Although they were only temporarily staying in an old stone house, Odian and the others quickly renovated the one Nina would be living in. Every corner was carefully repaired and polished, all for the sake of making her more comfortable.
The stone house was cleaned until it was spotless. The furniture and daily necessities were the best they could provide. Even the arrangement of the room followed Nina's habits and preferences, and the color combinations matched her taste perfectly. It was obvious how much thought had gone into it.
Nina looked around in surprise. "Who arranged this place? It's beautiful and cozy—I really like it."
It felt as if it had been tailored just for her.
"We all helped," Odian replied, "but Kith mainly took the lead."
Though he didn't want to admit it, judging from Nina's expression, she was very pleased. That damned tiger truly understood her tastes—it made Odian feel an undeniable sense of crisis.
