Chapter 1: The day everything changed
I was only ten when my father passed away. That day, my childhood ended.
After his death, only my mother, my brother, and I were left. My grandparents and relatives tried to care for us, but nothing could replace my father's love and protection.
As I grew, life became harder. Those who once promised support began to taunt me. Anxiety and sadness filled my days and nights, and for almost five years, I felt trapped in depression.
I stopped talking. I stopped sharing. I carried a pain inside me that no one could see.
Then someone in my family broke my trust in a way I can never forget. I stayed silent because I knew no one would believe me. If my father were alive, he would have.
All I want is simple: I want my mother to be happy. I want to be happy too.
But happiness feels impossible when the people who should protect you cause the most pain. Life forces us to accept things we are never ready for.
So I remain silent.
And this… is my silent story.
