The novices of the Shadow Mercenary Guild were resumed their afternoon training after a short period of break. The whole afternoon was used to educate them about military customs and traditions. After that, they were dismissed by Corporal Gabriel.
"Hey Nora! What was the gift you told me you would give to me after defeating that psycho?" Bradley who was closely following Elaine questioned Leonora.

After cleaning himself and resting for awhile, he went to the cafeteria to have his lunch like the rest of the novices. When he got out of the dormitory, he saw Elaine and the Novice 1 just few metres from he was. Both of them automatically turned to where he was. Bradley smiled at them and walked pass them.
"Hey! Where do you think you are going?"
Bradley heard someone ask from his back. He turned towards the who asked.
"I'm going to the cafeteria for my meal. Can't you see?" He asked with a little bit of coldness in his voice just like how he was instructed to do.
"I came to your place to wait for you so that we both can go to the cafeteria together but here you are acting like you didn't even see me right now."
Elaine who was pissed for Bradley ignoring her voiced out.
"Actually when I saw you couples having a fun time, I didn't want to disturb you and since I was hungry for food and not love, I had to shunn everything and rush to the cafeteria."
The colour of Elaine's beautiful face kept changing from the very moment Bradley started his speech.
"Okay since you know that Elaine and I are having a fun time, why don't you scram?" Novice 1 who was quiet all this while saw an opportunity to get back at Bradley and he didn't let loose of it.
"See! I didn't want to interrupt you guys. I guess I've got to go."
"Okay I've had enough! The next time you approach me you that shitty love intention again, I would forget that you are my team member and deal with you. I would not give a damn even if I would be punished by the guild after that. Now scram!!"
The moment Elaine ended her last statement, both the Bradley and Novice 1 felt they had just escape from a lioness den. Novice who had no other option but to scram gave Bradley a deadly glance before awkwardly walking away.
Bradley looked at the angry face of Elaine and laughed.
"Hey! What's funny?
Do you want me to deal with you too?" She asked in an annoyed tone.
Bradley hurriedly shook his head. He was afraid that this Ice Princess would attack him.
"Did you know you looked hot just a moment ago?" Bradley asked her with a grin on his face.

"Wait, wait, wait. Please don't get me wrong. What I meant is not what you think."
When he saw that Elaine was going to outburst again when he said she hot, he hurriedly tried to explain himself.
"Okay so what did you mean?" She asked as she got closer to him slowly
"Actually, earlier, when you were agitated by Novice 1 and what he said, I saw that your white pale skin turned red and you were sweating too so I thought you were feeling hot." He innocently explain himself.
"So you mean to say I'm not hot right now right?" She looked at her figure which millions of girls would die for and asked Bradley.
Bradley too took time a brief scan of Elaine and nodded
"You are not as hot as you were earlier. You are slowly turning back your cold self. But I prefer you being hot."
Elaine looked at Bradley for a while and burst into laughter.
"I never knew you were that ignorant and stupid. Go find other girls and tell them they are hot and see how they will react. Whether I'm laughing or frowning, I know that hot. Even my mirror tells me."
Bradley got himself confused by the thing he started himself.
"By the way let's get going. I'm a little bit hungry."
They both set off to the cafeteria.
"Excuse me. You are hot." Bradley tried what Elaine told him when he saw a sweating lady on their way to the cafeteria.
The girl looked at Bradley with a lustful eyes and approached him.
"I would be waiting for you in room 126 in dorm D." The lady whispered into Bradley's ear and left.
"Why should I meet her in her room?"
He asked out of confusion
