Cynthia was brought back to the reality of the situation when the other five beast lords arrived and got excited again. "A new power and more enemies to test them on!" said Cynthia cackling like a lunatic. Cynthia could feel that the control she could exert on the blood offered much more finesse. The stigma offers high acceleration and force while the blood offers more versatility and finesse. Cynthia made 50 daggers out of the blood that she had gathered and sent them flying at any weak points she could sense in the five new beast lords. None of the attacks she made in that moment were fatal but combined they could cause enough blood loss to kill the enemy lords. "All I have to do is wait until your servants die off!" Said Cynthia grinning widely at the two cultivators who now were standing absolutely terrified. What Cynthia didn't notice was that the sky had turned red. Her white hair was stained with blood and due to the blood festival all beings above a certain level and those affiliated with them were filled with bloodlust and everyone else were filled with primal fear. The only beings in the area who were above the level that they were filled with bloodlust instead of fear were Cynthia, Yang Ling, and the mantis. Unfortunately the bloodlust is only sent down in the hierarchy so the master of the mantis, the senior cultivator, was in fear instead of aggressive.
"You know not what you've started young one!" said the mantis showing that it was indeed a sentient being "human cultivator! If you have not lost yourself, we must stop this madness! If this continues, this settlement will be drowned in blood and violence!". "I understand but we must try to stop her with reason first!" said Yang Ling. "Cynthia! This is the domain of a god known for bloodshed! If you catch his attention, the only ones who will leave this place alive will be me and you!" said Yang Ling, pleading with her to quell her bloodlust. Unfortunately Cynthia was young and she was already consumed by her bloodlust, as was her royal guard. Yue was only held back by the old advisor and it wasn't going well for him. Sebas knew immediately that something was wrong even at the spider cave. He sent a message to Hera and departed immediately to get to his master's side.
Yang Ling realizing that Cynthia couldn't be reasoned with readied himself to subdue her before Huitzilopochtli's attention was drawn to this area. The enforcer from before also drowned in bloodlust struck at Yue. Feeling that Yue was occupied for the moment, the zombie xingxing called out to Yang Ling. "Please do not kill my lady! She does not intend to cause this level of harm!". "It's not her fault! This domain encourages this behavior on an imperceptible level!" replied Yang Ling "This has happened before, but there hasn't been anyone this bloodthirsty in this area since the vampires were banished to distant lands!". "There's a point where being a battle junky becomes an issue even in this realm, Cynthia!" said Yang Ling "snap out of it!". Cynthia then lunged at him with her untransformed teeth. "Damnit she's completely lost rationality! Try to incapacitate her from behind, mantis!". "My strengths lie in killing, not immobilizing!" said the mantis "We should kill her instead!". "Killing someone who is so beloved by the world alone would be like sacrificing every living being in this area to death, never mind the respect she has from the world! Isn't that what we are trying to avoid?!" replied Yang Ling. "Fuck! Fine! She'll have to deal with being crippled then!" said the mantis as he cleaved Cynthia's legs clean off. The world had a clear reaction to this act. As if it was weeping. Then Cynthia on instinct regenerated her legs from the blood in the area which calmed the world back to silence.
(Author note: The world's reaction is not about any of the five base senses. It is felt as the world's energy becomes so palpable, almost solid and portraying its will to those who can sense energy. Usually only people who can sense energy like the respected and loved, but at that moment the world is so overwhelmed by its love for Cynthia that even mortals can feel it.)
"Only a reincarnant can elicit that kind of a reaction from the world for a mere injury. It would take the death of a king for the world to weep like that!" said Yang Ling "change of plans mantis! We need to knock her out but if her fur and hair are made of the same material that's going to be nearly impossible without someone at our level who prioritized brute strength!". "Hey monkey can you do it?" Asked the mantis to the old advisor while Yang Ling kept Cynthia busy. "I'm not nearly strong enough! This body is only that of a low level advisor!" said the xingxing zombie.
All of a sudden a human faced spider dropped from above. "My Lady!" said Sebas with the worry of a housewife seeing her husband walk through the door bleeding out of his head. "Woah Woah Woah!" said the mantis "Spider are you capable of rational thought?". "Barely!" said Sebas, calming down a little. "We're in luck!" said the old advisor "see that ape corpse on the ground? Transfer all the necessary body parts and my soul from my current body!". "I'll need some thread!" said Sebas. "Use this!" said the terrified senior cultivator from before as he tossed over a spool of metal thread "It's made of mid rank cold iron!". Sebas began working. "Give me five minutes!". "That's a tall order but we'll try!" said Yang Ling.
As the fight progressed Cynthia used more and more of her power in a desperate escalation to deal more damage and spill more blood. Eventually on instinct she transformed back into a massive tiger growing bigger and bigger. The system, realizing that this situation is bad for its host, pleaded with the world to help. The world acknowledged that Cynthia getting knocked out was for the best. All it wanted to do was fulfill the wishes of its new youngest child but realized that the situation had gone far too far. The world gave the system the authority to display a single message to every relevant party. "The world is issuing an apology for its dearest child! The world is issuing compensation." Information poured into the minds of Sebas, Yang Ling, and the mantis. The mantis gained immortality, Yang Ling gained the title Vampire Hunter, and Sebas gained the title Master Necromancer.
Sebas using his new power was able to immediately finish repairing the corpse and was able to move onto transferring the soul of the old advisor. The mantis and Yang Ling were now able to defend against Cynthia's arsenal of abilities much better with their new powers. Unfortunately they couldn't get a blow in. Cynthia's instincts had much better control over her stigma than she did. "Even if we do have someone who can knock her out through her furs defense, they likely won't be able to get through her stripes!" said Yang Ling, getting even more worried. "Monkey, you've got one shot at this! Don't fuck it up or we all die!" said the mantis.
Sebas finished and the old advisor took stock of his new body. His legs were agile like a xingxing but his upper body resembled a silverback gorilla. In fact the gorilla was holding back earlier because the soul of the gorilla was rather kind hearted and didn't like hurting children. Its power was enough to kill Cynthia in a patch without stripes on her head. Thankfully the old spider has great bodily control even in death. The advisor using the agility of its legs dashed towards Cynthia. Cynthia turned to face this new foe but he was too fast for her and delivered a calculated punch directly to her forehead before she could fully react. The skies began to clear of their red color as Cynthia fell to the ground defaulting to her human form which used less energy to maintain.
