News from Bloodhowl's side suddenly arrived. Everyone looked toward the screen, which displayed a map. Bloodhowl was requesting that Creed send troops to block the exit of a specific corridor. Zeke realized that Bloodhowl must be hunting down Morkath.

"I'll go!" Zeke volunteered, racing toward the location marked by Bloodhowl. "If anything happens, report back via the transponder," Creed's instructions faded behind him as Zeke sped away.

Bloodhowl leaped over an obstacle in his path. He was close; he could sense the scent of the young girl, Morkath—she hadn't run far. Morkath woke from her swoon and looked around at her surroundings; she was in a narrow crevice within the walls. Using every ounce of her strength, she reached out and squeezed herself out of the gap. The Blackstone Fortress was warning her that she was not yet out of danger; those "wolves" were still hunting her like a sheep, wanting to tear her apart.

Morkath could already hear the heavy thud of footsteps growing louder behind her. Like a frightened animal, she scrambled frantically across the floor on all fours. The sound of power-armored boots pressed closer with every step. As she rounded a corner, a figure stepped out unhurriedly.

Bloodhowl had marked the position where he was herding Morkath on the map, and Zeke had been lying in wait for some time.

"Oh!" Zeke feigned surprise, a bright smile spreading across his face. "What a coincidence, bumping into you here".

"It's that... Drill Demon!" Morkath's pupils shrank to pinpricks, and the last drop of color drained from her face. All her painful memories—shattered teeth, the wailing of the fortress, and the sight of walls being ruthlessly crushed—overwhelmed her sanity. She let out a scream: "Don't come any closer!!".

Morkath fell backward and tried to crawl away, but Bloodhowl had already arrived behind her. As Zeke and Bloodhowl stepped forward together, Morkath had nowhere left to run. The roles were reversed; before, she had forced them into a corner, but now it was their turn.

"Zeke, can you be a bit more serious?" Bloodhowl couldn't help but remind him; Zeke's current expression was a bit too terrifying.

"Sorry, I lost my composure a bit," Zeke said, rubbing his face and putting on a serious expression. "Colluding with Abaddon to help him control the Blackstone Fortress... today, I'll deliver justice to this Chaos scum".

Zeke pulled out a blueprint and stepped forward. In the future, the Blackstone Fortress would wipe Cadia off the star charts, and Morkath would undoubtedly play a role in that. Zeke would not be soft-hearted.

The blackstone wall behind Morkath became incredibly soft. The Blackstone Fortress was trying the same trick again, attempting to steal her away. However, before it could act, Zeke had used his blueprint to summon an Obsidian Cage, aiming it at Morkath to seal her inside.

Don't even think about it. You think the same move will work on me twice?.

The obsidian cut off Morkath's contact with the Blackstone Fortress, preventing her rescue. "Welcome to being the second guest of the Obsidian Cage". Zeke followed his usual routine, tossing in a Potion of Poison to give the "guest" an opening lesson. He wondered how that Eldar Harlequin was doing in her "hell"; she should be more well-behaved now. He'd talk to her after dealing with the fortress.

"Father!" Morkath sobbed inside the cage, then screamed louder, "Father!".

Zeke heard a beeping sound, and Bloodhowl heard it too. They both looked toward the source: a device covered in red runes lay on the corridor floor. It had fallen off Morkath during her panicked flight.

Inside the Obsidian Cage, Morkath extended her mind, searching through the many chaotic souls dwelling in the fortress for that one peerless, incomparable presence. He was on the bridge. Morkath saw him; their bond was so close. She didn't want to activate this device unless absolutely necessary, as her father would surely scold her. But now, she had no choice.

Morkath summoned all her strength and shouted the word. Instantly, the device erupted with purple-red lightning. It was a teleportation device. Through a crack in reality, a screaming portal, Morkath's father strode out.

Warmaster Abaddon.

Zeke jumped back as if he'd been burned. Isn't the final boss supposed to appear at the end?. Regardless, he immediately applied every buff he had: Enchanted Golden Apples, Strength, Night Vision, and Speed. He sent word to Creed through the transponder.

At the tactical terminal, Creed's face turned grim as he announced Abaddon's arrival to all soldiers on the line. Saint Celestine, the Black Templars, and the Adeptus Mechanicus—all forces immediately began converging on Zeke's location.

Abaddon had received word of the situation minutes ago. It wasn't just Space Wolves on the fortress; Cadians, Mechanicus, and Battle Sisters had also appeared. They were numerous, as if they had appeared out of thin air. Worse, Urkrathos had been beheaded by Saint Celestine. It was all too sudden; one moment Abaddon was thinking about how to handle the boarding Space Wolves, and the next, the fortress was on the verge of falling.

Just as Abaddon was about to issue orders to stabilize the front and resist the invaders, the cry of "Father" interrupted him. Consequently, Abaddon was very, very angry.

Abaddon scanned his surroundings and saw two Iron Golems charging him—Zeke's opening gambit. Mechanical constructs—the same kind used by the forces attacking the fortress. Abaddon raised the daemon sword in his left hand, Drach'nyen. A daemon that even the Emperor himself could not kill resided within it; most who were struck by it met only death.

With a single horizontal sweep, Drach'nyen sliced one Iron Golem in half. Simultaneously, the Talon of Horus on his right hand pierced the head of the other.

His damage is high, Zeke thought, eyeing the sword wreathed in black mist. However, Abaddon's health bar was only about 100 points higher than Bloodhowl's.

Having dealt with the two reckless Iron Golems, Abaddon looked toward Zeke and Bloodhowl. Flicking the blood from the Talon of Horus, he walked toward the Obsidian Cage. He would rescue Morkath first, then deal with the remaining enemies.

Abaddon's sword struck the obsidian. "My daughter, I hope you have a proper explanation for why you summoned me".
