Chapter 131
Covered in purple thunder streaks, Zain appeared mid-air and drove his trident downward with killing intent.
"Evil bastard born from the pits of hell — die for me!"
Everything within a ten-meter radius convulsed under violent shocks of lightning. The ground blackened and cracked. The air itself ionized with a sharp, metallic scent. The apostle vanished like he had never been there, forced out of existence by the sheer density of the attack.
When did he move?
Boots scraped against scorched earth, shocked to their cores. But Zain was not finished. Like a chain of living thunder, he pursued them into the sky, rising until he hovered meters above the battlefield. His eyes closed. The sky above the House of Fall began to crackle and darken.
"Godfall mice," a blood-soaked, robed figure started to sneer, "you must have a death wish with such stupidity. You come to us, we are—"
He never finished.
Soft words escaped Zain's lips.
"Lightning Chronicles."
