The scene unfolding before them was enough to shock the Justice League into utter silence. Never in their wildest nightmares had they imagined Batman's ironclad contingency plans failing—not once, but twice against a single Kryptonian. Today felt like opposite day, a cruel twist of fate where the Dark Knight's genius crumbled like dry earth.

**BOOM!** A blur of black erupted awake, surging forward at supersonic speeds. It smashed into Martian Manhunter with bone-crushing force. Gasps rippled through the team as they whipped around to see the young man—clad in sleek, shadowy armored skintight bodysuit—gripping J'onn's neck, hoisting the telepath off the ground. J'onn's green skin flushed darker, his eyes bulging as he clawed futilely at the iron vise, gasping for air that wouldn't come.

"Noooooo!" Wonder Woman roared, her voice a thunderclap of maternal fury. She launched herself forward alongside Superman, their combined might a living battering ram. But the young man anticipated them with predatory grace. He twisted his body just so, driving his left knee into Superman's jaw with a sickening *crack* that sent the Man of Steel staggering back, blood trickling from his split lip. In the same fluid motion, he pivoted airborne, unleashing a swift, brutal kick that caught Wonder Woman square in the chest. She hit the ground hard, her bracelets sparking against the pavement.

"Amateurs," he sneered, his voice a low, venomous growl. He turned back to the choking Martian, eyes narrowing to slits. "Nobody messes with my memories, you green fuck."

Before he could crush J'onn's windpipe, the Flash zipped in like a crimson comet, tackling the intruder with his one unbroken arm. The miniscule gap was enough—J'onn gasped a ragged breath, his body flickering intangible as he phased free and collapsed to one knee, coughing violently.

"Motherfuc—" The young man's curse died mid-syllable as Hawkgirl and Green Lantern piled on, their maces and constructs slamming into him like a storm. Superman shook off the daze and rejoined the fray, fists flying in a desperate bid to contain the whirlwind.

Wonder Woman surged to her feet with a guttural battle cry that echoed off the skyscrapers. "You will not harm him further!" She whipped her Lasso of Truth forward, the golden coils snaking around his torso, arms, and legs like living serpents. "Arrghhhh!" she screamed through gritted teeth, muscles straining as she poured every ounce of Amazonian strength into the bind.

J'onn, recovering, shapeshifted behind her—his form swelling to a towering behemoth, green limbs wrapping around the lasso to reinforce the hold. "Hold him steady!" he rasped, voice strained from the near-strangulation. "We cannot let him—"

Batman descended from the smoke-choked skies like a specter, his cape billowing. Without a word, he hurled a metallic sphere straight at the young man's face. It detonated on impact, unleashing a torrent of shimmering green kryptonite gas that billowed outward in a toxic cloud. Superman, caught in the edge of it, inhaled sharply and dropped to his knees, clutching his chest as waves of weakness crashed over him. *This time,* the League thought in unison, hearts pounding, *surely it works.*

The gas lingered, acrid and glowing, stinging their eyes. No one dared release their grip. But as the haze finally dissipated, the sight froze their blood: the young man stood tall, still restrained by the League's founders, but his expression was pure disdain—a smug *really?* etched across his sharp features. The kryptonite had fizzled against him like water on stone.

"I have superspeed," he drawled in flawless Kryptonian, his voice dripping with mockery. Only Superman and Supergirl caught the words, but the chilling truth hung in the air for all. "The moment that green shit entered my vision, I held my breath. Plenty of time to guess what it was."

Batman's eyes widened beneath his cowl, a rare crack in his stoic facade. "Impossible," he muttered, voice laced with disbelief.

Through it all, Kara Zor-El—Supergirl—stood apart, a silent statue amid the chaos. Her arms hung limp at her sides, super-hearing picking up every grunt, every strained breath from her cousin's colleagues, her idols. Restraining a fellow Kryptonian, someone from her lost world—it tore at her like razor wire. Only months ago, she'd arrived on this blue marble, shattering her into grief when she learned Krypton was gone, vaporized in a cosmic cataclysm. The pain still clawed her chest nightly, a hollow ache for family, for home. This young man's arrival had ignited a fragile spark: *Maybe there are more. Survivors. A piece of Krypton breathing still.* But witnessing this brutal spectacle? It twisted hope into despair. *Why fight like animals? He's one of us.*

Her gaze drifted upward, snagging on a billboard atop a nearby skyscraper. The image there—Glaringly dumb but unmistakable—shook her to her core. Her eyes widened, breath hitching. Turmoil churned inside her, grief and longing battling fear.

In that heartbeat of distraction, the young man erupted. Rage boiled over, raw and primal—a storm of betrayal from violated memories. With a savage twist, he yanked Wonder Woman forward like a ragdoll, using her momentum to fling her into Green Lantern. The domino effect rippled: Flash tumbled, Hawkgirl soared into a wall with a crunch of masonry, J'onn phased involuntarily under the strain. Superman lunged last, only to eat a heat vision blast that seared across his shoulder, dropping him smoking to the ground.

Huffing, chest heaving with barely contained fury, the young man locked eyes on Martian Manhunter once more. He stalked forward, boots cracking pavement with each deliberate step. "You thought you could rifle through my head? Dig into my memories ?" His voice cracked with venomous hurt, fists clenched white-knuckled. "Try phasing through the *sun's power*, motherfucker."

Steps away, his eyes ignited—twin crimson suns promising annihilation. Even intangibility wouldn't save J'onn this time; the heat would vaporize him on a molecular level.

Just as the beam surged forward, a red-and-white blur streaked in. Supergirl seized his face, palms cupping his cheeks with desperate gentleness. Then, heart pounding, she crushed her lips to his.

The young man faltered, eyes flying wide in stunned shock. The heat vision sputtered out, fizzling into harmless sparks. Her kiss deepened, soft and insistent, tasting of salt from her unshed tears and the faint ozone of battle. *Her lips... they're so soft,* his mind blanked, rage dissolving into a stupor of warmth he'd long forgotten.

The Justice League gaped, weapons half-raised, but held back. The attacker had stopped—miraculously.

Moments later, Kara pulled away, cheeks flushed crimson, eyes shimmering with a mix of hope and plea. "Be calm, okay?" she whispered in Kryptonian, voice trembling with raw emotion. "You're not alone here. Not anymore."

He blinked dumbly, the fire in his gaze dimming to embers. Then, slowly, he nodded, a ghost of vulnerability cracking his armored facade. Kara's lips curved into a small, radiant smile—the first spark of kinship in a sea of loss.

( Incase y'all didn't understand the Billboard was an ad of protection against unwanted pregnancy so ahem... They were kissing- people in it )
