We were all teasing and laughing when keifer was regretting coming to school....suddenly we heard yelling and some loud noises coming from the hallway...
All cafeteria became quiet.... someone from section A came towards us and said...
" Section E...calix ...calix from your section is fighting with mica and some boys from section B .. come fast"
We all stood up as fast as we can ....
Keifer: calix ?? He is fighting ?
Yuri : before calculating the situation let's go there...
All the cafeteria went towards the hallway while I stood there...shit !!! While teasing keifer I nearly forgot about the rumour that Freya wanted to create...I took my phone and without wasting any time ran there ....
In the hallway
As we reached I saw mica crying there and calix was fighting with some boys...his face was bruised...all the students were watching the fun without stopping them ... suddenly keifer lunged forward....
Keifer: calix ...what the hell are you creating the mess !!! Stop fighting!!
Calix: don't stop me keifer...I am gonna beat them up ..
Yuri : what happened bro !?
Suddenly calix 's expression changed... from rage to anger..hurt... betrayal...the reason ? I knew it exactly...
Suddenly a clap echoed in the hallway....we saw freya standing against the wall clapping like it was a cinema.... Freya..that girl mastermind behind all the things said sarcastically...
Freya: wow !!! Oscar worthy acting!!! Amazing..the one behind all of this is now asking what happened??
Ci-n: what do you mean?
Freya just laughed and said...
Freya: well smart kid ...put your intelligence here ...can't you understand what I am speaking about??
Rory: bro ..can you speak clearly!????
Mayo: how can she speak clearly? After all she is edrix 's crush! He and Freya use the same WiFi while speaking..it will glitch right??
In that situation also we chuckled... edrix glared at Mayo...
Freya: stop the fuck up !!! First of all I am not anyone 's bro and second of all haven't you guys seen the School ' face gram page??
Kit : why ? If we watch that will anyone give us free food?

Before anyone could say anything suddenly edrix shouted..
Edrix: noway!! Guys !! See this photo....
Section E gathered around Edrix, trying to see what he was showing on his phone.
My eyes fell on the screen.
Even though I already knew what it was... my heart still tightened.
It was a blurry picture of Yuri and Mica.
The angle was perfect — dangerously perfect.
They were standing very close.Too close.
From the way it was captured, it looked like their faces were inches apart... almost as if they were about to kiss.
Anyone who didn't know the full story would immediately think they were in a romantic moment.
And that was the problem.Because everyone already believed it.
Section E went silent.
The kind of silence that feels heavy.
Yuri stood frozen, still trying to process what he was seeing.
The photo was already trending in the school group.
Mica slowly lowered her head.
Her fingers trembled.....In a small, broken whisper, she said—
Mica:I didn't... do anything...
Freya walked toward us, barely hiding her excitement.
Freya:So, Section E... you believe it now, right?
Around us, students from other sections began whispering.
"Omg... Mica really did that?"
"I thought she was innocent."
"She's two-timing them."
"Well, Yuri is more handsome than Calix."

Section E slowly lowered their heads.....Kiefer looked away.
Yuri's eyes turned red, tears gathering but refusing to fall.

