Boom!
Dust exploded outward, swallowing the battlefield in a choking cloud.
Yao's eyes widened as a figure was hurled out of the smoke and slammed hard onto the ground beside her.
You foolish guy… she thought.
"Wang Fang!" she shouted, shock flashing across her face. "That blast hit you head-on! That's impossible. you're only at the Body Tempering Realm. You should be dead!"
Wang Fang coughed as he pushed himself upright, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Didn't you see?" he said, forcing a strained grin. "I used a talisman.
A talisman?" Yao snapped. "Do you even understand how powerful that attack was?!"
Only then did Wang Fang feel it clearly a dull, burning pain spreading through his chest, deep and relentless.
Internal injury…
His expression darkened. I need to get home as soon as possible.
His gaze flicked toward Yao.
Should I just run? he wondered. She's much stronger than me.
His fingers slowly curled into fists.
No.
If I run now, I'm a coward.
Besides… she could've escaped earlier and left me to die, but she didn't.
Yao's sharp eyes swept across the battlefield. "The other Ironhide Boar is already weakened. It can barely stand."
She turned to Wang Fang. "If you can hold that one off for two minutes, I can prepare my ultimate attack."
Wang Fang took a deep breath and nodded.
"I'll try."
He stepped forward to face the remaining Ironhide Boar. Its iron-like hide was cracked and stained with blood, yet its murderous gaze remained fierce.
Slowly, Wang Fang tightened his fists.
At once, Qi began to circulate violently within his body.
He exhaled sharply.
Qi surged through his meridians, sank into his bones, rushed through his blood, and hardened his flesh. Heat spread across his arms, his skin faintly glowing red as his strength was forcibly pushed beyond its limits.
Yao's eyes narrowed in surprise.
Interesting…
Once he breaks through this realm, he'll be terrifying.
Which sect is he from? I'll ask later.
In an instant, Wang Fang charged.
The ground cracked beneath his feet as he rushed straight toward the Ironhide Boar. His flaming fist smashed into the beast's shoulder, heat and force exploding outward.
The Ironhide Boar bellowed in rage and swung its massive head sideways. Its tusk crashed into Wang Fang's ribs.
Pain tore through his side.
But Wang Fang gritted his teeth and did not retreat.
He struck again.
Punch after punch rained down, each blow heavier than the last. The beast tried to counterattack, but Wang Fang twisted his body at the final moment, narrowly dodging the strike.
He leapt backward onto a nearby tree, kicked off the trunk with explosive force, and shot forward like a cannonball.
I have to do this! he thought.
With his hands clenched tight, he drove a powerful punch straight into the beast's head. The Ironhide Boar staggered, its vision spinning.
Wang Fang gasped for breath.
I'm at my limit…
Suddenly, Yao's voice rang out.
"Move."
She stepped forward, her Qi erupting like a blazing furnace.
"Nine Sun Burning Palm!"
Golden light burst from her hand. Wang Fang stared in awe as nine blazing palm shadows appeared behind her radiant, overwhelming, and filled with scorching heat.
What a beautiful palm technique… he thought.
"Boy, get out of the way!" Yao shouted.
The first palm descended like a falling boulder.
The Ironhide Boar crossed its tusks desperately to defend itself.
Second.
Third.
Fourth.
Fifth.
Sixth.
The beast still struggled, its body trembling under the assault.
"It's useless," Yao said coldly. "You'll die today."
Seventh.
Eighth.
"NINTH!
The nine blazing palms merged into a single overwhelming force.
Boom!
The Ironhide Boar was smashed into the ground. As the golden light faded, its massive body collapsed, completely shattered and lifeless.
Wang Fang stood nearby, breathing heavily, pain throbbing in his side
—but still standing.
Yao lowered her hand, her expression calm and composed.
That, she said coolly,is how you fight
