Chapter 23 - Another Day in the Mahna

We finished lunch, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It really was good, I thought.

Before lunch, I had told everyone, "Today's work is done. You're all free to do as you like."

Everyone took a rest in their rooms, including me. Mac was lying near me, and I stretched out, opening the system.

I glanced at the top-right corner of the system and clicked on the Top-Up button.

150 Silver (or 1,500 Bronze) converted into 15,000 points!

Satisfied, I closed the system with a soft click and leaned back, letting myself rest for a moment.

Later in the afternoon, Hasami gathered everyone in my room, smiling softly.

"Let's explore the village properly. We won't be staying here for long," she said.

Everyone perked up. Moneru grinned playfully. "That's a good idea! Let's do it!"

Arim didn't speak, but he nodded. Mac's face lit up with excitement, a playful smile spreading across his features.

Roberto, sitting quietly, said in his usual expressionless tone, "I'll stay in the inn. My old bones need rest."

Moneru looked at me. "What about you, Loid?"

I smiled. "It's a great idea. We've got money, so let's enjoy ourselves and celebrate our profits."

Roberto stood, preparing to leave. "Then, as it's decided, I'll return to my room to rest."

I couldn't resist a playful grin. "Oh, and let's take Grandma Liza with us—she knows every corner of the village."

Roberto paused mid-step, looking back at me.

Hasami's lips curved in a little smile. "I'll ask Aunt Liza about it. Then let's head downstairs."

Roberto finally muttered slowly, "Hmm… a short walk isn't bad for my body. I'll come along too."

Moneru crossed her arms, annoyed. "Hah… didn't you say you wouldn't go?"

Roberto's face remained expressionless. "Now I'm saying I will."

I couldn't help but think with a little smirk, Got him again.

We went downstairs and asked Miss Liza to guide us. She agreed, leading us across the village—rivers, canals, farmland—and introducing us to villagers along the way.

Everyone bought small items: clothes, sweets, accessories. Roberto even gifted Aunt Liza a trinket, trying to charm her throughout the tour.

Night fell, and the market glimmered under lanterns. We grabbed small street meals, laughing and enjoying ourselves. Afterwards, we returned to the inn.

Miss Liza went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, with Hasami helping her, while the rest of us waited at the dining table, chatting quietly.

Dinner was delicious. We ate heartily, talking among ourselves. Afterward, we went to our rooms to sleep. Mac, beside me, pulled out a doll and cuddled it. I can't believe he bought a doll… I thought, thinking Arim and Moneru had bought one too.

Before sleep, I opened the system and carefully purchased the items I'd planned:

Bordeaux Mixture ×25 → 9 points each → 225 points

Pyrethrum Powder ×25 → 7 points each → 175 points

Nicotine Spray ×25 → 10 points each → 250 points

Lime Sulfur Spray ×25 → 8 points each → 200 points

Manual Pump Sprayer ×25 → 14 points each → 350 points

Compost System ×25 → 12 points each → 300 points

Legume Rotation Guide ×25 → 9 points each → 225 points

Seed Selection Kit ×25 → 10 points each → 250 points

Mulching Materials ×25 → 7 points each → 175 points

Bone Meal ×25 → 5 points each → 125 points

TOTAL POINTS SPENT: 2,505POINTS REMAINING: 12,495

I carefully stored everything in the item bag and finally drifted to sleep.

Morning came. After a hearty breakfast, I called everyone into my room for a meeting. I laid out all the items from the item bag and explained each product's purpose, price, and usage to Roberto and Hasami, who would be helping sell them.

Soon, we loaded the cart. Miss Liza peeked over.

"What are you selling today?" she asked.

Roberto spoke gently, "We have items to help your gardens and crops thrive."

Once that was settled, we headed out to the village market in the cart.

In the market, we laid out all the items on top of the cloth. Just like I had instructed Moneru, Arim and Mac were calling out to customers, drawing their attention to our products.

Soon, a crowd gathered in front of us, intrigued by all the goods.

Roberto and I explained each item one by one, making sure everyone knew what they were looking at. Hasami assisted by showing the products and helping the villagers understand how to use them.

"Bordeaux Mixture—protects plants from fungus."

"Pyrethrum Powder—natural insect repellent."

"Nicotine Spray—for stubborn bugs."

"Lime Sulfur Spray—prevents tree diseases."

The villagers murmured, impressed but curious.

I lifted the Manual Pump Sprayer. "Easy to use. ."

Pointing to Compost kits, Seed Selection, and Mulching materials, I said, "These help soil stay fertile and crops grow better."

A boy asked, "And Bone Meal?"

"Adds nutrients naturally," Roberto explained.

The villagers nodded and began picking up items.

"How much for a bottle of Bordeaux Mixture?" a villager asked.

"5 Bronze coins," Hasami replied simply. "Affordable and very effective."

Questions kept coming, and we explained each item briefly. Hasami helped show the products to villagers. Mac, Moneru, and Arim managed the crowd.

By midday, most items were sold. The villagers left chatting happily, satisfied with their purchases.

We continued selling the product...
