Chapter 65 - Chapter 53: FOG AND IT?

The sea was a strange, restless thing—a turbulent wave of calmness that suddenly twisted into a dark, violent storm. As the Whitebeard Pirates led the way, the Marine ship followed close behind, and everyone noticed how the bright sky had vanished. In its place were clouds so black and heavy they seemed ready to unleash a world-ending thunderstorm.

Strange currents took hold of the water. Instead of crashing in every direction, the sea began to move in a single, powerful flow, as if the ocean itself was a giant hand pulling every ship toward one specific point. Because of this, the vessels sailed faster than ever, slicing through the dark water until they passed a massive, black mountain that pierced through the very clouds.

"That is Shishano Island," Garp muttered, his eyes fixed on the peak.

Every student and teacher looked at it in silence. The mountain didn't just look cold; it radiated an actual feeling of bloodlust. They could feel a monstrous hunger for blood and flesh coming from the shadows of that rock. Even as they sailed past it, the feeling didn't leave them—it felt like a dark omen sticking to their skin.

Soon, the ships were pulled into a thick, white fog that covered the sea like a heavy silk veil falling from the black clouds.

"Hey, Newgate!" Garp shouted toward the Moby Dick. "What is with this fog? Is this really the place?"

Whitebeard stood tall at the front of his ship, his voice a deep rumble. "Don't worry, Garp. This fog exists to keep something away... something that should not be discussed. Just follow me through this thickness, and you will see what you have all been looking for."

Zephyr gripped the railing, his eyes narrowed. "A fog this thick, just to hide a single island..."

Shakky, leaning back and blowing a cloud of smoke into the mist, smiled faintly. "Finally, we are here to witness the so-called Adam."

The Contrast of Hearts

On the deck, the 18-year-old boys were buzzing with energy. Luffy, Kid, Bakugo, and the others felt their adrenaline surging. They wanted to see it—the legendary island where a power was hidden, a place where they could test their strength.

But among the girls, the atmosphere was much heavier. They were serious, and beneath that seriousness, they were scared.

Nami turned to Nico Robin, her voice soft. "Are you alright, Robin?"

Robin didn't look away from the mist. "I'm alright, Nami. Everything has come to this point. There is no turning back now."

Nejire, floating slightly above the deck, looked at Vivi. "What about you, Vivi?"

"I want to see it," Vivi replied, her hand over her heart. "I want to finish what I have started."

Kiku looked at Shirahoshi, who was trembling slightly. "Are you ready, Princess?"

"I am ready," Shirahoshi whispered, her voice gaining strength. "If it really is the 'Adam' we know, then I must find the answers myself."

Camie asked Hiyori, "And you?"

"From the start, I asked my father and mother to let me go," Hiyori said, her hand tight on her katana. "I was always ready to risk my life for this."

Viola tried to use her Glare-Glare powers, but even her eyes couldn't pierce the mysterious fog. "I want to see if the ancient writings are true," she said to Ain, "even if it's only a small part of them."

Kaya looked at Rebecca, who was holding her sword hilt. "I also need an answer," Rebecca said firmly. "I need to finish this agreement for myself."

Then, all heads turned toward Boa Hancock. The Pirate Empress was clenching her fists so hard her knuckles were white. She was biting her lip with such force that a small trickle of blood began to flow down her chin.

Momo and Kendo stepped toward her, their faces full of worry. Hibari tried to be brave, saying, "There's no need to be scared!"

"Are you alright, Hancock?" Ibara asked gently.

Hancock lowered her head, her raven hair hiding her face. Her voice was a sharp, cold hiss. "I will face it... and I will destroy it myself."

The girls gasped. They had never heard Hancock speak like this. She didn't want to find something or learn something—she wanted to destroy it. What was "it"? Was it a person? An object? The question filled everyone's minds.

Bello Betty, keeping her expression calm and nonchalant, asked the final question. "And if you can't destroy it?"

Boa Hancock went silent. "I don't know..." she whispered, looking up at the black clouds where the fog didn't reach.

The entire ship fell into a deep, heavy silence. Then, the booming voice of Whitebeard cut through the air one last time.

"Are you all ready? WE ARE HERE!"

Suddenly, a blinding, white light exploded from the center of the fog. It enveloped both ships entirely. Every student and teacher had to cover their eyes, waiting for the stinging brightness to fade so they could finally see the world they had traveled so far to find.
