Amaru says "Shall we begin with the first lesson? Hirata Alex and Haruto Okabe "
Hirata says "yes of course, but first we have a lot of questions to ask."
Amaru responds "That is the first lesson! Which is an explanation of the questions that you are probably going to ask."
Hirata and Haruto nod.
Amaru says "So, first I must say that Hirata Alex possesses power from the Branch of Language or in other words Speech of Form, and Haruto from the Branch of Ritual or in other words it is called the Action of Form though almost nobody actually calls it that."
Haruto responds in shock "M-me? I possess powers? That is impossible! I could have known immediately."
Hirata and Haruto whisper "Speech of Form and Action of Form?"
Amaru "Though I have to mention there are three branches of power in the wold! Which are the ones I told you and the third one is called the Branch of Silence or in other words The Absence of Form."
Hirata shouts out of shock "SILENCE? Haruto did not you?-"
Then Haruto looks at Hirata with an empty expression.
He gets interrupted by Amaru "No interruptions! Let me continue."
Amaru Continues "As Hirata Alex had shown us earlier, the power of the Branch of Language can shape or change the form of something, and it could be used for many purposes ranging from daily life implementations to combat."
Hirata whispers "Interesting."
Amaru Continues explaining "So Hirata, what you experienced on june 10th 2025, your first awakening of the power that you possess, you are fortunate to have left the classroom unscathed. I will explain the important rules to the Branch of Language."
Amaru explains "The Branch of Language or others calls it Speech of Form. It is a power that imposes grammatical and phonological structure directly onto reality. The more precise the structure, the stronger the effect. Yes I know it might sound complicated but in other words you can manipulate any object or even part of the world itself."
Hirata "It is exactly like what Haruto told me, so it was really true."
Amaru Continues "But of course this power is a double edged sword, and it has conditions! If you fail to meet these conditions, you will have to pay a price and this price could be your life."
Hirata "It is exactly as you said Haruto!"
Amaru Continues "Also one important thing to note that is this power only works on something that exists, you can't just use this power out of nowhere. Let's take what happened on june 10th as an example. You accidentally read an old example of something that does not exist physically, that is why you experienced that error."
Hirata and Haruto "Now that makes sense, no wonder it was all just sheer pressure."
So let's say you want to use the Speech of Form to facilitate your daily life tasks, you have to use it on an actual existing object, you can't just summon something out of nothing."
Amaru Continues "Which means you have to be very very careful using this power! Any error in pronunciation, punctuation, and even grammar will be considered an error, which will be against you, of course with great power comes great risk."
Hirata speaking while reflecting "I see, had I not spoken correctly back then, what would have happened, I wonder."
Amaru "There is also something very important to know about this Branch! No one is equal, meaning some individual have a limit to the amount of times they can use this power and the access of the older versions of texts or language."
Hirata and Haruto "WHAT?"
Amaru looks at them and continues "What I mean is someone may have the power of this Branch, but the oldest form of English for example is middle English, they can't use old English and before, that is their limit and this limit can't be changed unless they meet some conditions."
Hirata "Conditions? What are these Conditions?"
Amaru "This matter is complicated, I will definitely tell you about it in future lessons though now is not the time for it."
Hirata "Oh... I see please continue."
Amaru "Hirata, I see the oldest English version you have used so far is Old English, I wonder if you have access to Indo-European and Proto-germanic languages, though I would consider using them now FATAL and suicidal, you can't use these until your powers have matured."
Amaru adds "And yes, even the possessors of this Branch of powers are not always the same, not only power-wise but ability-wise as well; some users of this Branch can be attackers/offenders, some can be support or tanks, and others can be healers, and some even can more than one role or all of them."
Hirata "Wow, that is interesting! I wonder my role is..."
Amaru "Though it is still early to judge, I can see that you are an attacker for now, can't tell anymore beyond this."
Hirata "I see."
Amaru says "Now that's it for today Hirata! Now it is your turn, Haruto."
Haruto replies confused "M-me? But I possess no powers? What are you talking about?"
Amaru "I see, you either did not notice anything or were vaguely aware."
Haruto "Vaguely aware? What do you mean?"
Amaru answers "You unconsciously awakened your powers, meaning you have always inherited it, it was just a matter of time until you awaken it."
Haruto "Can you elaborate?"
Amaru answers "Of course! Long story short, you possess power from Branch of Ritual or in other words the Action of Form."
Haruto confused "Action of Form? But how? But I thought I was –"
Amaru interrupts "So you already had suspicions, I see... I believe it would be trustworthy of you to tell Hirata Alex and me your story, that might greatly improve our synergy."
Haruto "I guess I have no other choice... Hirata, I am truly so sorry for not telling you."
Hirata answers "No no! It is totally okay! I told you you can tell me when it is the right time! Please do not overthink it."
Haruto "Now is the time, Hirata as well as Amaru."
Haruto "it all started about 7 years ago, December 1 2018..."