Kiefer spoke.
His voice was firm.
Kiefer: I don't believe this picture. It's edited. Yuri would never do something like this.
David nodded immediately.
David:Yeah. I trust him.
Felix: Yuri has never used anyone. I know him.
Everyone looked at Calix.
He hadn't spoken yet....His hands were clenched....His voice, when it came out, was quiet... but broken.
Calix: I want to believe them too.
He swallowed hard.
Calix:But the picture doesn't look edited.
Silence.....Calix continued, his voice shaking.
Calix: You think I'd trust a picture over my best friend... and my soulmate?
Mica's shoulders trembled.
Calix: I tried to find the truth before reacting. I checked the date. The location. Everything.
He looked at us
Calix: The photo is real. It was taken last month.
His voice cracked.
Calix: So tell me... what am I supposed to believe?
Pause.
Calix: I... don't know what's right anymore.
Mica started crying silently.
Yuri finally spoke, his voice hoarse.
Yuri: we really did nothing....as far I remember...that day I was standing beside the corridor waiting for keifer and Jayden...mica was with Freya and ella...they were talking about something.... suddenly mica slipped and fell forward...I caught her in no time and within a second we drifted apart,.. nothing more happened that day .....their were others present also in the corridor...but whoever posted it must have cropped this ...
Freya scoffed.
Freya: Wow. Nice story.
Before anyone could react—
I stepped forward.
Jay : Enough.
Everyone went quiet.... section E looked at me ...
I looked at Edrix.
Jay :Zoom the picture.
He did.
I pointed at the corner.
Jay : Shadow angle is wrong. Light source is from the right, but their shadows fall left and forward.
Pause.
Jay : This wasn't edited.
Everyone froze.... Mica let out a broken cry like her Last thread of hope was also taken... calix covered his mouth...
Freya smirked.
Freya:See—
I finished calmly.
Jay : It was cropped.
Section E looked at me immediately...
Kiefer stepped forward immediately, pointing at the screen.
Kiefer: It's cropped, right? See? I told you!
Freya's confident expression faltered for a second.
Freya: Wait... wait, wait. What do you mean cropped? What proof do you have?
Her eyes shifted toward me.
Then she straightened, forcing a laugh.
Freya: Jayden, listen. I'm warning you. Don't interfere in this.
She crossed her arms, her voice turning sharp.
Freya: You should be ashamed of your friends... and your section.
She smirked.
Freya: what do you think? Beating Kiko made you a hero?
She let out a mocking laugh.
Freya: No. It didn't. Because Kiko didn't have the courage to stand against you.
She stepped closer.
Freya: But me? I'm not the same. I don't back down.
Her voice dropped, filled with arrogance.
Freya : No one has the courage to speak against me.
I cut her off....Calm...Cold.
Jay: But I do.
The hallway went silent.
I took a step forward, meeting her eyes.
Jay: I have the courage to bring out the truth... and show it to everyone standing here.
A pause.
My voice lowered, steady and firm.
Jay: I don't know who's afraid of you.
Another step.
Jay: But I'm not.
I looked straight at her....
Jay: And honestly?
A small, fearless smile.
Jay: I don't give a damn about your threats...
The hallway became quiet.....Not normal quiet.....Heavy quiet.
More students gathered around. Phones were out. Whispers stopped.
Section E stood behind me, holding their breath.
Freya narrowed her eyes.
Freya: What do you mean?
I let out a soft chuckle....Slow.....Controlled.
Jay: You're that eager to watch your own humiliation?
A small tilt of my head.
Jay: Well... alright. I don't mind.
I took out my phone and turned toward the crowd.
Jay: I'm about to play a video. Watch it carefully.
Freya's expression shifted.
Freya: Wait—what video? What are you talking about? Stop this stupid drama—
My voice cut through the hallway.
Sharp....Cold.
Jay: Shut the fuck Up.
Silence exploded....Even the air felt tense.
For a second—just one second—Freya's confident mask cracked.
And I saw it.....Fear....I smirked.
Without wasting another moment, I pressed play.
The screen showed the girls' washroom entrance area.
Freya and Ella were standing there, unaware they were being recorded.
At first, their voices were faint.
Murmurs.....Laughter.
Then the audio cleared.
Freya's face drained of color.
Her fingers trembled.
Before she could open her mouth—
The voices became crystal clear..
In the video
Freya: Once this picture spreads, Section E will destroy itself.....Calix will definitely doubt them. He's emotional....And Yuri? He'll break. I just needed the perfect angle. Cropping does wonders..Let them fight among themselves. I don't even have to do anything else...
Ella: Freya! Stop this stupid thing...you shouldn't do this...you are crossing you limits!!!
Freya: ( laughing) and ...you think you will command me and I will just listen!! What the heck !
The video ended....
Silence...Dead silence.
Freya looked like she couldn't breathe.
Section E slowly stepped forward as one.
Jay : so ...what will you do now ?? Freya hidalgo! Queen bee of section A !
Freya: I -
A tight slap landed on her cheek making all of us gasp...it was none other than mica ...
Mica's eyes were red with anger and hurt as she stepped forward.
Mica: How dare you do this, Freya?! I... I thought we were friends! But you... you betrayed me. You made me look like a cheater. You tried to break us! You... you played with our trust!
Freya remained silent, but her eyes were still throwing daggers at me.
Calix spoke next, his voice calm but firm.
Calix: Freya... even if we were never on good terms with you, you still shouldn't have done something like this.
Whispers spread among the students.
"This is too much..."
"She planned everything..."
"That's disgusting..."
Freya crossed her arms, trying to act like she wasn't at fault at all, her expression stubborn and defensive.
Before anyone could say anything else, Mica suddenly ran toward me.
She hugged me tightly.
Her grip trembled as she broke down, sobbing loudly against my shoulder.
Mica : Thank you, Jayden... thank you so much. If it weren't for you, our relationship wouldn't have survived. Everyone would have believed I was a cheater... Yuri would have been blamed... Section E... and most importantly, Calix... our friendship would have been broken.
Her voice cracked as she held onto me.
Mica (whispering): Thank you for stepping in... even if it meant meddling. Thank you, Jayden.
Jay : don't say sorry mica we are friends...and most importantly section E is my family...it's my duty to protect them...
Calix and yuri smiled through their tears...they came to me and gave me a bone crushing hug ....
Behind her, I could see the rest of Section E looking at me—this time not with chaos or teasing—
But with trust....And relief....For the first time, the hallway didn't feel like a battlefield....Section E stood together.....Stronger than before....
