Chapter 27: Aizen's Observations in Karakura Town

As soon as this plan was revealed, Ichigo Kurosaki wasn't the only one stunned; the others froze, taking a long moment to barely keep up with Mo Yu's logic.

Uryu Ishida's mouth twitched as he adjusted his glasses. "Wait... Unifying the Three Worlds? 'Follow me and prosper, oppose me and perish'? Are you sure this plan is actually meant to save the world?"

The others nodded in agreement. Clearly, this plan exceeded their psychological endurance. After all, in an RPG, a hero doesn't save the world by first backhanding the King into oblivion, conquering the nation, and then cackling while shouting slogans about absolute submission.

That was the furthest thing from being a "Hero" possible. If you said it was a Demon King in disguise, it would actually make more sense.

Mo Yu clicked his tongue. "You're all still too young. Let me explain. First, it's confirmed that the crisis we face isn't an external one, like a Demon King wanting to swallow the world. It's an internal structural collapse—a natural disaster of irresistible force. Imagine a biscuit falling to the floor, and in a super slow-motion shot, it shatters frame by frame. Trying to glue the biscuit back together is a thankless, impossible task. The best way is to gather what's left of your belongings and get out. As the saying goes: A tree dies when moved, but a man thrives."

"But escaping isn't something you can just do whenever you feel like it. You need preparation in every aspect—massive resources, manpower, and a matching collective will for total mobilization. These things won't fall from the sky. You have to fight for them. For example, to transform the Three Worlds into an Ark, we need the Soul King's body. That thing is the most vital 'Linchpin' of the entire Three Worlds, suppressed deep within the Soul King Palace. If you plan to get it through a speech full of 'love and justice,' the Nobles and the Gotei 13 will invite you to the guillotine before you finish your first sentence. And even if you did talk your way into getting it, the Quincies of the Wandenreich (Hidden Empire) wouldn't let you off..."

Uryu froze. "Wait... What do you mean by the Quincies of the Hidden Empire?"

Mo Yu glanced at Uryu, remembering this guy still thought he was the "last" Quincy. He explained casually: "It's normal for a half-baked Quincy like you not to know, but your secretive father probably does. The Hidden Empire is the Quincy stronghold where the Quincy King, Yhwach, is slumbering. He's likely due to wake up soon. Yhwach is the son of the Soul King and views the Soul Society's suppression of his father's body as an extreme humiliation. He won't tolerate anyone else making a move on it."

Uryu's expression turned chaotic, while Ichigo fell into a heavy silence, his eyes flickering. Clearly, his heart was far from calm.

Even with Mo Yu's rough description, Ichigo knew the hardships ahead. To truly walk this path, he might really need to defeat the entire world.

Mo Yu continued: "So, Ichigo, this is the time to test your Purity. Anyone can waver, but not you. If you walk this path, 'Good' and 'Evil' no longer concern you, because you carry a much heavier grand ambition. You must struggle, and you must win. And you must win again and again, leading those who believe in you toward the Promised Land flowing with milk and honey..."

"If you don't know how to do it, learn from your seniors! Back in the day, after Moses received peerless martial arts from God, he faced the Egyptian Gods blocking his path. He put on a powerhouse face and shouted lines like 'Die if you block me!' and 'I want to fight ten!' Then, with peerless Purity, he unleashed the Ten Plagues Divine Fist, crushing mountains and parting the sea. He blasted every Egyptian God in his way—none could last a single round. That's how he led the slaves out of Egypt. Think of your senior's majestic powerhouse stance and learn a thing or two..."

Ichigo finally broke. "Hey! Observer! Stop talking nonsense! Even if I'm not religious, I know the story of Exodus! God didn't teach martial arts, and Moses didn't have a 'powerhouse face'!"

