Laurel walked closer to the crater, coughing as the smoke from the extinguished flames hovered stubbornly in the air. Fanning her nose, Laurel stepped closer to the edge of the crate.
The meteor rock was about two meters in size and was buried half deep in the smoking crater. The impact had carved a pit several meters wide. The surface was scorched black and uneven, marked with shallow dents.
"Whoa, this is my first time seeing a meteor rock." A soldier said as he removed his helmet. "I watched a meteor shower with my wife a couple of years ago, I never knew they could be this big and dangerous." He added, stepping inside the crate.
"Don't get too close," Laurel warned before stepping inside the crater.
Deep down she inwardly thanked Ling Xuan for training her, even though it was just squatting and running too many laps. At least she was more fit compared to before.
