While the others had fun with her brother, she had far too much time to think. No one blamed her for what had happened, yet the guilt weighed heavily on her chest.

First, there was the useless Kenji. Then the one she thought was the pinnacle of cool turned out to be nothing more than a criminal.
It was all because she kept chasing "dangerous" men.
What was she even hoping to gain from that?
She wanted to feel cool. To prove she belonged at the top of some ridiculous social food chain. To stand beside someone "dangerous" and feel untouchable by association.
But the truth was… she didn't even really like that type of person.