"Oh, you don't like that story? I'll tell you another one. In the Warring States period of the far East, a man was born with back muscles so massive they formed the character for 'Virtue'. He traveled through the nations, fighting countless enemies. His Purity broke through multiple times as he created a peerless martial art called The Analects of the Iron Fist. People respectfully called him Kongzi (Confucius). His favorite saying was 'The Master does not speak of strange powers and chaotic spirits,' which meant he didn't want to talk—he just wanted to use 'strange power' to beat people into mental confusion. His second favorite saying was 'Since you have come, take your rest,' meaning: Since you've come before me, be buried here..."

Faced with Mo Yu's storytelling, Ichigo was forced into the role of the straight-man. "Your 'Kongzi' is too terrifying! Do you think I don't know the story of the Sage, Confucius?!"

Regardless, after Mo Yu's two "high-purity" stories, Ichigo's expression looked much more normal. At this point, Urahara spoke up:

"I'll interrupt your bickering to get back to the point. Lord God, I am very interested in this plan. However, I think we should discuss the specific implementation and technical details..."

Mo Yu readily agreed. This "Movie Edition" plan wasn't just a whim, but it was currently only a framework. He began discussing it with Urahara on the spot to refine it.

There were disputes during the discussion. The biggest one was that Urahara didn't agree with the idea of Ichigo "toppling the entire world." Regardless of whether it was possible, he felt that negotiation and alliance were better alternatives than such extreme measures.

Compared to subversive destruction and reconstruction, Urahara favored "mending and patching."

To this, Mo Yu only smiled and didn't say much. Even if Urahara was the smartest man in the Three Worlds, as a native, he had cognitive limitations. He didn't know that the karma stretching from the creation of the world had reached its expiration date. Ichigo was destined to be the man to sever this ancient cycle; it was his Heavenly Mandate.

Of course, there wasn't only one way to fulfill that mandate. The original plot was the "gentle" route—not many died, but the problems weren't fully solved either, leaving plenty of room for a sequel.

Given the choice, Mo Yu favored a more radical approach to solve the structural contradictions of the Bleach world once and for all. The reason was simple: the worldview and contradictions Tite Kubo created were a reflection of the Japanese Imperial system. Among web novel authors, few would agree with that system; if given the chance to act, they generally preferred "Thunderous Methods" (overwhelming force).

But Mo Yu didn't bother explaining this to Urahara.

Saving the world isn't a day's work. Once the plan was discussed, everyone got busy. Urahara took charge of monitoring the Void Belt and providing data and intelligence support, while also acting as a middleman to contact his old connections in the Soul Society to seek opportunities for an alliance. The others went home to eat and wash up, waiting for Mo Yu to coordinate their next tasks.

Back home, Ichigo said quietly, "Observer. Uncle Urahara really doesn't agree with your plan."

"I know. After all, starting a crisis that affects the Three Worlds just to save them seems unreliable to him. However, being inside the board, there are many things he doesn't know. Or rather, he's still holding onto a sense of wishful thinking. It's only human nature, and I don't mind. Even if you fail in the end, it doesn't affect me much..."

Mo Yu had a good mindset. As a 3D God, he didn't need to care about the gain or loss of a single World Bubble.

Ichigo asked, "Then what do you want to do next?"

Mo Yu replied casually, "It's not about what I want to do. What do you want to do, Ichigo?"

Some time had passed since he learned of the crisis. Ichigo had asked himself the same question over and over. Now, the answer was surfacing. Ichigo's gaze turned firm:

"As you said, the weak question why the world is the way it is, while the strong describe how it should be. I can't tell whose view is more correct, yours or Uncle Urahara's. But rather than waiting passively, I want to take action. I want to do the things only I can do. Observer... will you help me?"

Mo Yu's lips curled into a smile. "Good look in your eyes. Purity is still a bit off, but you've got enough fire. I'll give you a hand. The core of the plan is obtaining the Soul King's body. To do that, you need a way to reach the Soul King Palace. These are things you need to prepare for. But before that, my advice is: you need to unite all the forces that can be united..."

Ichigo took a deep breath and nodded resolutely.

