"Professor." Gideon rose from his seat. "I'm interested in that boy."
"Why don't you go talk to him? I can tell you that he's an interesting boy. He has a few secrets that might interest you too," Owen replied in a relaxed voice, leaning back in his chair and pouring himself some coffee into the cup he had been using.
"You're not going to tell me those secrets, are you?" Gideon glanced at him sideways.
Owen shrugged, laughing. "I don't even know them myself."
"That's amazing." Gideon turned to look at Edward once more.
"Anyway, I don't think it'll take you long to figure them out. Some people seem to be moving against him..." Owen scoffed. "Well, it's ever the same. No Lux can live peacefully in this world."
Gideon nodded slightly, understanding the meaning of Owen's words. Still, he simply smiled.
"It wouldn't be the first time my regiment has had a Lux, you know?" Gideon turned and headed for the door, intending to return to his place.
