"My name is Bulma Brief and if you are hearing this message, my calculations were slightly off"
She went quiet for a moment and bowed slightly.
"My bad."
The team was now listening attentively.
"Well where should I start, I guess the beginning is a good place."
The screen changed to show a battlefield, an army was overwhelming the defenses of a military base, what was special about it was the individuals who were leading the assault.
One was a blonde man with blue eyes, who was using some kind of telekinesis to stop the soldiers for firing before killing then and another a big and muscular man wearing sunglasses and lifting a tank with his hands.
"The Red Ribbon army was a military force that sunk the world into war, they used enhanced humas and powerful cyborgs to cause devastation all over the planet and almost successfully took over"
Watching the images the team understood they were watching the history of another reality, the justice league had experienced dimensional travel before so they weren't as surprised by the revelation.
Still the tough of a military having access to superpowered soldiers was fridning.
"The main scientist of the army was a man famous in the field of robotics, his name was dr Gero, he and a few others like dr Flanpe worked on a special project."
An image of an old man with a big mustache and long hair appeared on the screen.
"Using the resources of the Red Ribbon army the doctor obtained hundreds if not thousands of test subjects, that he used to create more androids"
She appeared again on the screen.
"Yes I said androids and not cyborgs, that is the designation he gave them, why you ask? Because once he finished modification they were no longer considered human."
Megan couldn't help to speak.
"That is so cruel."
The others agreed and kept listening.
"As you may have guessed, he was a big piece of shit, he killed so many people and only gave number designations to his successful products, we know of 20 androids created, including the doctor himself."
Wally who loved science and dreamed of becoming a scientist himself was in disbelief.
"So many for such a low succes rate, that is beyond deranged"
"The methods were brutal but the results were impressive, this androids were powerful and ruthless, tools for the army to spread it's power throughout the world"
Again imagines of different battles were shown.
"When the world was wondering what was going to happen next, he appeared."
An image of a young boy with crazy hair and a tail was shown on the screen.
"Even as a kid he was the greatest hero of our world an alien sent to conquer us that grew to love our planet and fought to protect it, he single handedly defeated the leadership of the Red Ribbon army and destroyed their androids putting an end to their ambitions"
Robin smiled and said.
"Doesn't that sound familiar, an alien sent to a planet and becoming it's greatest hero"
The others laughed at tbe irony, forgetting for a second where they were standing and the situation they were in.
"When they fell we thought that was the end, years passed other threats, assassins, demons an even the very same aliens who sent Goku to conquer us."
Videos of cities being destroyed and diferent kinds of aliens and warriors appeared on the screen.
"Other warriors joined Goku and faced the danger and together they brought peace to our world"
Again the teenagers felt the parallels between the two worlds.
"We didn't know that doctor Gero had survived and he was plotting his revenge, until it was too late."
Sadness showed on her face as she continued.
"Two new androids appeared wearing the mark of the Red Ribbon army, they killed every warrior who tried to stop them, after years of studying them, Gero was able to make them almost unstoppable, my husband and my friends were slaughtered by these monsters when we were vulnerable."
An image of a grown up Goku appeared next.
"Our strongest defender died before the battle even started, a heart disease found too late, by the time we found out about it we didn't have time to save him and while we were mourning, they attacked us, one by one our defenders fell."
They could picture it, superman dying and his enemies taking advantage of the chaos to attack the league and the other heroes.
"Later we learned that while he created the androids to be extremely powerful, he failed to create a way to control them completely, so the first one to die at their hand was the doctor himself."
Superboy could understand a little bit, if he had managed to escape Cadmus by himself he would have probably done the same to the scientist there.
Artemis commented sarcastically.
"So he got himself killed by the monsters he created, poetic if not dumb."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"The first few years after they killed the warriors were quiet, but slowly things began to change, the two androids started to show up in cities, at first they just behaved like teenagers reveling against the world, stealing and damaging property, then it escalated, with no one capable of stopping them they started killing people for entertainment, police the army and governments were powerless."
Videos of arm forces attacking something in the distance and getting slaughtered were show.
A few laser shots later the battlefield was silent, in the distance you could see 2 pairs of eyes looking coldly to the camera before another shot cut the recording.
"Wherever they went death followed, they didn't declare themselves rulers or demand money or obedience, they just treated the lives of others like toys for their amusement, entire cities were converted into graveyards in hours"
It was a very grim tale, being super heroes even young ones, they felt sadness and anger, while watching a world slowly perishing.
"Only two warriors were left to figth against them, one was the son of Goku and the other was my own son"
Again the screen changed to a photo of a man wearing an orange martial arts outfit and a kid wearing a blue shirt and jeans."
"Gohan trained my son and together in a rare moment in wich the androids separated for a while, they attacked android 17."
Bulma paused as a tear fell from her eye.
"My son died that day and so did Gohan, but they managed to take n17 with them"
The screen now showed a strange looking yellow machine.
"I attempted to create a time machine to go back and alter the past, but no matter what I did some kind of energy prevented me from going back in time, so I decided to do something diferent"
The fact that she casually mentioned creating a time machine showed then her level of intelligence and resources, they saw a few logos around showing the name Capsule Corp and they guessed it was either her company or she was their main scientist.
"While I was working on my project the surviving Android went on a rampage, destroying not only cities but any town village of even house it could find."
The destruction was on a scale that gave them chills just thinking about it.
