Chapter 15 - Inochi Training Begins!

THE WATERFALL

Upon arriving to the waterfall by the mountains in the village, Inochi begins his training by taking off his shirt and sitting cris cross on the ground.

He starts to shut his eyes and engage in meditation, focusing both his mind and body, likening himself to water, attuned to the sound of the cascade as the water flows.

KENJI SENSEI

However, he feels a presence, so he rises and gradually unsheathes his sword as Kenji makes his appearance.

Inochi exclaims, "Oh, hey Kenji Sensei, what brings you here?" Kenji responds, stating he recognizes potential in Inochi and wishes to assist him in his training.

Inochi's excitement grows as he shares with Kenji his desire to become proficient in the water class in order to utilize the Elemental Dragon Technique.

Kenji advises Inochi to pace himself, explaining that mastering such a technique requires significant training and the ability to control one's aura.

KENJI TRAINS INOCHI

He indicated that to master the skill, he needed to undergo six additional months of training, which amazed Inochi to learn that he had become skilled in the Elemental Dragon Technique.

Kenji explained that he had achieved proficiency in all five elemental auras and had been instructed in this technique by Inochi's Father.

Kenji declared his delight in mentoring Inochi, as it would allow him to not only share a technique with him but also ensure its transmission to subsequent generations, thereby maintaining its intact essence.

FOCUSING

Kenji instructs Inochi to pick up from where he had paused by centering his thoughts, with both settling themselves down, Inochi proceeds to shut his thoughts out and concentrate, absorbing the sound of the flowing water and inhaling deeply as he forms signs.

As Inochi concentrates, the water starts to subtly shift, stirred by his Aura.

Witnessing this, Kenji is taken aback and urges Inochi to maintain his concentration and form another sign.

As Inochi forms a gesture, the water from the river ascends into the air and cascades down, drenching Inochi.

MOTHER NATURE

Kenji bursts into laughter and remarks, "It appears the water is reacting to your presence, allowing you to employ water category skills."

AURA CONTROL

He communicates to Inochi his wish to teach him a skill related to water during their walk along the riverbank.

WATER TSUNAMI

Kenji names the skill "water class mini tsunami" and, with a specific motion, generates a water wave that rises between 5-10 ft.

Kenji clarifies to Inochi that this technique serves a defensive purpose.

It is primarily designed to neutralize attacks from fire class while maintaining its complete form intact.

He advises Inochi to focus on releasing his aura to enlarge his wave before unleashing it.

Inochi conjures a gesture that causes the water to surge up to at least 5 feet in height, a remarkable feat for his initial attempt.

Kenji is taken aback, acknowledging Inochi's exceptional talent.

This realization is compounded by the fact that Inochi has graduated prematurely and holds the rank of a mid-class shinobi.

He informs Inochi that practicing that technique was impressive and it would be beneficial for his future.

WATER CLASS TIGER BULLET

Inquiring, Inochi asks Kenji if he could demonstrate any water-based offensive skills.

Kenji gestures towards a tree and mentions, "Water class Tiger Bullet Technique - shoot a water bullet at full speed, tearing through the wood.

Inochi was astonished and queried Kenji on the capability of a water class technique to inflict such potent damage despite its aqueous nature.

Kenji points out that the water's pressure itself is extremely dense, owing to its rapid movement and slowdown, surface tension, and the method's non-compressibility.

He tells Inochi that it's not similar to the mini tsunami because it contains great aura control aimimg for a precise shot.

He instructs him to shut his eyes, form the symbols with his fingers, concentrate his thoughts, envisage the form of water, and propel it forward, all the while maintaining its complete form, layout, and substance.

Inochi starts to concentrate his aura by extending his Hand forward, launching a slow-moving water bullet.

Kenji advises him to attempt once more, but on this occasion, to employ a greater amount of aura.

Inochi executes a flawless shot, yet his accuracy leaves much to be desired.

He instructs Inochi to fire in a direct line through the forest, emphasizing that concentrating on his release will enhance both the power and velocity of the projectile.

Inochi positions his hand toward a tree once more, inhaling deeply.

Kenji advises him to remain accurate while maintaining precision.

Inochi starts to gaze and focuses intently on the tree's center.

He fires again, his shot puncturing the wood while maintaining its complete integrity.

Kenji commends Inochi on his excellent progress but reminds him to continue practicing the newly taught techniques and to maintain his meditation sessions beside the water, due to its inherent qualities.

He advises Inochi that forming a bond with nature is crucial, noting that the water will immediately respond to his consciousness as a result of his spiritual connection with the element.

Kenji informs Inochi that the day's training is sufficient, noting he expended a considerable amount of aura and should take a rest.

He also mentions Inochi's potential.

Inochi responds to Kenji, stating his intent to continue practicing outside for a longer period as he does not wish to be defeated by Tosuke.

Kenji advises Inochi against overexerting himself and emphasizes the importance of rest for regaining full strength.

He escorts Inochi to his residence, informing him that they will resume their efforts the following day.

Kenji instructs him to reconvene at the water's edge.

WELCOME HOME

Inochi pauses to bow and express gratitude to Kenji for the training, he proceeds to enter as Hamari greets him upon his return.

She inquires about his day and whether he feels the need to eat.

Inochi stated, "Yes mother, I have Semi exams approaching, and I am diligently preparing so I won't be defeated by Tosuke; likewise, I don't wish to be bested in Kurai's presence and desire to always shield her."

Hamari observes that Inochi has taken a liking to a friend and expresses to him that this sentiment is truly endearing.

She voices her confidence in his ability to succeed in his upcoming tests, encouraging him to take a shower while she commits to preparing his meal at the table.

This scene unfolds as Shukumei enters the room.

He inquired of Inochi about the progress of his training.

Inochi mentioned that the water now reacts to his aura, and he has acquired two new skills within the water class.

However, he also noted that there is still much progress to be made.

SHUKUMEI INVESTIGATION PT 2

Shukumei mentioned that once he has some spare time, he would be delighted to train Inochi.

However, he regretfully informed that he had gathered additional details concerning the ninja who was put to death from the Land of Fire.

He asserts that the ninja, Kai, hails from the Land of Fire, and he has a sibling who serves as the host for the Fire Dragon; also, his Father holds the esteemed position of the Fire Grandmaster, Inochi.

With an expression of astonishment, he exclaims, "What does this signify, Shukumei Sensei?"

Shukumei expresses concern that the current situation is likely to ignite another conflict between their two Lands, emphasizing the need for a strategic approach.

With a moment to gather his thoughts, Shukumei reassures Inochi, stating, "have no fear, for I am the Grandmaster and will take all necessary measures to avert war," emphasizing his commitment to maintaining peace while ensuring the integrity of their stances.
