the dark depths of Adriq's embrace. All her plans and her stubbornness were defeated by this one deep kiss.

As Soha trembled with excitement and was clouded by the intoxication of his kiss, Adriq suddenly scooped her up in his arms. Her thin white nightdress fluttered in the morning breeze as her limp body pressed against his powerful chest.

Adriq carried her back toward the bed—the same bed where, a few hours ago, Soha had surrendered everything to him thinking he was a "handsome stranger."

Soha (In a voice heavy with lethargy): "No Adriq... let go... I hate you..."

But there was no strength in her voice. Adriq laid her on the bed and leaned over her with his heavy frame. He looked into her eyes with a cunning smile.

Adriq: "Keep your hatred in your mind, Soha, but your body tells a different story. Look how you thirst for my touch."

Adriq took possession of her lips once again. This time there was no disguise, no lie—Soha knew exactly who she was with. Adriq's hands began to establish their dominance over every curve of her body. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't pull away. That primitive excitement of her body turned all her conscience and shame to dust.

Soha gripped the bedsheet tightly once more. Tears were flowing uncontrollably from her eyes, but her body was responding frantically to every strike and touch from Adriq. She realized she was trapped in a labyrinth created by him from which there was no escape.

Outside, the sun grew brighter, and inside the room, Adriq was reclaiming his "property" all over again. Soha lost her sense of self in shame; she could only feel Adriq's monstrous love and her own ultimate defeat.
