His heartbeat quickened. He didn't know whether this was a dream or something far greater than that. When the number finally reached 100%, a mechanical voice resonated inside his head.
"Installation complete."
Minato stood still. His breath caught as the screen slowly faded away, leaving behind an eerie silence.
A few seconds later, a wide grin spread across his face—before turning into loud, uncontrollable laughter.
"HAHAHA! Finally! Finally, I got my Golden Cheat!" he shouted, clenching his fist into the air.
He dropped back onto his bed, staring at the ceiling with shining eyes. "Eighteen years… eighteen years I waited for this! I thought it was just a theory or a foolish dream!"
"Katana Yamato and Beowulf have been delivered to storage. Five percent synchronization has been granted."
Minato swallowed. "Hm, 5% isn't bad. So… how do I retrieve Katana Yamato or Beowulf from the system storage?"
"Correction," the system replied calmly. "You only need to speak the weapon's name."
Minato nodded slowly, still not fully believing what he had just heard. His hands trembled slightly—not from fear, but from excitement on the verge of exploding.
"So… I just need to say the weapon's name, huh?" he muttered with a small smile.
"Correct," the system answered in a neutral tone. "To check the Vergil Sparda Template and your synchronization level, simply say: Status."
Minato straightened his posture. He took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly to steady himself. The morning sunlight streaming through the curtains felt warmer now, as if the world itself was trembling in anticipation of this moment.

"Vergil Sparda, huh…" he murmured with a faint smile. "Let's see how far I can go with your power."
Before he could lose himself in thought, his gaze drifted toward the wall clock.
"7:35 AM!?" he shouted in panic. "Damn it! I'm going to be late! The Kaichou will kill me!"
Minato immediately dashed toward the bathroom—unaware that his steps were now far faster than they used to be.
