Two weeks later, at the department store.
"Not this one, not this either… ah—found it! They really do have Dandelion Wine!"
Natsuyu flipped through bottle after bottle on the shelf, scanning the labels until she finally found what she was looking for.
Yes—she wasn't mistaken. It was Dandelion Wine.
Over the past few days, Conan had been coming to see Natsuyu frequently—often with the Detective Boys. As a result, she had also grown familiar with the Mouri family.
And as their interactions increased, so did her chances of running into cases.
Sure enough, staying near the God of Death elementary schooler meant there was rarely any peaceful daily life.
In just one short week, the Primogems from her daily commissions had already piled up to the amount needed for another ten-pull.
Before drawing this time, Natsuyu had deliberately washed her hands carefully—hoping to summon a character who was at least somewhat skilled in business. That way, the Maple Leaf Coins she had intercepted from Conan earlier would finally have a real purpose instead of just sitting in her backpack collecting dust—
though, strictly speaking, there was no dust inside the inventory.
With a proper cash flow, she could also establish a relatively discreet base of operations.
Her own home wasn't ideal. Conan and the others visited far too often. If they kept gathering there, who knew when Conan might notice something suspicious?
Perhaps it truly was the effect of washing her hands—this time, she drew two characters, and both were exactly what she needed.
The first was Lord Diluc.
Yes—that Diluc.
The wealthiest man in Mondstadt, master of Dawn Winery.
In this world, his identity was equally impressive: a noble—a Viscount of Country H—and the owner of a winery, also named Dawn Winery.
When Natsuyu first learned this, she was filled with envy.
Not only was he a noble—he even came with his own business.
But later, she discovered that while Diluc did possess Dawn Winery, it was nothing more than an empty shell. There were no real wine products for sale.
Most people only knew that Viscount Diluc of Country H had a winery—but they had no idea about its true condition.
In other words, if he wanted to make it profitable, he would still have to build it from the ground up.
After realizing that, Natsuyu stopped feeling so jealous.
And now, the Maple Leaf Coins in her backpack finally had a purpose.
She handed them all to Diluc, sending him back to Country H to purchase ingredients and develop products.
Though she knew Diluc was a wealthy tycoon and capable manager, she never expected him to truly develop a market-ready product in such a short time.
(Yes, she knew this would be impossible in reality—just blame Detective Conan's broken timeline.)
Although the wine already had a base formula that only needed refinement, being able to launch it so quickly and even sell it in Beika was still deeply impressive.
The second character was Noelle.
She was currently working as a maid under contract to a household. There was still some time left on the agreement, but it had already been settled—once the contract expired, she would leave.
After that, she would come to help at Xiangling's restaurant.
That way, the restaurant wouldn't need to hire outsiders.
Perfect!
Both newly summoned characters were from Mondstadt.
Though Natsuyu was slightly disappointed she hadn't unlocked any new elemental powers, being able to draw exactly who she needed at this stage still made her extremely happy.
She even secretly asked Paimon whether she had tampered with the probability for her.
Paimon denied it.
Which meant—this really was pure luck.
That realization made Natsuyu even happier.
When she saw the Dandelion Wine from Dawn Winery, she immediately bought it.
She had always been curious what wine made from dandelions tasted like.
Back when she played the game, she could never actually drink it—but now, it existed in the real world.
At last, she could try it for herself.
And if it tasted good, she could have Diluc supply it to Xiangling's restaurant.
That way, Mouri-san wouldn't complain every time he visited about having no alcohol.
After finishing her shopping, Natsuyu prepared to leave.
As she reached the first floor, she noticed an event taking place in the plaza outside the mall.
A Kamen Rider show.
She immediately spotted Genta—standing out among the children—and, just as expected, the rest of the Detective Boys were gathered around him.
Watching Conan shout—
"Go! Go! Kamen Rider! You can do it!"
without looking even slightly out of place among the elementary school crowd, Natsuyu couldn't help but smile.
He really was starting to look more and more like an actual kid.
But if Conan was here, then it meant one thing:
This mall was about to become a crime scene.
And with Kamen Rider involved…
Ah!
Natsuyu remembered.
This was the department store hostage incident.
A group of robbers would disguise themselves as Kamen Riders and attempt to steal valuable goods from the store.
She also remembered that one of the store's internal staff members was secretly working as their accomplice.
Unfortunately, she couldn't recall who the mole was—or exactly how many robbers there were.
Still, since she had run into this event by chance, there was no way she would miss this opportunity to earn Primogems.
She glanced at the wine in her hand.
After a moment's thought, she decided to go home first and put it away—just in case it shattered when things turned violent.
She fully intended to enjoy the Dandelion Wine tonight.
And besides, she remembered that the robbers only made their move after nightfall.
There was still time.
Without greeting the Detective Boys, Natsuyu quietly left the plaza.
Was that… my imagination?
Did I just see Natsuyu?
She came shopping today? No commissions?
Conan had noticed long ago—Natsuyu seemed to have commissions almost every day.
They were always small tasks: finding cats, delivering letters, and the like.
But she didn't even have an office, and no one ever seemed to approach her.
So how did she receive so many requests?
Of course, Conan had no idea the System existed.
He didn't know that all of these commissions were issued by it.
All Natsuyu had to do was follow its instructions, find the corresponding client, and speak with them.
Just then, Ayumi spoke to Conan, pulling him out of his thoughts.
That night, Natsuyu returned to the department store.
Looking up, she saw the word:
"SOS"
painted across one of the upper-floor windows.
That must have been Conan and the others, sending out a distress signal.
She found a window and knocked lightly.
It was thick—just as expected.
Natsuyu placed her hand against the glass and resonated with it using her Geo elemental power.
Suddenly
Crack!
The entire window shattered.
So it really worked!
Without hesitation, she climbed inside.
She had already memorized the mall's layout during the day.
The security room was on Basement Level 2—that was where the robbers would be controlling the surveillance.
When she reached the door, she carefully peeked inside.
There was only one robber.
The others must have gone to deal with Conan and the children.
The remaining guards—and the elevator attendant she had seen earlier—were bound, blindfolded, and placed against the wall.
Since there weren't many enemies, Natsuyu rushed in directly.
Catching the robber off guard, she knocked him unconscious from behind.
After subduing him, she turned to the tied-up employees, carefully observing them.
She still remembered—
There was an inside mole in this case.
So which one of them was it?
