Rosaline had left the villa and had reached the street."I won't let him take me back I'd rather die than go back"said Rosaline to herself and she sees a group of men standing by an open fire smoking.
"Look it's a damsel in distress"said one of them. Rosaline was about to walk past them when they encircled her. One of them whistles "We find these ones once in a blue moon"said one of them that had a scar on this face, he seemed to be the leader as he ordered the others to hold her down.
"W what are you doing?, let me go!!?" She yelled she falls to the ground and the scarred faced man unzips his pants.
"No... no...let me go!!"she yelled.
"I'll take it slow"he said
BANG!!! The man drops dead before her after a gun shot was heard there was a hole in the middle of his forehead.
"Fuck!!"shouted one of them, and they turn around.
"I'll give you 5 seconds to hand her over"said Louis his eyes dark, Rosaline throws the dead man of her and the others draw out their knives.
"Son of a bitch!!"one of them yelled.
Louis shoots him in the throat.
"I won't even bother wasting my bullets "said Louis looking at them as they attack him Louis brings out a dagger and then kills them, one of them cuts him in the shoulder.
Rosaline was about to leave when the last man standing holds her and puts a knife to her throat.
"I'll slit her throat"said the man, "drop the gun"he adds.
"Okay "said Louis about to bring out his gun when he throws a knife at the man and it stabs his eye and he drops dead. Rosaline gasps for air and then faints again. Louis approaches her
"Weak" he muttered to himself and carries her home.
Rosaline opens her eyes and finds herself in a room. Louis was right in front of her "I wonder why Anderson the king of mischief could produce something so stupid"said Louis looking at her his face had annoyance written all over it.
"Why did you bring me back, what do you want from me!!" Rosaline yells.
"Can you just be quiet!!"he scolds her.
"No I won't I'm not going back I'd rather die than go back "she screamed.
"All of you are crazy "she said her hands on her head.
"Rosaline!! Stop talking know your limits, why didn't you just die instead of giving me a headache "said Louis.
"Is this what you want"she said taking off her nightdress, showing her naked body. Louis' brain went blank for a minute,and he turns his face away.
"Put your dress back on, have you gone totally insane "he said.
Rosaline laughs and then she goes towards the direction he was staring at. "What you've never seen a naked girl what are you waiting for, I'm already dead you asked me why I'm living the fact is that I really gone I'm a dead man walking "she said. Louis was tempted to drag her into his arms and then he suddenly feels disgusted by her behavior. He pushes her and then throws the sheets on her, Rosaline bursts into tears and Louis leaves the room closing the door with a big bang.
He storms into his room and sits down. "That's not how things are done Master Grey"said Reinald.
"She's getting on my nerves I don't even have the guts to kill her she's got a hold on me"said Louis.
"I'll tell you about this feeling Master Grey it's love"said Reinald.
"To hell with love"said Louis.
"The harder you try to escape the harder you get stuck it's like a quagmire Master Grey. She's in pain
Master Grey, this is not how things are going to be solved make her feel safe at least she would stop hurting herself" said Reinald.
"I don't know "said Louis grabbing a cigarette and smoking it.
" She looks so bad in that nightdress, you should ask your mother if she got it from her descendants you know what I mean "said Reinald leaving the room and looking at Louis' wallet on the table. Louis ignores him and goes to the French window and continues smoking.
The next morning Rosaline wakes up
and sees a lot of shopping bags in the room and on the bed. She was confused for a moment and then checks one of the bags she sees a purple dress. She sees the tag it was an exquisite brand, she gets up from the bed and goes into the bathroom.
Louis was downstairs having tea, when Rosaline comes downstairs with a pale face. Louis puts down his newspaper and then looks at the small figure slowly walking down the stairs.
Rosaline wore a huge white cardigan that came with a pair of trousers with a pair of brown sandals she dressed her hair into a bun and looks at him, looking quiet. Louis gets himself back and then he continues reading saying nothing. Rosaline sits down looking at the tea set and pours herself a cup of tea. "Thank you for the clothes"said Rosaline.
