Chapter 4 - The Resonance Factor!

A profound moment of transference unfolded.

The High Lord, a figure of acient gravitas, initiated the awakening with but a touch upon the brows of his progeny, Eric and Adelaide.

Within their internal structure, a dormant inheritance started, its potent stirring from within their own fabric.

Their perception acutely attuned to these nascent forces, registering an inexorable surge of energy.

The energy pulsed through their veins, a visceral testament to the bloodline's profound legacy.

Within their very own cellular fabric, a dormant process ignited, awakening a power of cosmic proportion, the raw majestic power of the Star Dragon, an essence inextricably linked to gravitational force itself.

The High Lord's touch was not merely a gesture of affection,it was a conduit for an acient slumbering legacy.

As his fingertips pressed against the brows of his twins Eric and Adelaide, the air within the hall seemed to thicken bowing under the weight of an invisible authority.

At the moment of contact,a dormant cartography within their DNA was ignited.

This was the transition from mundane flesh to the vessels of a celestial apex.

Deep within their marrow, a luminous agitation was observed, a tide of starlight flooding the vascular system.

It was as if their veins had become nebula - chocked rivers, carrying a current that defied the biology of common men.

At a microscopic level , every cell underwent a violent refinement.

The Star Dragon energy acted as a cosmic forge, rewriting their internal structure to withstand the crushing pressures of the void.

The siblings did not just feel stronger, they felt their whole world growing light.

It felt as if the fundamental laws of physics would fray at their command.

The very stone beneath their feet groaned as the children unintentionally tugged at the gravitational anchors of the hall.

In this hallowed silence, the High Lord's hands became the bridge between history and the future.

As he touched his children's foreheads, a low hum vibrated through the floor , a thrumming resonance of the Star Dragon breath.

Inside Eric and Adelaide, the world shifted. Their blood sang with the cold , piercing heat of a falling sun.

The twins watched in awe as the atmosphere warped around them, dust motes frozen in mid-air, trapped in localised pockets of stasis.

They were nolonger mere members of the family, they were bonded to the Crest of the Dragon.

They were becoming master's of the fundamental pull, the architects of weight and orbit, awakening a power that could move mountains or tear stars from their moorings.

Their specific bloodline trait granted them more than just strength,it granted them agency over the fabric of space.

Therefore, members who had cultivated their bloodline trait profoundly, would explore new developments for their trait, though this was not a common nor an easily achieved feat among the members of the bloodline.

Depending on the level of understanding of Astros energy, a member of the Patrov bloodline who had cultivated a certain amount of Astros that exceeded the basic threshold would easily exhibit skills of such unfathomable prowess.

While such feats were uncommon among the members of the bloodline, two key individuals in the family often exhibited such tremendous forms of energy, the first being the family's progenitor due to the years of intense training before taking on the mantle.

The second being, the Prodegon, another unique but yet natural bloodline trait only to be possessed by members of the House Patrov.

A being considered a genetic anomaly, to even its own bloodline, having feats of all the seven bloodlines and yet only born of the first.

Such unique members of the bloodline were able to exhibit feats such as, mass manipulation, the ability to make matter feel as light as a feather as or as heavy as a leaden monolith.

Singularity creation, the ability to create localised points of intense attraction, drawing everything towards a central inescapable core.

Flight and anchoring, by negating the earth's pull, they could drift through the air or anchor themselves so firmly that no force in nature could move them.

Yet most of these feats were previously achieved by past progenitors and Prodegons of the bloodline, as time went on, other members of the bloodline would come to understand the fundamental functionality of these feats and through intense training and research using the Prodegon and Past Progenitors as the source of understanding, they too could exhibit such feats .

Though , refining them was a difficulty as they didn't come natural to them and they also often burnt through a lot of Astros.

The manifestation of the Star Dragon's legacy was a sensory upheaval , marking the moment Adelaide and Eric ceased to be merely human and became anchors of the cosmos.

As the High Lord initiated the awakening, the physical world reflected the internal storm.

Their irises dissolved into swirling nebulas of indigo, reflecting the Star Dragon's energy now surging through them.

Around their bodies, a gravitational sheath formed.

