The Hokage's residence was quiet.
Too quiet.
Naruto shut the door behind them, the heavy wood sealing out the world. He hadn't even turned around before Sakura pressed him gently against it.
"Well," she said softly, fingers curling into his cloak, "that meeting took longer than expected."
Naruto swallowed. "You were watching the whole time."
"I always do."
She kissed him first this time—slow, deliberate. Not desperate. Not rushed. Just full of intent.
Naruto's hands found her waist automatically, thumbs brushing bare skin where her top had shifted. The touch sent a familiar heat through them both.
"Sakura…" he murmured.
She smiled against his lips. "Relax, Hokage-sama. This is just us."
They moved together toward the bedroom, laughter low, kisses lingering, hands exploring what they already knew by heart. The night stretched on, unhurried and intimate, filled with whispered promises and shared warmth.
By morning, the village could wait.
