The world, an accursed, desolate place is filled with a raw and unbridled, pristine and potent energy called Aeonex Essence, also known as Nullbirth essence.
It's orgins, unknown, untraceable.
People who wield it become gods among men, some even as far as true gods. The verse is overflowing with it. People who wield are known as Resonants, or the people who resonate with Aeonex or Nullbirth. The chances of awakening it? Pretty high.
People awaken it when they go through something called as The Rite of Revelation. It happens to everyone naturally at ten years of age. People either pass it or fail miserably and remain powerless for the rest of their lives unless they were influenced by an external character.