Loose objects and even the High Lord's coat began to drift away as if the earth had forgotten its pull.

The air surrounding the twins rippled like heat rising from asphalt, a visual warping caused by the raw power of gravitational control beginning to bend light itself.

This was not just a power boost but a total biological rewrite.

The surge was not a gentle stream but a supernova contained within the narrow chains of their veins.

Every cell once dormant, vibrated with the frequency of a collapsing star.

This was the effective awakening, a transition where their very marrow began to generate a density that shouldn't exist in the physical plane.

Their veins glowed with a faint bioluminescent darkish violet-blue glow, tracing the path of their ancestral energy as it colonised their nervous system.

To handle the power of the bloodline, their bones had to undergo a densification process , becoming as unbreakable as the of the core of a planet.

At the center of their chests, rythmic thrumming began,a collection of energy that mimicked the heart beat of the dragon, tethering them to stars.

The progenitor's touch was not a mere symbolic gesture,it was a precise biological and energetic necessity.

To awaken a power that governs the fundamental forces of the universe, one had to provide a perfect harmonic bridge between the acient past and the unformed future.

The forehead served as the primary gateway because it housed the Astro-Cerebral Nexus

achieving neural proximity.

The progenitor placed his hands at this site to gain direct access to the pineal gland and the higher cognitive centres where the Star Dragon blue prints were etched into the soul.

This physical contact bypassed the resistance of the outer skin and bone, allowing the progenitor to sync his Olden frequency with the children's developing consciousness.

The Star Dragon bloodline was like a silent bell.

It possessed the potential to ring, but it required a specific strike to begin vibrating.

Astros energy acted as a tuning fork, the progenitor who often held the strongest power and skill in the family, exuded Astros energy to act as a resonant career wave.

The Astros exuded, sang a song only heard by the cells of his bloodline.

When his energy met theirs,it created what was only described as a resonance factor. This was a valid energetic match that triggered the cells to stop acting like human tissue and start acting like human conduits.

This resonance shuttered the evolutionary seals on their DNA, allowing the power of the bloodline to flow freely for the first time.

One might think more power is greater, but in the inkstone of celestials, precision outweighs pressure.

To avoid cellular collapse, the progenitor had to suppress his normal output of Astros, sheer pressure of his gravitational presence would crush the children before they could adapt.

Their internals are usually at ground zero in terms of growth.

To achieve resonance, the two energies must match,If the progenitor's output is too high, it creates static rather than harmony.

By suppressing his Astros, he lowers his cumulative energy to a level Eric and Adelaide's bodies can actually withstand.

He must dampen his roar to a whisper, such that his own children's Star Dragon's can have a space to awake and answer back.

Too much energy would simply drown out their internal spark.

The Hall of Sclera stood in a state of suspended animation.

While the gathered nobility saw only nine figures, the High Lord, his progeny and the other Lords of the Lands frozen in a divine trance, along with his wife keeping guard of their physical bodies, the reality was a violent convergence of cosmic forces.

The High Lord's frequency a resonant hum that vibrated the very stones of the hall had finally locked onto the children's fundamental units of Astros at their basic frequency, acting as a key to unlock a hidden potential.

It felt like a silent ritual, but to the siblings it was the end of the world as they knew it.

In the expansive theatre of Adelaide's mind ,she found herself adrift in a luminous void.

There was no floor, no sky, only an infinite expanse of purity.

Then, like a star collapsing into existence, an indigo light ignited in the distance.

It pulsed with the rythmic beat of a titan's heart.

As Adelaide stepped forward, the space around her began to warp.

This was the first sign of her inheritance:Gravity Manipulation.

The very air seemed to bow in her presence. As she reached for the light, the indigo glow expanded, unfolding into the form of a creature of legend, a beast so massive it's scales seemed like polished amethysts.

Though it was a majestic atrocity of sheer power, Adelaide felt no fear.

Instead, a profound sense of equilibrium washed over her.

She wasn't just observing Gravity, she was becoming its centre.

Her bloodline trait had been successfully activated.

While Adelaide found peace,Eric found a nightmare.

