Silas's POV
Felix burst into my office barely hours after Vesta had left, clutching a thick manila folder that made my stomach drop before he even opened his mouth. The expression on his face told me everything I needed to know - this wasn't going to be good news.
"What the hell is this about?" I demanded, gesturing at the folder he placed on my desk with trembling hands.
My head of security had always been steady, unshakeable. Today he looked like a man who'd rather be anywhere else on earth. He cleared his throat, avoiding my eyes. "Boss, you told me to dig deeper into the wife's activities. I found something."
The way he said 'something' made my blood run cold. I leaned forward, fingers drumming against the mahogany surface. "Spit it out, Felix."
