If the Path truly exists, and if the Outworld Blaze is truly just a low-level monster in the universe, then someone in Mondstadt must embark on a Path. Venti is worried about what will happen once these monsters descend on his city; Mondstadt would be under a great threat. Although creatures like the Outworld Blaze do not exist on Teyvat, Venti inexplicably felt that one day they might appear—just as Takagi had.
'The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles had no reaction to the appearance of the Teyvat Continent Forum.'
'Takagi freely enters and exits the Teyvat continent, and the Heavenly Principles has had no reaction either.'
'This world is really very different from before, and it will become more and more different.'
'The Power of Destiny... I hope this power is real and can ensure Mondstadt's safety in a changing future,' Venti thought with a sigh.
[Scaramouche: They're completely stuck in a tough battle. What useless things.]
[Lisa: This Mr. Scaramouche's mouth is really sharp. I just don't know what kind of power you actually possess.]
[Scaramouche: Hmph. My great power is not something you ordinary people can imagine.]
[Yae Miko: Hehe, I think Acting Grand Master Jean and the others have shown considerable power. The reason they are struggling is simply that the Outworld Blaze is too powerful.]
[Dori: It seems Jean and the others have no chance of turning the situation around now. What about you, Takagi? Aren't you going to step in? If you don't move, they might be buried in a foreign land.]
[Dehya: That's right, Takagi! Quickly use your invincible shield of Preservation. It's okay if the Mora is lost; I don't want to see the people of Teyvat die in another world.]
[Takagi: No hurry, no hurry.]
[Eula: It's come to this, and you're still saying no hurry? Damn it, I'll remember this grudge!]
[Ningguang: That's right, Takagi! Jean and the others are exhausted and seriously injured, and Barbara doesn't have time to heal them. Except for Klee, who is protected by the Light Cone, everyone else is in a sorry state. If you don't act, it will affect your business. You don't want to return to Teyvat to find no one willing to be your customer, do you?]
[Lyney: Could it be that Lord Takagi also has no way to deal with the Outworld Blaze right now?]
[Lynette: Is it because you stored all your power in the Light Cone in Klee's hand?]
'Lyney and Lynette... could it be that Arlecchino told them to ask these questions? Interesting! Do they think I'm not as powerful as I claim and want to test me?' Takagi sat on a deserted rooftop, watching the battle while browsing the forum.
Because Paimon was acting as a very responsible camera, the people of Teyvat could see the battle clearly. He knew his own situation; although he had injected energy into Klee's Light Cone, it wasn't enough to deplete his own power. Knowing that Lyney and Lynette belong to the Fatui, it was hard for Takagi not to suspect a conspiracy.
'The Tsaritsa wants the Gnoses of other gods to fight the Heavenly Principles. She has no reason not to be interested in the new power I've brought. It's understandable that she would seek the Power of Destiny, but how her subordinates act is an unknown. Given the Fatui's methods, it's not impossible for them to make a move on me,' Takagi muttered.
He knew that the Astral Express and Light Cones were enough to attract attention. Since he had only shown defensive power so far, someone with ulterior motives might be tempted. He could help Jean, but doing so would minimize their chances of embarking on a Path themselves.
'Lynette is a cute girl; I hope I'm overthinking it. Otherwise, I might have to give the Fatui a small lesson.' Takagi smiled and glanced behind him. There, a small girl with golden hair was running toward the battlefield.
"To think I'd see Hook of the Moles in this desolate Rivet Town. She couldn't have come without Natasha knowing, could she?" Takagi muttered.
Seeing Hook was close, he knew the battle would soon end.
[Takagi: Don't worry, the savior is coming soon.]
[Lyney: Lord Takagi, are you planning to rescue Acting Grand Master Jean and the others?]
[Amber: I knew you wouldn't ignore Jean and the Traveler!]
[Takagi: I think there's a misunderstanding. The savior I'm referring to isn't me, but a local.]
[Venti: A local? Could it be someone who has embarked on a Path?]
[Takagi: As expected of Mondstadt's best bard, truly impressive.]
The savior was Hook. Although she was a child, no one who has embarked on a Path is simple. Takagi felt a considerable amount of Imaginary Energy from her. While it couldn't compare to Natasha or Seele, it was enough to destroy a weakened Outworld Blaze.
[Lynette: So, Lord Takagi, did you find help during the time you were off-screen?]
[Takagi: Heh heh, who knows.]
[Lisa: Regardless, Jean and the others are safe. I just wonder what kind of expert the savior will be.]
[Arataki Itto: Since it's a savior, it must be a warrior with strong muscles!]
[Tartaglia: A strong warrior, huh? I'm getting curious about what kind of person will appear.]
[Yae Miko: It's also possible it could be an elegant lady, you never know.]
[La Signora: Are you talking about me?]
[Yae Miko: Heh heh.]
[Amber: Huh? A fireball appeared at the edge of the screen? No... is that a... child?]
"Traveler, are you alright?" Paimon asked worriedly as Lumine half-knelt on the ground.
"I-I'm alright. With Barbara helping with the healing, I finally managed to get through it," Lumine said, taking a deep breath.
"But there are so many places on your body that were burned!" Paimon cried.
"I'm sorry; my healing ability is still too weak." Barbara looked apologetically at Lumine and Jean. Because of their protection, Barbara and Klee were uninjured, but Barbara only felt guilty. 'If only my healing power were stronger.'
"This monster is harder to deal with than I imagined. Our attacks don't have much effect, and Klee's explosions are limited against an enemy made of flames. If this continues, we will lose," Jean said with difficulty.
"Where did that Takagi run off to? Isn't he supposed to protect us?" Paimon grumbled.
"Big Brother Takagi must have his reasons. I believe he won't leave us," Klee said firmly.
"Paimon, now is not the time to blame others. The Outworld Blaze is attacking again!" Lumine shouted.
Paimon looked in horror as the monster raised a huge fireball. The temperature was high enough to melt the ground into magma. Just as the group prepared to defend, a clear voice rang out.
"Lord Hook the Dark is here! Make way, make way, make way! Woohoo!"
Hook, enveloped in flames, streaked past them at an incredible speed.
"A child? Wait, don't go over there, it's dangerous!" Jean reached out, but Hook was too fast. She watched as Hook charged the Outworld Blaze. The monster threw its fireball, but Hook performed a serpentine dodge using her 'Digertron' mechanical glove and crashed into the monster.
With a bang, the Outworld Blaze vanished in a massive explosion. The people watching the stream saw its indestructible body turn into nothingness while the golden-haired girl flew into the air with a smile.
[Alice: Wow! What a cute little girl! I want to hug her.]
[Lisa: Alice is treating her like Klee now, huh? But she is very similar to Klee.]
[Arataki Itto: Shouldn't we be curious about her power?]
[Kuki Shinobu: It's rare for the boss to be smart. Her power is indeed worth noting—even more destructive than Klee's.]
[Alhaitham: It's hard to imagine such a small girl possesses such force.]
[Amber: Much more powerful than my Baron Bunny! How did she do it?]
[Takagi: As a Pathstrider, this isn't that strange.]
[Arataki Itto: Wait, she's a Pathstrider? Was she the savior you mentioned, Takagi?!]
