Shen was about to knock on the door again when it suddenly opened and he saw someone he thought he'd never meet again.
"You," Xian sneered at him. "Have you been stalking me?"
Shen blinked severally to make sure it was the omega he'd been searching all over the city for. To think he'd been under his nose all this while.
"Is this where you live?"
Xian saw that unmistakable look of disgust at the state of the house and it annoyed him. "Are you stalking me?"
"I've been looking for you, yes. I wanted to apologize for what happened with Jia. I didn't think the both of you would ever meet. Or that it'd be that same night. Talk about tough luck."
"Tough luck?" Xian scoffed. "You have a whole wife and you're out here playing games? She embarrassed me in public! Imagine how confused I was when she attacked me, calling me a homewrecker."
Shen scratched the back of his head, embarrassed. "Jia has always been dramatic. It was a misunderstanding, I assure you. We're not married."