His vision began the same, a white void, the indigo promise but as he reached out, the light didn't just dim, it was extinguished.

The warmth was replaced by a localised crushing pressure.

The white walls of his consciousness curdled into a suffocating ink-black darkness.

The nostalgia Eric felt was a poison.

It dragged him back to every moment of helplessness he had endured.

His internal avatar felt heavy, his limbs turning to lead as the gravity of his own doubt began to manifest.

Standing where the light had been was a dark figure, that had a silhouette with a subtle violet glow.

A silhouette curved from the void itself.

It held a sword that seemed to drink the very light around it.

There was no indigo hued beast for Eric , just only something that was to test the urge for his survival.

For his case, this was not an awakening, it was a conquest.

A conquest set to test and claim his power, and he would have to take it from the hands of a shadow.

The synchronicity had diverged from the bloodline of the Star Dragon .

Eric's survival had begun fluctuating.

Back in the physical realm,Josephine watched the sweat bead on Eric's brow.

Her knuckles whitened as she grabbed her silver hemmed gown.

She could see the difference. Adelaide looked like a saint in prayer, her body radiating a soft indigo pulse.

But Eric?

His frame was shuddering.

Tiny fractures began to appear on the marble floor beneath his feet, the gravity around him flickering erratically, as if his soul was trying to pull itself apart.

Josephine then glanced at the six lords, their faces masks of intense concentration as they anchored the ritual .

She knew the stakes:

Interuption would result in immediate psychic backlash.

This resulting into her husband and children being cast into the Soul Realm of Astra for an eternity, a perpetual limbo where time is a circle and the exit is a myth.

She staged her hands, a silent prayer on her lips , watching as her son's body tensed for a blow that no one else could see.

***

The salt-thick air of the Archipelago of mist clung to the rusted corrugated metal of the warehouse, a structure that appeared to any passing fisherman,as nothing more than a graveyard for rotting nets and brine soaked crates.

But inside, the atmosphere was pressurised with a different kind of energy, the power of sedition.

Illuminated only by a flicker of a low burning essence lamp, a congregation sat gathered around a sacred wooden table.

These were not the silk clad aristocrats of the City of Oklahet.

Or the gilded six lords of the Six lands, these were men and women of no noble and royal bearing, the rock bottom common man.

They wore the rough spun linen of labourers, and the scarred leather of mercenaries.

Yet their eyes held a chilling clarity that transcended their humble attire.

At the head of the table, sat a woman whose presence commanded the shadows to lengthen.

Her hair was a river of midnight, contrasting well with her skin as pale as polished bone.

This was Malakor, the whispered leader of 'The Unbound.'

"The celestial gears have turned once more,"

Malakor began, her voice a low melodic rasp that carried to every corner of the genuinely lightless room.

"The cycle has fallen upon us.The blood of the ancients stirs in the veins of the usurpers, and with it, the Anomaly ."

She leaned forward, the lamp light catching the cold intensity of her gaze.

"The Six Families believe their hegemony is eternal."

"They prepare their festivals and pass on their rites,as if the world belongs to them by divine right."

"But history is a circle of ash."

"Hence forth, we must cull the Anomaly before it reaches fruition."

" If its Bloodline Trait or even worse its Soul Trait reaches full resonance, our master's path will be paved with the bodies of our kin."

A man sitting to her left, his face etched with rugged lines of a deep sea scout cleared his throat.

Unlike the others, he looked agitated, his fingers drumming a frantic rhythm on the table.

"Cull it? Lady Malakor, we are chasing a ghost that has already materialised,"

The man urged, his voice crackling with a mix of fear and fervour.

"My informant within the first bloodline, a man who has traded his soul for a prize only I can offer has the confirmed the rumours."

"The Prodegon has already been realised."

A collective intake of breath hissed through the room, the term 'Prodegon' wasn't just a title, it was a prophecy of a singular entity born from within the First Family in the First Land Renova ,whose soul frequency could shatter the world's balance.

"The First Family is playing a dangerous game,"

The scout continued standing up to pace the cramped space.

"They've kept him shielded in the depths of the inner sanctum."

"The word is that within a few years, he will be sent to the Spires of Velden."
