Shiv's eyes were glued to the large monitor in the waiting room. Piya, from Class BB, was utterly dominating a Class A student.
She was the same girl who had attacked Kavya earlier. Looking at her moves on the screen, her skills didn't seem like Class BB level at all—they looked straight-up Class A.
"This girl's skills are insane... her opponent can't even stand his ground properly," Shiv remarked to Krishna Verma, who was standing nearby.
Krishna looked at Shiv in surprise. "Shiv, do you really know nothing about Piya? Did Veer or Kavya never tell you?"
"Nope. What's the deal?" Shiv asked with curiosity.
Krishna took a deep breath and pointed toward the monitor. "Piya's full name is Piya Agnihotri. She is Kavya's younger sister."
The ground seemed to slip from beneath Shiv's feet. "What? Little sister? Then what is she doing in Class BB?"
"Listen," Krishna said gravely. "Everything was fine between them as kids. But during the Academy entrance test, an accident happened.
Because of one mistake by Kavya, Piya was severely injured—she had to stay in the hospital for weeks. Her year was ruined and her scores dropped, which is why she ended up in Class BB."
Just then, the announcer declared Piya Agnihotri the winner. She returned to the waiting room but completely ignored Shiv, sitting down with her own class.
Shiv went straight to Kavya, who was sitting alone in a corner. "Kavya, I need to ask you something. What happened between you and Piya?"
At first, Kavya blushed slightly, thinking Shiv was asking her out. But her face fell the moment she heard the question. "Why do you want to know?"
"Because I am your friend," Shiv said firmly.
Kavya lowered her gaze. "During the entrance test, we had to pass through a jungle. The rule was not to touch any animals.
I messed up and touched an innocent rabbit. It panicked and ran, chewing through the wires in the test room, which sparked a massive fire."
Kavya's voice began to tremble.
"Suddenly, a lion attacked us. Piya was fighting it alone, but I froze in fear. When she reached out for help, I ran away... I watched that lion tear into her, bloodying her up, but I didn't stop."
Shiv was stunned into silence.
"The teachers saved her, but she had a deep spinal injury. After the surgery, the doctors said she might never do martial arts again. But she didn't give up. Ever since then, she has hated me because I left her there to die."
Suddenly, an announcement boomed: "From Waiting Room No. 1, Veer Bacchan vs. from Waiting Room No. 2, Vasuki Singh!"
"Come on, Veer. Show them your real power," Shiv whispered, his eyes locked on the monitor.
In the ring, Vasuki Singh flashed a villainous grin. "Today, I'll beat you and prove who is truly No. 1."
Vasuki unleashed a barrage of Karate and Judo moves, landing a brutal kick, but Veer dodged it with lightning speed. "You're too slow, Vasuki."
Vasuki spun instantly and activated his skill, 'Wind Crack.' His punch tore through Veer's defense. Veer blocked, but Vasuki leaped into the air and landed a spinning kick right on Veer's face—THWACK!
Veer slid back, blood trickling from his lip. "I have to admit, you've studied me well," Veer said, wiping the blood away. "But now, the real fight begins."
Veer doubled his speed to 2x. He threw a chakra-energy punch; Vasuki jumped to dodge, but before he could land, Veer caught him with a 'Question Mark Kick' that sent him flying.
Vasuki crashed outside the ring but bounced back instantly, hurling Veer into a corner with a 'Round Capoeira Kick.'
"How are you even standing?" Veer asked in shock.
Vasuki smirked. "That's the magic of my 'Wind Crack.' Wind doesn't just flow—it slices!"
Veer ignored the pain and closed the distance. "I get it now—your real skill is 'Pain Transfer'! You're shifting your pain onto me!"
Vasuki burst into laughter. "Exactly! How does my pain feel? Now the fun begins!"
[Waiting Room No. 4]
"What? Why does Veer look so weak?" Drup asked anxiously.
Krishna smiled. "Drup, Veer won this match the second he stepped into that ring."
"But Vasuki is transferring his pain!" Drup shouted.
Shiv added with a faint smile, "Veer is intentionally drawing out Vasuki's skill just to show me what he's made of."
[Back to the Ring]
Vasuki advanced toward Veer. "The more you hit me, the more it will hurt you!"
However, there was no pain on Veer's face—only a strange smile. Suddenly, electricity began to crackle over Veer's body. He vanished so quickly that Vasuki's eyes couldn't track him.
Veer appeared behind him and slammed an 'Axe Kick' into Vasuki's shoulder—CRUNCH! Vasuki's feet sank into the ground. Without stopping, Veer unleashed a flurry of internal strikes to his neck and stomach.
"Why isn't my skill working?" Vasuki screamed, spitting blood.
Seconds later, Vasuki collapsed, unconscious.
"Winner: Veer Bacchan!"
Krishna explained, "Vasuki's skill only transfers external injuries. Veer targeted his internal organs, which he couldn't transfer!"
Then, the announcer's voice thundered: "From Waiting Room No. 2, Sheeta Chaudhary vs. from Waiting Room No. 4, Shiv Chandravanshi!"
A dead silence fell over the entire arena. The name 'Chandravanshi' made everyone's breath hitch.
In the waiting room, Piya Agnihotri's eyes widened. "That's the guy who was with Kavya? I thought he was just some average student!" She clenched her fists in rage.