"Do you think I'd give you a chance to go naked before me again"he said without looking at her. Rosaline pauses and sips some tea then she leaves and goes to the dining to have breakfast.
"Good morning Miss Rose, sleep well?" Reinald asked.
"Um not really I saw the demons coming to get me Alfred"said Rosaline. Reinald chuckles "Funny young lady you are, it's Reinald" said
Reinald.
"It's Rosaline, Rosaline Anderson "said
Rosaline.
"You seem to be proud of your family" said Reinald.
"They were the best"said Rosaline.
Louis snorts in a corner and then goes
upstairs and then comes downstairs holding a bag then he leaves the house, Rosaline looks at his back, she never seemed to understand him.
Rosaline finishes her breakfast and stands up "Thank you for the meal Mr Reinald"said Rosaline helping him clear the table.
"You're such a sweetheart"said Reinald laughing "Let me help you with this I'm not as useless as they say I am"said Rosaline rolling her eyes, and looking at the direction Louis passed to leave the house.
Reinald laughs more "Master Grey is hard to understand don't take it to heart "said Reinald.
"He only keeps people that are of use around him"said Reinald.
"Really then what use am I to him since he says I'm useless "said Rosaline.
"That's not a question for me to answer, you should ask him yourself " said Reinald going into the kitchen.
"Ha isn't that suicide, that's like asking the king of hell why he punishes me"Rosaline scoffed.
"Who knows, we'll all see sooner or later "said Reinald giving a hint, Rosaline didn't seem to understand.
She goes back upstairs and then she sits on the bed and looks around the room.
She stands up from the bed and then goes outside to the garden, she sits down. "It would be a lovely place to paint"said Rosaline looking around the glass house, "Mr Grey's taste is unique a garden with a glass house in the middle.
Rosaline walked around for a while and then she goes back into the house as it starts raining.
Reinald was preparing dinner and she comes in it had gotten dark outside.
"Is Mr Grey not coming home tonight?"asked Rosaline.
"Apparently no, Mr Grey has gone out for a business meeting he won't be back in a month or two"said Reinald he missed the disappointed look on Rosaline's face and chuckles.
"He just left like that, without telling anyone"said Rosaline.
"He's the Master of this house he can come and go as he pleases he doesn't owe us a thing"said Reinald.
Rosaline sits down and then she eats her food. Once she was done with dinner she gets an idea.
"Um Reinald id like to ask you for a favor?"said Rosaline.
"I'm all ears" said Reinald lighting a cigarette.
"I need to get some materials I feel a bit bored here, if Master Grey won't be offended I have a thing for painting I wanted to really study architecture and I'd love to have some materials...I know Master Grey would send me back but i just want to feel a little touch of warmth"said Rosaline.
"I understand Master Grey said you should just tell me about anything you need, he left his black card you can even throw it in a bin for all he cares"said Reinald.
"That sounds like him"said Rosaline.
"Just write down the things you need and we'll go shopping tomorrow?"said Reinald.
"Thanks "said Rosaline going upstairs to her room and then she closes the door then looks outside the window.
She remembers when she was in the fire and she saw a blurry talk figure the person looked like Louis.
"Am I overthinking things or is it just me "said Rosaline and she curls up on a big arm chair.
The next morning Rosaline comes downstairs and sees Reinald.
"You suprise me everyday Miss Rosaline, what kind of angelic beauty"said Reinald finally understanding why his master got knocked off his feet.
"It's just an outfit I wonder how Master Grey knows my taste and what I like"said Rosaline looking at her tiny waist that hugged the dress. She wore a white dress that had puffs and a v neckline, with sneakers, she tied a scarf on her neck looking like an eighteen year old showing off her youthfulness.
"You still look pale "said Reinald.
"I don't want to think about it "said Reinald and then she sits down and eats breakfast in a hurry.
"I'm done "she said running to meet Reinald.
