Suddenly, his body warmed by a few degrees, and without anyone noticing, a small change—one that would affect his entire life—occurred within him.

Koichi didn't notice it either; he was simply stunned, staring at the new information that had appeared on the screen in disbelief.

Did that mean that just like that, without any effort at all, he had obtained not only Rank S chakra control, but also Rank B talent in Iryōninjutsu?

Is this serious?

He unconsciously tightened his grip on Sakura's arm, making her look at him curiously, not understanding that action.

What happened?

Sakura looked at his face in confusion, noticing his strange gaze, without knowing what was going on. "Koichi-san? Are you alright? Do you feel nauseous?" She asked, her voice somewhat apprehensive.

Fortunately, her voice brought him back.

Koichi observed her closely, with even more attention. Now, in his eyes, she was no longer just Sakura from the anime, but a real person—a talented medical ninja and the Hokage's apprentice. Above all, a source of power that was now becoming his best foundation for the future.

"I'm fine, yes, just a little nausea, but it's already gone." He smiled, freeing himself from her hands.

He wasn't lying. His head really was buzzing, and his focus slightly distorted. But it was probably the effect of some medication, or the fracture in his head.

Sakura nodded, stepping back. "Your reflexes look good, and the concussion is healing well. Do you remember what happened? The mission?" She asked curiously.

There were many ninjas who arrived injured from missions, but head injuries were rare, which was why Koichi had been treated urgently when he arrived.

"My mission?" Koichi narrowed his eyes, trying to remember. Even though he had already recovered some parts of his memory, some things were still missing, and without proper stimulation, they could be lost forever.

A few seconds passed, when suddenly, he received a flash of memory.

"Ah, right, I remember!" He said, sitting up on the hospital bed again.

Sakura suddenly sat down as well, curious about the story of this boy who didn't seem much older than her.

"We were in a squad providing protection for a business magnate, but we were attacked by rogue ninjas on the road." He murmured, beginning to remember.

"I stayed behind with three teammates to hold them off, while the client escaped with two guards." He continued, recalling the chaotic combat at that time. "There were many bandits, attacking together. At some point during the assault, I was hit by something massive on the head, and when I realized I was losing consciousness, I escaped along with the others." He said, making his head throb with the sudden memories.

"Luckily, the others who were escorting the client had already escaped several minutes earlier, so they're probably fine." He sighed, feeling the pain ease a little.

Sakura's eyes shone when she heard that. "I think I heard something about it." She said excitedly, drawing Koichi's attention. "It seems that everyone who participated in the mission is fine, and the mission was successfully completed by the rest of the squad." She smiled. "In addition to the full payment, that client also donated a large bonus to Konoha, which will be used to improve the village orphanage."

"Really?" Koichi's eyes lit up, placing his hands on Sakura's shoulders, but he quickly composed himself, stepping back a little.

He didn't know why he had done that, but his reaction had been completely automatic, without any control.

"I'm sorry, I got a bit excited." He gave a small, slightly embarrassed smile.

Sakura shook her head. "It's fine." She didn't mind, continuing. "Since you're better, I'll return to my work. You'll need to stay here for one more day under observation, and if you continue to improve, you can leave tomorrow."

Koichi nodded. "Then thank you very much," he bowed his head slightly, showing his gratitude.

"It's my job." Sakura said, leaving shortly after those words, leaving Koichi alone in the room.

---

"Well... it's time to test my chakra control." Koichi smiled, excited, standing up and thinking about how he could do it. "From what I remember, my main elements are Lightning and Water..." He murmured. "But none of the jutsu from those elements are something I can use in this room." He looked around, shaking his head.

The room was simply too small.

"There's no helping it. Let's first test one of the ninja academy jutsu." Koichi thought.

Stopping in the middle of the room, he easily wove three basic hand seals, immediately feeling the difference in his chakra control. It was far more responsive and easier to guide than before.

"Clone Jutsu!"

Poof! Poof! Poof!

Three perfect Clones, with the same appearance as Koichi, appeared in the room. Each one looked as solid as the real body, making it extremely difficult to tell who the real one was among the four.

"Wow! This is incredible." Koichi touched the cheek of one of the Clones, making it tremble like a hologram.

If before his chakra felt like mud flowing through his tenketsu, now it felt like running water, flowing without any obstruction or waste.

"My chakra also seems to be in greater quantity now, making my body feel much lighter." He moved a little, but restrained himself so as not to reopen the wound on his head.

"It's a shame I don't have any Medical Ninjutsu, or I could test that too." He sighed, sitting down after dispelling the jutsu. "Either way, it's better that I recover quickly so I can integrate into this world as soon as possible..."

He lay down on the bed, closing his eyes.

"According to the system, I have the power to obtain attributes from exceptional ninjas effortlessly, at least once a month. That being the case, I need to at least think and plan carefully who my next target will be, so I don't end up drawing too much unwanted attention."

"Well, at least that's what I should do while I'm not strong enough yet... I don't want a Danzō or an Obito coming after my head too soon."

He sighed.

As he thought about this, Koichi used the rest to organize his memories, from this life and the other one. And thus, little by little, he obtained more and more information about this world, including the future events that were about to happen.