"It took me a while but I tracked down and visited dr Gero's lab and found his notes in a sub lab and besides killing his secret project before it could hatch I found a way to temporarily stop the android, they have a deactivation device that allowed the doctor to shut them down for a while, also a containment chamber that could keep them asleep"
The image of a remote and a metal sarcophagus showed on the monitors.
"The problem was that by the time Gero was killed they have already started to adapt to this countermeasures and they were becoming less and less effective, lasting shorter times and being harder to shut them down, they also used to have a bomb inside their bodies but for some reason that is not the case anymore."
Now the screen changed into an image of the lab with the machine recreated in the middle of the room, Bulma walked towards it as the video continued.
"My plan is simple, I will trap her inside this chamber and send her to another dimension, if my calculations are right the place she will arrive should be an empty world already destroyed by a cataclysmic event, I could try to kill her but she is very resilient and I only have one chance to do this"
She smiled and winked at the screen.
"So again if someone is watching this, sorry maybe I should had added that five after all, my bad."
The all wanted to punch her as she smiled nonchalantly while saying she sent them a killer cyborg by accident.
"So to make up for it, I included all the information we have about the androids to help you deal with this one, well everything except the schematics of their creation, we don't want anyone on your side trying to make more of these right? "
In that they agreed, on the top of their heads they could think of many super villains who would love to have this technology, no matter how many lives they would need to sacrifice to use it.
Robin spoke as soon as the video stopped.
"I've downloaded the information, it will take a while for us to used it to create something useful."
Aqualad decided to inform the team of the next steps.
"We should inform the league immediately and wait for their response"
Wally jumped in immediately.
"Why?, this is our mission we can handle it."
Artemis stepped up and jammed her finger against his chest.
"Did you miss the part where this thing killed all the heroes in that world"
"Sound like a slightly more powerful Amazo and we defeated him, we actually kicked his ass faster than the league"
Robin also chimed in.
"Is already been a few days since this guys were killed, how long before a city is attacked? We should do something before people are hurt."
Artemis didn't back down.
"Look around you, we cannot go blindly against something that can do something like this"
Superboy talked while looking around.
"I could do something like it if I wanted, it doesn't mean she is stronger than us."
Aqualad responded.
"It also doesn't mean it is weaker, underestimating an unknown enemy is foolish, but we can compromise"
They moved towards the ship and he explained as they boarded.
"We will track the android while Robin checks the data recovered on the lab, at the same time we will send a message to the league with the details of what we found."
They agreed and started moving.
Once inside the ship Robin uploaded the information and check the images attached to the files.
"So this is our killer android"
An image of a blonde girl with blue eyes and a frowning face was displayed.
Kid flash commented quickly.
"Wow she is quite a babe."
He got elbowed in the ribs by Artemis.
"That babe killed millions in her home dimension."
"Ok sorry, sorry, ouch I think you broke something."
Miss Martian didn't start the ship yet and looking at the others she asked.
"So where are we going?"
That was a good question, they were in the middle of the desert and the target could fly, very fast as well if the information given was accurate, so how would they find her?
"I found her."
The others looked at Robin with astonishment.
"What? She isn't exactly subtle and she isn't hiding either."
A video played of a blonde woman entering a clothing store and then coming out while the owner tried to stop her by grabbing her wrist.
The result was his arm bending in a weird angle as he flew back into the store thru the window.
"I ran a face recognition software to check the cameras in the 3 closest cities and then filter for reported crimes and bingo."
Aqualad was impressed and asked.
"Do you think she is still there?"
"She did ripped an ATM from a bank and stole the money, then she went to a hotel, as I said no subtle."
"If you tracked her down, then others probably did as well, local authorities are not capable of dealing with this, we should move and assist as soon as possible"
When they arrived at the city they saw the hotel surrounded by police, all aiming weapons at the entrance.
"Come out with your hands in the air"
It wasn't a resort hotel or some massive hotel casino, just a small 10 floor building that had rooms avaliable, considering this city wasn't a tourist spot that was more than enough.
The police had evacuated the area and posted officers in all the exits to stop her from fleeing.
They were aware of her being a super human so they took precautions and brought heavy weapons, still they have no idea what they were dealing with.
When the doors of the hotel opened a girl stepped outside, with an amused smirk she looked at the officer that was using a megaphone.
"Put your hands in the air and kneel down on the floor."
She raised one hand and pointed at him.
Then a light passed next to his head and exploded the car behind him.
The police fired all their guns, while the blonde stood there whitout moving, just allowing the led to bounce off her whitout effect.
Then she raised her hand again and another light flew towards a policeman shooting a handgun at her.
Just when the deadly attack was about to hit, the officer disappeared in a blur and the explosion failed to connect with the target.
The android seemed annoyed that someone was getting in her way.
A group of teenagers dressed in ridiculous outfits were standing in front of her.
Aqualad looked at the officer that was speaking before.
"Quickly retreat and form a perimeter around the area keep civilians out of harm's way"
The officer didn't argue and started to move.
Wally leaned against a car with his arms crossed.
"Yeah this guys should have stayed away from the beginning, police is not capable of handling this."
"And you are?"
She was next to him faster than he expected, he barely dodge a fist aimed at his head, that sent the car he was leaning on flying.
She fixed her hair and then smiled again.
"You are amusing"
"Don't let your guard down"
With Aqualad scream the fight was on.
