Jin Moxi had just finished his morning run, he did it to clear his head, he had been quite busy recently with the base project.
'Hm? Oh, they're here?' His expression remained vacant as he noticed the familiar figure knocking violently at his door.
"Damn it! Jin Moxi, you bastard! You're really brave! Open your door, if you apologize properly, I'll give you a second chance!" Mu Yaoyao screamed at the locked door but was met with nothing but silence. "Tch! This Jin Moxi really started getting on my nerves! First he blocked me, and then ignored me! What have I done wrong?"
Xia Mengmeng replied. "Maybe he was just playing hard to get? He even blocked me too. He must really want you to go out of your way to meet him, just do it and he'll be your lackey once again!"
"Right! There's no way a person like him has no desire for a beautiful girl like me!" Mu Yaoyao exclaimed in pride.
'I almost forgot about them…' Jin Moxi thought with a sigh, he had maintained distance between them so he went unnoticed by the both of them, he pulled out his phone with ill intent brewing within him. "Though, I didn't expect her to still linger around me, I thought she would immediately go for that guy after I ignored her…"
He walked towards his house, and then exclaimed, "what are you two doing near my home?"
Mu Yaoyao turned her head and her expression turned into a fake mask of a doting girlfriend. "Ah? Brother Jin Moxi~? I've missed you for a while now, why did you block me? You have just broken a maiden's heart, how will you mend it~?"
"Get lost," he said, then added, "I won't give you this house after all it has already been sold. I've just moved out and I've got a ton of debt… are you sure you still want to be with me…?"
Xia Mengmeng whispered into Mu Yaoyao's ear, "this might be a test, rich people like to do that!"
"Right!" Mu Yaoyao whispered back. "Um, it's fine, Brother Moxi~ I'll still love you no matter what~"
'Is that so? If it was the old me… I wonder, will I fall for it?' He let out a sigh, and muttered under his breath, "time does change people…"
"Get out of my face." Jin Moxi slapped Mu Yaoyao away as he walked past her to enter his home.
He opened the door to face the still-screaming Mu Yaoyao, he dialled the number and called the police. "Hello, there's two crazy women in front of my house screaming profanity in my face, I would like them to be removed."
Seeing Jin Moxi's act of calling the police, Mu Yaoyao and Xia Mengmeng ran away with their tails tucked between their legs.
"Serve you right, Mu Yaoyao." Jin Moxi muttered, he knew they were easily tricked, a fool since the beginning.
He looked around his old house, emptied by himself, he reminisced about the old memories and revealed a faint smile as he muttered, "status."

He tried to not rush into things, he could get the 'Apocalypse Farmer Supply Box', 'Physical Enhancement Serum' and other possible 'supply boxes' after a refresh instead of just one, but the 'Protagonist Supply Box' might contain a valuable item.
He let out a sigh. "Why am I thinking so hard? It's obvious that I am supposed to get this 'Protagonist Supply Box' and from the looks of it, undoubtedly a rare item to appear." Then, he pressed the 'Protagonist Supply Box' to purchase it.

Suddenly the shadows around him seemed to have suddenly come alive and gathered before him, forming a vaguely humanoid shape.
He stared intently at the kneeling shadowy figure before him, then a status window appeared.

The sound of knocking from the door had caught his attention, he walked up and opened the door, feeling that he almost used too much strength, he slowly readjusted his grip.
"Uh, are you the owner?"
A sun-kissed figure of a man slightly shorter than himself greeted Jin Moxi, he wore a friendly smile on his face.
"Yes, are you coming for the house?" Jin Moxi replied calmly.
The man's eyes widened as he answered, "yes, I am."
"Come inside." Jin Moxi offered a friendly smile as he led them inside.
"You want to move in as soon as possible? Well, it's not really a problem for me but just to satisfy my curiosity, may I ask why?" Jin Moxi asked with a faint smile.
The man was slightly surprised and smiled back as he eagerly responded, "ah, it's for my eldest daughter, she had just recently transferred into the nearby school so I've been searching for a house around here and it just so happens that you're selling."
"I see, I see…" Jin Moxi nodded in understanding. "You're really an honest man, aren't you? Aren't you afraid I might raise the price?"
A bead of sweat rolled down the man's face as he clenched his jaw. "Please don't do that…"
"Don't worry I won't, let's sign the contract alright? I planned to get out in a few weeks, that should be good, no?" Jin Moxi asked.
"Ah, no, no, no, that's perfectly fine!" The man replied.
Jin Moxi revealed a faint smile. "Sign, here and here, I had already signed it myself."
