The sound of clashing swords can be heard as a knight battles a vampire duke on a battlefield.

The sounds of armor being pierced can be heard as the knight falls back from pain as the vampire duke uses his blood magic to a sword and impale on his should
"Ahhhhh"
The sound of screams can be heard as the knight briefly healed by a young priest grabs his sword and plunges it through the vampire dukes chest.

The sound of silence can be heard as the battlefield grew silent.

Many years ago there was a battle between a ambitious vampire duke who wanted to take over part of the human kingdom Ash and the knights of Ash who protected the land with there lives. Of all these knight was 1 man who stood above them all, 'Hemlock'. A man who managed to defeat the vampire duck with the help of a rising young priestess named Salvia.
Together they fought through heards of vampires, bloody and injured but thanks to the priest Salvia they persisted until they faced the duke himself. Even though the battle was ferocious and brutal the knight and the priest won and held his corpse up high to show to the remaining vampires they lost the battle.
After that battle those 2 were rewarded greatly for there actions with statues, wealth, and land. These 2 hero's would eventually settle down with each other birthing 3 kids.
Fern the oldest son, he had his father skills with weapons and most especially the sword. By the age of 13 he already beat most of his instructors and by 16 managed to beat frost mammoth with nothing but a wooden sword
Rosie was the eldest daughter and inherited her mothers mana, well not a priest exactly she had great infinity with magic and can perform high level spell at the age of 14. She even managed to cause a great rain storm that fix the drought that would've killed many of the Ash kingdom
And then there's the 4th child Sunny the youngest daughter and child at only 10 but even at that young age she showed the greatest infinity with healing magic ever seen in history. she even managed to bring the prince from the brink of death back to hulk health in seconds after being poisoned.
Wait what about the 3rd child of that's me Thron. I'm really special honestly though there might be 1 thing special about me I'm below average at everything. I can barely fight and I can even barely read despite my younger sister being able to read full books while I can barely read a page. It's sad honestly but I guess it's just my fate.
Wait why am I telling you this anyway it's simple I just to say this before I die, you see a week ago I ran away from home because during a party that king held because of my sister healing the prince. Many people came and one of them was my childhood friend Sara. Pretty average but she was everything but age, she was master tamer who tamed many beast and even had a baby dragon she managed to tame.
So why is this all important? Well during this party Sara went to talk to me about how I was using her to pass my classes and how it was stressing her out. And I will admit I was having her help me thanks to my own issues and because she didn't have free time of it. I even caused her to miss the passing of her grandma so it's understandable she was mad at me.
So as she was yelling at me I just blew it off until she began crying about how she couldn't speak to her grandma because she had to spend so much time helping me. During all those my dad Hemlock walked up to me asking if what she said was true. I didn't want to get in trouble and was scared about what he might do if I admitted it so a lied, but I forgot my mom was good a detecting lies so she told everyone I was lying.
As people began to look at me with disgust, my father than grabbed my hand say he and my mom where going to talk to me privately about this but I was scared.
Why? Because he almost never pays me any attention, he uses all his free time he has to help my other siblings since by his own words 'I don't got that much and I want to help expand there talents sorry'. He doesn't really have much free time because of his knightly duties and whenever he does he's usually training one of those 3, even my little sister got more time with him. But whenever he does pay me any mind it's usually because of something I did, I remember when I was using my status at school to have some people do my bending until I pushed on me so hard he pass out. After he learned of he went up to me had my mom use a certain magic to damage my voice box so I couldn't speak properly. Any time I kicked a kid until he threw up and he didn't let me earth lucky the healing magic my mom had didn't cause me to have any lastly damage but I was starving for weeks and looked liked nothing but skin and bones.
So I was scared about what happened to me this time especially since I was making a ruckus a few days before which led to the teachers talking to him many times. So while he was still grabbing my arm I grabs nearby knife stuck in a cake and stabbed him in the gut. He was surprised, my mom was surprised, Sara was surprised, my siblings where surprised, everyone was including me.
I was really going to get it now
I took a few steps back surprised and scared before starting to run while everyone was still shocked, I ran out a nearby door as fast as I could for as long as I could, lucky they where to busy comforting my dad or still in shock. While running I heard a few screams and angry shouts I think they where from Fern and Rosie but it didn't matter because I just had to continue running no even turning back.
I managed to get to a local forest and ran in to hopefully live in the forest for a while. I wouldn't call what I went through living though as I constantly had to go deeper to avoid any kind of detection magic and I was constantly hunger. I remember how I ended up eating a blue mushroom that turned out to be poisonous and I ate any that I found edible until my teeth started to fall out. I was cold scared and thought about going back to face my punishment and hopefully not die here but I started walking the memory of me stabbing my dad appeared and I turned back.
While I was walking in my thirty starving gaze I I found a river but when I ran to took I tripped over something and when I turned my head I found I was look at a tiger that seemed 10 feet tall. I managed to get up and tried to run but I was struck in the back and my legs ended up going numb, I could move them even if I tried. As I crawled myself to a tree I looked back to see nothing.
"Where is it now?" I looked around trying to find the beast but couldn't find him anywhere.
Blood came out of my mouth as the cold air blew on me. It was freezing and I was freezing. As I sate there waiting in the cold probably waiting for my death i say something.
"Hello there you seem to be in bad condition."
"Huh" it was a lady in a crimson hoody with sharp ears and what seems to be pale skin and she came closer asking
"Do you want me to save you because I can but you'd change it bit you know"
" h-h-help"
"You sure? There's no turning back"
I shook my head up and down with my last strength before I started to lose consciousness. But for some reason it seemed that lady was coming closer and she seemed to have fangs.
