Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: Really from the Main Family?

"Rotation!"

Neji immediately used Rotation to deflect the attack.

Hiashi's figure landed at that exact moment, as light as a feather.

He drew the dainichi gatsukiri from his waist.

Clang!

A Kunai deflected by Neji was easily swatted away by the blade of the dainichi gatsukiri, flying far away and disappearing into the darkness.

Neji has already learned Rotation?

"I didn't expect you to have learned Rotation already, that's truly impressive, Neji!"

Hiashi's tone carried a hint of gratification.

"However, next time you use it, remember to pay more attention to your teammates' positions."

After speaking, Hiashi looked at Toroi Saburou and the dozen or so Hidden Mist Ninja. Behind them, a sneaky shadow was lurking near the Byakugan's maximum range.

Hmph, no wonder the Hyuga Clan is becoming increasingly decadent.

These old farts are timid in public fights, but brave in private ones, suppressing the young people within the clan, and boosting the prestige of outsiders. They truly are good old dogs for foreigners.

Hiashi also recognized that person; he was one of the Hyuga Clan elders.

Those old geezers are really tired of living.

He wondered if Hinata and Hanabi had been troubled by them in the Village, but with Naruto nearby, they probably wouldn't dare to act.

"Neji, don't hold back!"

Hiashi shouted, then sheathed his sword, preparing to charge forward.

His most formidable attack method was still Gentle Fist. He didn't use this sword often anyway; for Hiashi, its commemorative significance outweighed its practical use.

"Clan Head, don't panic, we're here to help you!"

"Tokuma, with you and me, brothers, we will surely ensure the Clan Head's safety!"

"Homon is right!"

Two figures rapidly approached, none other than Hyuga Tokuma and Hyuga Homon.

"A-da! Burn, youth! Neji, we're here to help you! Guy-sensei will be right behind us!"

A green whirlwind, accompanied by a characteristic strange yell, charged over with extremely exaggerated yet exceptionally swift movements, leaving a trail of dust. It was Rock Lee, Might Guy's most youthful disciple!

Close behind, another agile figure landed gracefully.

Tenten's hands were already pressed on a giant scroll, her sharp eyes scanning the battlefield.

The other two members of Team Guy also arrived just in time to provide support.

Meanwhile, in Genshi's office.

Bang!

The heavy office door was violently smashed open by a brute force.

A green figure, moving faster than the eye could follow, surged in like a cannonball, trailing hot air currents and swirling dust.

Genshi's wrinkled eyelids snapped open, and a rare, undisguised look of astonishment flickered in his world-weary, profound eyes.

Before he could react, the green figure had teleported across half the room, abruptly appearing in front of the Hidden Mist elder!

Their noses were almost touching, separated by mere millimeters!

Might Guy: O_o

Genshi: o_O

Time seemed to freeze at this moment.

Genshi's body instinctively tilted backward, trying to distance himself from this overly 'intimate' and oppressive proximity.

His age-spotted hand unconsciously tightened around the cold shaft of the snake-headed staff, a symbol of his status, resting on the table's edge, his knuckles slightly white.

Guy's hot breath almost sprayed onto Genshi's face.

His green jumpsuit was particularly conspicuous in the dim light.

Maintaining this aggressive 'face-to-face' posture, he bared his teeth, revealing two rows of gleaming white teeth, his gaze still fixed intently on Genshi's unfathomably deep eyes.

After a brief, suffocating silence, Genshi's ancient and steady voice finally broke:

"Distinguished guest..."

He paused, seemingly choosing his words carefully, his gaze calmly meeting Guy's overly 'intense' stare.

"Visiting late at night, what is the meaning of this?"

"Lord Genshi."

Guy's voice uncharacteristically adopted a solemn, even serious tone.

He took a small step back, still very close, but finally giving Genshi a bit of breathing room and shifting the conversation's atmosphere from pure oppression to a substantive exchange.

He looked directly into Genshi's eyes and said, word by word, "Actually, we're here this time for another matter. A matter concerning Konoha's internal affairs, and... possibly involving the peace of Hidden Mist."

Guy's voice continued, carrying the heavy resolve of exposing a family scandal: "According to the intelligence we've gathered, this person has not only betrayed Konoha but is also very likely... colluding with some individuals within the Hidden Mist Village!"

"This news is a family disgrace for the Hyuga Clan, and I only just found out about it."

Guy's tone was filled with heartache and anger. Clearly, he found it utterly despicable that a traitor had emerged from the Hyuga Clan, self-proclaimed as Konoha's strongest noble clan, potentially implicating an allied Village.

A Hyuga rogue Ninja?

That must be a member of the Main Family, because members of the Hyuga Branch Family, from the moment the Caged Bird Seal was carved upon them, their lives and freedom no longer belonged to themselves.

Once deemed a rogue Ninja, there's no need for pursuit; the Main Family merely needs to activate the curse mark. That curse mark, deeply embedded in the soul, would instantly activate from a thousand miles away, like the coldest executioner, wiping out their existence!

The so-called 'escape' is simply an impossible luxury for the Branch Family.

A Hyuga traitor capable of reaching the Land of Water's border, or even infiltrating the Hidden Mist's heartland to seek refuge, could only be one identity—a core member of the Main Family, unbranded by the seal!

So that's it... that mysterious person who secretly contacted me, making numerous promises, claiming to be able to provide the secrets of the Byakugan and internal intelligence on Konoha's Hyuga... he really is a core member of the Hyuga Main Family!

Genshi's eyes flickered with a strange light.

The price offered by the other party was simply too... 'generous,' even appearing somewhat 'cheap,' to the point that it gave the astute Genshi a slight illusion.

Could this be a desperate individual from the Branch Family, with a special status, extraordinary talent, and ambition so great that they dared to challenge the taboo of the Caged Bird Seal?

After all, only those who are cornered and have nothing to lose would throw out all their chips so recklessly, just to gain a slim chance of survival.

Because he suspected the other party was from the Branch Family and that cooperating with him might be a scam, Genshi didn't agree.

He didn't expect him to actually be from the Main Family.

This left Genshi feeling an extremely absurd, almost comical, confusion.

That's strange. The Hyuga Main Family is considered high-ranking in Konoha, so why do they act as if they've never seen or eaten anything good? They give a lot and ask for little, which doesn't look like someone who has ever been wealthy.

At the time, Genshi's evaluation of them was, "They give a lot, ask for little, and don't look like they've ever been wealthy."

He didn't expect them to actually be the wealthy lords of the Hyuga Main Family.

It seems that apart from the Clan Head, the rest of the Hyuga Main Family only dares to act tough within their own nest.

Outwardly, they truly have the demeanor of the current Sandaime, but the Sandaime at least has a bottom line, while they don't even have that.

And Hyuga Hiashi doesn't seem like a weakling, so why do the other members of the Main Family act like poodles?
