FuXi (伏羲) dreams of being a top jewellery designer. He has graduated from college and he lands himself a dream job at one of the world's best jewellery designing companies. At first, he thinks he has his life figured out and going in the right direction, however, something or someone comes in to change that. Born with a gift, he has the ability to sense things about the people around him. What happens when he senses something about his new boss that he shouldn't. Will he survive or will his new boss teach him things about himself he never knew.
Mica is the CEO of Obsidian Jewels, the best jewellery designing company in the world. People from all over the world flock to get their hands on one of his designs. He is a household name but he harbours a secret. He is a vampire who possesses a special ring that allows him to walk in the sunlight. Mica figures he has life figured out by now, being over 300 years old means very little surprises him. However, when he meets FuXi (伏羲), the hot new designer he has been following for a few years in the flesh, he feels the rug pulled out from under him. Instantly, he knows he is a witch.
But it was a bit more complicated than that as FuXi wasn't just a witch, he was the direct descendant of an ancient witch called GongGong (共工). What also made it worse was that he discovered that FuXi (伏羲) had a twin sister NuWa (女媧)
The pair are forced to work and spend a lot of time together. FuXi (伏羲) is eager to get to know the centuries-old vampire, but Mica is reluctant. As they learn more about each other a bond starts to form that neither of them can deny any longer. Once they finally take that next step together, the past comes back to haunt them, in more ways than one.
