The air on the deck of the Marine battleship was thick with the scent of ozone and salt, but it was the clashing egos that made the atmosphere truly heavy.
"Shut up, pinecone!" Eustass Kid snarled, his voice grating like metal on metal. Magnetic waves pulsed around him, making the nearby hull groan. "You're nothing in front of my power. I am Eustass Kid, user of the Magnet-Magnet Fruit."
Katsuki Bakugo didn't flinch. He stepped into Kid's personal space, his palms popping with sharp, orange sparks. "What did you say, you red bug?" he spat. The two became locked in a murderous staring competition, a collision of red and blonde hair that looked ready to ignite the deck.
"Forget those two," a muffled voice cut through. Killer stepped forward, his masked face unreadable. Suddenly, his arm blurred; his hand elongated and shifted, twisting into a long, lethal black sickle blade. His other fingers followed suit, becoming jagged black hooks. "I am Killer. My fruit... gives me this."
Zoro's eyes sharpened into a predatory gaze. "Oh? A sword... that can cut life itself." Killer met that look with a cold nod. "Yeah. Just like yours." Zoro's lips curled into a dangerous grin. "Let's see about that later."
"You're next, Karasu," Sabo said, leaning back with a relaxed confidence. Karasu's voice rasped through his mechanical beak mask. "I am Karasu. I have the power of the Susu Susu no Mi. A Logia... I can transform into a murder of crows." His body flickered, black soot and feathers swirling around his silhouette.
Izuku Midoriya froze, his pen hovering over his notebook. "Logia... actual elemental transformation?" Ace and Sabo both chuckled, sparks and embers dancing off Ace's shoulders. "Of course. We're Logias too."
Shoto Todoroki watched the embers closely. "The ability to be untouchable... like Mirio-senpai's Permeation." "Wow! That's interesting!" Mirio Togata beamed, stepping up to show his massive biceps. "I guess I'll go next! I'm Mirio Togata. My Quirk is Permeation—it's like your Logia, but with a twist!"
The focus shifted to the younger Marines. Coby stepped forward, his posture straight and disciplined. "I am Coby. I've mastered the Marine's Six Powers and I'm concentrating on honing my Haki."
Beside him, Smoker let out a massive cloud of cigar smoke. "I am Smoker. As you can guess, my ability is smoke itself." Bakugo let out a harsh, mocking laugh. "Hah! Smoke? I fucking produce that in my palms every time I blast someone, Smokey!" Smoker didn't even look at him. "Can you turn into it, brat?" "What? You wanna fight?!" Bakugo barked.
Breaking the tension, a large, stout figure adjusted his wide-brimmed hat. "Kawamatsu the Kappa," he announced with a deep, resonant voice. "A Samurai of the waters from Wano!" Beside him, Trafalgar Law leaned against his nodachi, his grey eyes scanning the crowd with clinical coldness. "Trafalgar Law. Surgeon of Death. And the strongest one among you kiddos."
"What did you just say?!" the hot-blooded students yelled in unison, but Zoro just closed his eyes, ignoring the noise.
Tamaki Amajiki was hunched over, staring at the floorboards. "I... I can manifest what I eat..." "What?! Anything?!" Luffy's eyes turned into saucers. "Have you tried eating a big piece of meat? Is it tasty?" Tamaki didn't answer; he just wilted. Mirio patted his back. "Don't worry, he's just the shy type!"
Suddenly, a loud, mocking laugh came from Neito Monoma. "Ha! Your powers are nothing! I'll just copy them!" Sabo and Ace raised their eyebrows. "Copying? Have you ever tried copying a Devil Fruit?" Monoma just laughed mysteriously, leaving the question hanging. "Guesses?" "What a cliffhanger," Smoker muttered.
I'll go next, you can call me Fumikage Tokoyami, my quirk is Dark Shadow, and I'll go where the shadows call.
Karasu then said where the shadows call ?. I'm the darkness it self . I don't need to make a call.
Tokoyami and his shadow stares at karasu then said stop pretending to be a bird, you look murderer in that mask...
Ace laugh at the two birds....hahahahaha..
Yowww.. I am Yaorashi inasa, the one with the strongest spirit..yall hear that...while wind is whirling around him....
Everyone just nodded there head..look like it...
Ace said ohhh a wind ability...yeah we should team up sometimes said Sabo.
Then They all turned to the boy with the dual-colored hair. Shoto Todoroki stood calm amidst the chaos. "I am Shoto Todoroki. Power: half-cold, half-hot." "Weeeew!" the students whispered. "Two abilities in one?"
"Hah! You're amazed by that half-and-half extra?" Bakugo cut in, grinning wildly. "Listen up, extras! I'm Katsuki Bakugo. My power is to make you all explode!" "Shut up, you pinecone!" Kid yelled, still glaring. "What, red shit? You wanna go boom?"
Izuku was muttering to himself, his pen a blur. He noticed the eyes on him and jumped. "Oh! Sorry! Ahem. I am Izuku Midoriya. My Quirk is a power-based type and I am also honing my Haki." He went right back to writing.
Finally, they looked at the reindeer checking his bag. "Hey, your turn, Tanuki," Ace said. "What a meat..." Luffy drooled. Chopper snapped. He transformed instantly into his Heavy Point, a massive, muscular form that towered over the deck. "I'M NOT MEAT! I'M NOT A TANUKI! I'm Chopper, user of the Hito Hito no Mi! I'm your doctor, so treat me well and I'll treat you well!"
"Wow! So cool!" Luffy cheered.