Mo Yu said meaningfully, "Good. The first target to unite is a man named Sosuke Aizen. Try to make friends with him. You'll find it... pleasant."

High noon in Karakura Town. The sun was blazing. Aizen walked the streets, observing the city and its martial artists with interest.

The World of the Living was no stranger to him, but these suddenly appearing martial artists intrigued him. Yesterday, having Byakuya beside him made investigation inconvenient, so today Aizen had found an excuse to come out alone.

There were many martial artists in town, filling every street and alley. Their clothes were tattered, their expressions lethal. They ignored ordinary people, immersed in their own world of hard training.

As the King of Hueco Mundo who commanded countless Menos, Aizen easily sensed that these martial artists were just Hollows in human skin. Although he didn't know why their disguise was so perfect—as if they truly possessed flesh and blood—their essence was clear to him.

As he observed, Aizen grew puzzled. If they still had the essence of Hollows, why did they ignore mortals? Had the greedy hunger to devour everything vanished along with their disguise?

The answer soon revealed itself. Two martial artists crossed paths by accident. No words, no communication—just an instant clash of gazes, and the battle began.

"Keke! Let me see your Purity! If it is low and weak, then die! The world of fighting has no need for trash, dammit!!!"

"Nonsense! You shouldn't provoke dragons or tigers, and you certainly shouldn't provoke me! Because my Purity is absolutely above yours! Today, I shall grind you into dust, dammit!!!"

The two fought without hesitation, like two beasts seeing red—wild and unrestrained. Their eyes held only each other, their "Battle Qi" burning like actual flames.

After watching for a short while, Aizen understood clearly: the hunger and desire for destruction hadn't vanished; they had simply changed form. They no longer craved human souls; they craved the Purity of another martial artist, for the latter was sweeter and more powerful.

Having solved one mystery, Aizen fell into another. He was confused why their speech was so similar—arrogant dialogue filled with strange catchphrases and "vocal cues" (like dammit or mouth-gap sounds), with tones so high they required triple exclamation marks. Was this the price of becoming a martial artist?

But Aizen conceded one thing: those catchphrases, paired with that arrogant delivery, did sound remarkably "Strong and Powerful."

Although these two were at a level Aizen could one-shot by the dozen, their constant stream of dramatic dialogue made for a good comedy show. He paused to watch, and as he did, he gained an unexpected discovery.

One fighter, beginning to lose ground, suddenly roared:

"If I were the me from yesterday, I would surely lose! But after witnessing that Earth-Shattering Duel, I have realized the meaning of true strength from Lord Fisher of the Heavenly Tyrant Fist! BURN, MY PURITY! SUBLIMATE TO THE LIMIT! AS THE PRICE, I SUMMON 1% ABSOLUTE REALM OUTPUT: DIAMOND INDESTRUCTIBLE BODY! APPEAR, AHHHHHH!!!"

To Aizen's surprise, the roaring fighter's muscles swelled violently. His aura spiked, and as if possessed by a god, his previously crude martial arts became sharp and precise. Reishi light wrapped around his hands as he unleashed a barrage of iron fists, each strike like a landslide, lethal and peerless.

It was a near-total transformation. But the shock for Aizen didn't end there. Seeing this, the other fighter ripped off his shirt with an arrogant laugh, revealing a tattoo on his back. Aizen found the tattoo quite familiar:

"Hahaha! Do you think you're the only one who learned something from that duel? Wrong! My Purity has risen too! Behold the technique I learned from the Strongest Creature on Earth! BURN, MY PURITY! 1% ABSOLUTE REALM OUTPUT: REISHI WAR GOD ICHIGO KUROSAKI! COME FORTH AND DEFEAT THE ENEMY, AHHHHHH...!"

The laughing fighter erupted with brilliant Reishi. The tattoo of Ichigo Kurosaki on his back suddenly detached from his skin, turning into a slightly illusory Reishi projection that charged forward, delivering a high-speed "Ora-Ora" barrage to the enemy.
