Edward took a step back, almost stumbling until he fell.
His eyes filled with alarm and his body trembled.
Instantly, the sword appeared in his hand. He gripped it as tightly as he could, before swinging it at a puppet that appeared in front of his body.
CLANK!
Even with all his strength, the reinforced material the puppet was made of couldn't be pierced with a single blow. He left marks on the body and pushed it away, but failed to "kill" it.
The puppet staggered backward and fell into the middle of a group of young people.
"Ahh!" The scream reverberated and woke up all the stunned students, their bodies began to tremble.
Those who had no combat experience backed away, wanting to run.
Others, more determined, threw themselves frantically and without strategy into combat against the puppets... They had in mind that, being puppets, they only had to tear off or cut off their heads... those failed immediately.