The door swung open, revealing the man with the curly eyebrows. "What's with this mess?" "Just introductions," Sabo said. "Who are you?" "I'm Sanji Vinsmoke. One of the cooks on this ship for you freeloaders." "You again, Curly-brows?" Zoro growled. "What are you doing here?" "Hey, Moss-head! I'm looking for a room. Got a problem?"
As the two began to brawl, the others started to disperse. "I'm out, gotta prepare my things," Mirio said. "Count me in," Shoto and Izuku followed.
"Go! Go! Go!" Ace and Luffy shouted, laughing as they watched the chaos unfold on the deck.
----------
The girls' wing was a stark contrast to the explosive noise of the boys' side. Here, the air was filled with the scent of old parchment, sea salt, and a lingering trail of Belo Betty's cigarette smoke. The communal lounge was large, with plush chairs and a massive circular table where Nami and Nico Robin had already laid out their research.
Momo Yaoyorozu stood up first. She didn't just announce herself; she walked to the center of the lounge, acknowledging each girl with a respectful nod. "It seems we are to be the heart of this vanguard," she said softly. "I am Momo Yaoyorozu from UA. My Quirk is Creation. I can manifest objects from my own body. If we find ourselves lacking supplies in the New World, please do not hesitate to ask."
Robin looked up from a thick book, a faint smile on her lips. "A power that requires such immense knowledge... you must be a very dedicated student, Momo-san. I am Nico Robin. I deal in secrets and history."
Itsuka Kendo stepped forward next, bumping her fist against her palm. "I'm Itsuka Kendo, the class rep from UA's Class 3-B. My Quirk is Big Fist. I'm here to make sure we stay organized—and to knock some sense into the boys if they get too rowdy."
Nejire Hado didn't walk; she spiraled through the air, her long periwinkle hair swirling behind her. She drifted toward Kozuki Hiyori and poked at the air near her face. "Hey, hey! You're a Princess, right? Is your hair naturally that color, or is it the water in Wano? I'm Nejire! I use Wave Motion!"
Hiyori laughed behind her floral fan, her eyes crinkling. "It is the color of my lineage, Nejire-san. I am Kozuki Hiyori. It is an honor to meet such vibrant spirits." She turned to the tall, graceful woman beside her. "And this is Kiku. She is a future samurai of the Akazaya Nine. Her heart is as steel as her blade." Kiku gave a deep, formal bow, her height making even the tall Marine officers look up. "I shall protect this group with my life," Kiku added.
The atmosphere turned sharp as the Marines took their turn. Tashigi stepped forward, adjusting her glasses as she felt Kuina's gaze burning into her. The two looked so much alike it was as if a mirror had been brought into the room. "I am Tashigi. I specialize in the history of Meito blades. I hope we can all learn from one another."
Kuina didn't look away, her hand resting firmly on the hilt of her katana. "I am Kuina. My goal is simple: to be the strongest. I don't care for titles, only results." The tension between the two swordswomen was palpable.
Hibari, the young sniper from Marines , stood up quickly, clutching her rifle. "I-I'm Hibari! I'll be providing long-range cover! Please... let's all get along!"
Ain stood by the door, her posture rigid. "I am Ain. Assistant to Master Zephyr. My Modo Modo no Mi can revert anything I touch by twelve years. I suggest we keep our focus on the mission parameters."
From the corner, the other UA students shared their piece. Yui Kodai gave a tiny nod. "Yui Kodai. Size." Reiko Yanagi tilted her head, her hands floating in a ghostly fashion. "I am Yanagi. My Quirk is Poltergeist. I control the unseen movement of objects." Ibara Shiozaki clasped her hands in prayer, her hair-vines swaying. "I am Shiozaki. I use these vines to strike down the wicked and shield the innocent." Camie Utsushimi winked at the group, blowing a bubble of illusionary mist. "I'm Camie! My Glamour makes totally unreal illusions. This group is, like, super high-spec!"
Belo Betty took a slow drag of her cigarette, leaning back against the mahogany wall. "I'm Belo Betty of the Adventurer Academy. My Kobu Kobu no Mi can stir the hidden strength in your souls. Try to show me something worth encouraging."
Nami finally clicked her tongue, marking a coordinate. "I'm Nami. I read the wind and the sea. If you want to reach that island alive, you listen to my weather reports."
Kaya offered a warm, comforting smile. "I am Kaya. I'm a student of medicine, and I'll be working alongside Chopper to keep everyone healthy."
Vivi stood up, holding Shirahoshi's hand to steady shiraoshi. "I am Vivi of Alabasta. And this is Shirahoshi, Princess of the Ryugu Kingdom. We may come from different oceans, but our goal is the same." Shirahoshi sniffled, well I'll try my best and I have my own mission to finish.
Finally, all eyes turned to the most isolated corner. Boa Hancock sat perfectly still, her long raven hair veiling her face. She wasn't the arrogant Empress from the entrance hall; she looked deeply withdrawn, her fingers tracing the gold of her snake earrings.
"I am... just Hancock," she said, her voice a quiet, introverted murmur that shocked the room. "I do not wish to be a burden... but I find it hard to speak to so many people."
The room softened as they realized the "Empress" was actually incredibly shy in private. But before anyone could comfort her, a deep, rhythmic thrumming vibrated through the hull.
The ship didn't lurch like it would at the Twin Capes. Instead, it was slowly, steadily being lifted. They had reached the Red Port. Outside, massive steam-powered chains were locking onto the hull, and the giant Bondola lifts began to pull the entire fleet up the vertical wall of the Red Line.
The fleet is now ascending the 10,000-meter wall toward...
