"Ma, I know you're worried, but I just arrived at my apartment," said the 18-year-old man. "Sorry, Clark, I know it's just the first time away from the farm," said the 40-year-old woman. "I know, Ma, but you know I wanted to go to the city to go to school for journalism and to help people," said Clark. Ma Kent said, "We know, sweetheart, and we are so proud of you. Also, you have the suit I made you, right?" "Of course, Ma, I need to go now, I have to set up my apartment," said Clark. "Okay, sweetie, your father and I love you," she said. "Love you too, bye," he said.
Our protagonist starts to zip around the apartment, cleaning up and building the furniture. As he sits down, he pulls out a box and opens it. He pulls out a blue suit with a giant S on the chest and red trunks on the crotch. "I hope I can make you proud, big blue," he said. He stands up, takes the suit to the bathroom, and slowly puts it on. He looks in the mirror and say "Well, time to show this what real heroism looks like." He proceeds to open up the window and step back, ready to jump out of his window, and says, "Well, up up and away." He flies around the city looking for crime, starting his adventure as the Man of Tomorrow.
