I assume my stance, readying my kendo stick on my right shoulder. Adol holds his sword by his right hip, pointing outwards.
"First solid is a point. Best of 3. Don't hit hard." Adol says happily.
I nod. We can barely see our faces through our masks.
"I'm ready." I say warmly.
"Same. Let's duel!" Adol exclaims happily.
As Adol charges forward with a left horizontal slash, I try ducking underneath it. But Adol taps me on the back.
"Point to me!" Adol exclaims happily. "Reset!"
I sigh, annoyed. And assume a left quickdraw stance. Adol assumes his previous stance.
"Nice try but not fast enough." Adol teases.
I smirk, amused by him.
"I'll get better with this next round." I say cockily.
"Let's duel!" Adol yells happily.
We both surge forward. I try hitting him, but he blocks with his blade. Then thrusts into my left boob.
He drops his blade, and stands like a apologetic man with his hands up. Defensive and embarrassed.
"I didn't mean to win like that. Sorry!" Adol apologizes.
I laugh. He chuckles sheepishly. I lean the stick on the wall and take the helmet off. Adol does the same.
"It's fine hun. Good win. Barely hurt at all." I say happily.
"Good. Good." Adol says, warm and nervous.
"Soooo want to get lunch?" I ask warmly.
Adol sighs, a bit apprehensive.
"No. I've got to work after this." Adol says warmly.
"I gotcha. Gimme your phone number then." I say warmly.
"Of course." Adol says happily.
